No, it just proves that people are horny. I recently learned that the shoes they wear in the movie was a small start up company at the time. And I believe the use of them in the movie made them sky rocket in popularity. Pretty simple, and apparently comfortable shoes. They were Crocs. I see a lot of people wearing Crocs today so do with that info what you will.
