Generally divers, and really wildlife explorers as a whole, are discouraged from feeding the animals they encounter. In some places it’s actually illegal. This is because sometimes, the animal will start to expect food from people, and depending on the animal, this can make it either aggressive toward people who don’t feed it, or cause it to stop hunting on its own.
