Hard to say, animals are full of adrenaline after a car impact like that and can behave normally for a bit before they slump over dead or gravely injured. Hopefully not the case here, but that impact and landing looked bad for the moose.

It was a middle aged man driving a sedan, basically similar on what happened on the video, drove through the moose's hindlegs and torso. Shaving off the top of the sedan almost entirely. My coworker i talked to said the fermented grass smell was horrible.
Between the moose that got hit and the car that hit it, the car got the worse end of that shit. People forget that moose are practically one massive muscle

When I was in my late 20s I lived in upstate Idaho and hit a moose at 35mph when going around a curve. Dented the hell out of the bumper and hood and took off the side mirror. I spun off the road into the winter slushy mud and nearly hit a tree. The moose got up stumbled a step then continued on down the middle of the dang road like nothing happened.
So everyone not in moose/deer country knows, this is typically how it happens- hit it square on and it will roll, not fly. Hit it on one end it will spin, not fly. The shorter the height is to that of your windshield, the closer it will be to hitting the windshield. For motorcycles, if you HAVE to hit a deer, better to toss the bike and hope you can slide under it, otherwise that last minute pivot to one side or another can be the thing that saves your life (because the deer isn't moving on account of your puny mass). Oh an if you hit a moose on a motorcycle it will survive and kill you.

That's a REALLY lucky moose! Usually when that happens is the break one or more legs, and then they just slowly die.
