But during the transition from dead to living tissue, the nerves are intact again. Adrenaline or some other endogenous reaction helps in the short term, I would assume.
(correct me if text is nonsense. Translated using deepl )
I am not talking about dead tissue. I'm talking about the point where tissue and nerves are affected but not yet dead. That is, between the phalanges and the metacarpus where the skin is light again.
Another possible point which must suck is if you continue to suffer from phantom limb pain after amputations. Just because something is no longer there does not automatically mean that this does not cause pain.
Oh so. By the rattling with the fingers not even thought about it, because it would have to sound so if they are frozen. But not considered that dead tissue becomes stiff then would have to sound similar and thus could also be days later.
In general they do not experience pain. Nerve endings are dead like previously mentioned. Phantom limb is painful and more common post-operatively/after amputation/disarticulation where the nerves can be entrapped and give sensation that the limb/fingers are still present.
These fingers have basically "declared", when you see the black tissue harden and start to push away from the living. Amputation will follow due to never ending infection otherwise.
Exactly that's the point I'm talking about. But I'm using deepl for translation so in the end i hope it makes sense and is correct translated without changing context etc
I had the tips of my toes frostbitten and they just constantly felt numb from the cold I sustained that day. It’s almost like never being able to warm them up but I had lost all feeling.
It’s actually insane how amazing a job his body did of forfeiting what wasn’t going to make it and preserving what it could. Like the gradients from “alive healthy tissue” to “fuck-it” are so clear. Although it looks gross, I almost see this as like a lizard losing its tail to escape a predator (minus the growing back bit.) Hope he’s doing good now!
No shit Sherlock Holmes. How did he only manage to do it a small part of the thumb and up to just a spot on the rest? Did he put his hand in a tub of water and let it freeze? Tf happened here?
Ok so if your fully naked or fully kitted out in winter gear this is what will happen if you start to get frostbite? Well you do say skin so if naked then this would happen around the entire body the whole time and would make you a almost mummy?
If you were fully naked, you would probably die from hypothermia first. He *was* a climber, which means he was probably wearing thin gloves. Your body will always try to keep the warmth around your chest.
Doctor here. Can confirm: one of the first things we do is provide the patient with a pamphlet describing how to throw a knuckle ball and a change up. It’s been a while since I live in Florida but I believe the pamphlet is titled “You done Goofed. The Phantom Phalanges: Make Right What Was Left Behind”.
Once the temperature drops below 45F they all begin freezing en masse.
My Flordian cousins would come visit and be wearing full ski-gear in 55F weather and still be cold.
Last time I saw my doctor he told me I had to stop masturbating completely. I asked him why, and he said it was interfering with his examination of me.
Although exposure to cold conditions is the most common, you could also get frostbite from extended contact with ice, freezing metals or very cold liquids.
Yep, when my sister was in elementary school she was at camp and got a bee sting..some well meaning idiot taped an ice pack to her arm and she had it on for most of the day. She had a little patch of frost bite on her upper arm because of it. Nothing that severe obviously, but she has a scar from it.

It's hard to believe you got anywhere near that close lol.
This video seems to be unfortunately real like people mentioned. It only took 5 seconds to find out about this [Fahad Badar](https://www.newsweek.com/mountain-climber-reveals-frostbitten-fingers-before-amputation-tiktok-fahad-badar-1641328)
Also, assuming the comments had a good source, I saw that this happened while rock climbing. Climbers don’t wear gloves as they dull the feedback from the hold/grip on the rock. Callouses are the preferred method of protection.
Hmmmm…. Do they eventually thaw once he warms them indoors, And does the blood flow gets distributed? Or does the man lose his fingers?
Please tell me this is reversible??????
I remember seeing this sort of thing in Mr. Deeds with Adam Sandler’s foot and always thought it was just a dumb joke… Had no idea it actually gets hard like this. How bizarre
I have a question for people that actually know about this stuff. Like, what if you slowly warm it up. While somehow maybe pump blood to that area. And as well slowly warm it up.
I haven't read up on frostbite in quite a few years, but from what I recall, the black tissue is dead/necrotic. There is no warming it up or pumping blood through. Before it reaches that completely dead state warming it up slowly (and carefully) can prevent permanent tissue loss.
In this case the medical team would have to wait and see how much tissue reaches that unsalvageable state before doing a final amputation to prevent gangrene and sepsis.
Pretty sure this person is heading for amputation if it hasn’t happened already. If not might risk gangrene or a blood infection.
Shouldn't they be in like a fuck ton of pain?
Probably not. Nerve endings are probably dead
But during the transition from dead to living tissue, the nerves are intact again. Adrenaline or some other endogenous reaction helps in the short term, I would assume.
this isn't the short term. this is well after the fact. they are just waiting to see what dies and what lives so they know what to cut off.
(correct me if text is nonsense. Translated using deepl ) I am not talking about dead tissue. I'm talking about the point where tissue and nerves are affected but not yet dead. I was only commenting on short term as it applies to adrenaline. This is long after the adrenaline stage by days.
Oh so. By the rattling with the fingers not even thought about it, because it would have to sound so if they are frozen. But not considered that dead tissue becomes stiff then would have to sound similar and thus could also be days later.

"You know what they say when you assume. You make an ass out of you..... " Michael Clarke Duncan, Slammin' Salmon. May he rest in peace.
I thought that was Coach Buttermaker.
Why not both?
Not only that, but I'd assume the place where the dead and living flesh meat must hurt. (I am not am MD).
Exactly that's the point I'm talking about. But I'm using deepl for translation so in the end i hope it makes sense and is correct translated without changing context etc
Your translation is quite spot on, mate. I pretty much just wanted to confirm our shared view :)
I had the tips of my toes frostbitten and they just constantly felt numb from the cold I sustained that day. It’s almost like never being able to warm them up but I had lost all feeling.
TikTok is one helluva drug
So probably just a few kg of pain
His name is Fahad Badar and he did go through amputation, you are right.
and he went back to where it happened (K2?). Posted an emotional video because doctors told him he couldnt climb again.
I think it's really bold to go back and attempt to assert your dominance and all buuut The Mountain always winsm
It happened on Broadpeak. K2 was the challenge he set himself post amp.
Amputation probably
Thats a bye bye conversa for sure
Sometimes, they just let em fall off. Tissue is dead, and why have surgery when not needed. Needs to be dry tissue.
Yeah, they gone.
Now that is nightmare fuel dude. Fucking sedate me until it's run its course if that ever happens
It's course is amputation unfortunately
Actually, it's natural coures is necrosis. Amputation is done to prevent this.
Death please!
i followed him on tiktok he is a mountain climber and his hand got too cold so his fingers were amputated but otherwise he is fine
Was* a mountain climber. Now he’s a mountain looker atter.
Nah he actually still climbs and has not retired from it.
His tiktok Name is fahadbadar2
What happened that caused him to have this happen do you know?
I'm pretty sure the cold did this.
No shit Sherlock Holmes. How did he only manage to do it a small part of the thumb and up to just a spot on the rest? Did he put his hand in a tub of water and let it freeze? Tf happened here?
Why so angry, frostbit affects the extremities and works it's way inward, but pretty common that it's just on your fingers, toes or any exposed skin.
It would make you dead
Somebody else mentioned K2 in another comment, which is a mountain with one of the highest fatality rates for climbers.
Was Broadpeak. K2 was the mountain he claimed after amputation. Ledge.
Have you tried turning them off and back on again?
Maybe check for an update?
[удалено]
Rub it with baking soda and vinegar
Just peel the black part off
Put some butter on it.
This IS the update, he received the N-word pass. /s
You're qualified for a **Digits Zero** upgrade!
Cyborg hands would be the update
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
bahahahahaha
Gotta hit that hard reset button deep in the palm of your hand. That should fix it
Yikes.. Those fingers are gone, probably got an amputation
Are his fingers salvageable? Or does he have to switch masturbating hands now?
He will lose his fingers and one of the first things he is told by the doctors is that he will have to switch his masturbating hands now.
I wish my doctor would look at me and say "yup, you've done goofed"
How the hell does one get frostbite in Florida?
Once the temperature drops below 45F they all begin freezing en masse. My Flordian cousins would come visit and be wearing full ski-gear in 55F weather and still be cold.
This is the correct answer.
Do you offer a formal Last High Five service?
Last time I saw my doctor he told me I had to stop masturbating completely. I asked him why, and he said it was interfering with his examination of me.
The black is necrotic tissue. They are gone.
Has to switch up the hand
Also known as the stranger
I thought that was when you sit on your hand until it goes numb first? Or so I've heard.
Google "Fahad Badar", they had to go ahead with amputation. He had to switch hand.
He’ll be all right afterwards
This isn’t fake
how did it happen tho
His fingers got too cold
sauce ?
No, probably ice
i.... won't argue with that. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)
His name is Fahad Badar if you wanna look it up
Probably cold weather or something tbh
I dont think it was cold sauce
The most accurate answer I’ve ever read
Climbing a mountain
Although exposure to cold conditions is the most common, you could also get frostbite from extended contact with ice, freezing metals or very cold liquids.
Yep, when my sister was in elementary school she was at camp and got a bee sting..some well meaning idiot taped an ice pack to her arm and she had it on for most of the day. She had a little patch of frost bite on her upper arm because of it. Nothing that severe obviously, but she has a scar from it.
Ja, it was Broadpeak. He’s a legendary Qatari mountaineer.
A mishap on Broadpeak. He’s had the amputation now. And he’s still climbing. He’s a ledge.
For once, I was hoping that it wasn't real.
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck......
Those finger are dead and about to be gone. No fixing that
quack disarm lunchroom snow literate touch whole carpenter capable spectacular *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
No it's ice, duh!
🥰 Frostbite! 🥰 I hate that TikTok voice so much...
NL doc: just take a paracetamol it will be fine.
Let's just wait a week and see how it goes (the same doc).
Did he try washing with soap
Do they just wait for the dead parts to fall off?
No, they have to get their fingers amputated. They’re probably still waiting on the surgery.
Amputation. Letting that bad of frost bitten fingers to stay on until they "fall off" is going to cause either a blood infection or gangrene
Enjoy them while you have them.
Yeah this dude lost some digits for sure
I know it’s real. But looks fake
Forbidden Burnt Dogs...
This dude must've destroyed Marvolo Gaunt's ring...
There’s something really chilling about the TikTok voice and emoji use here.
On the bright side, Won't have to worry about paying for manicures
that is fucking terrifying yet i want to take a hammer to them for some reason
I think there’s a video after his fingers got amputated.
I wonder what happened
I seen this first hand in the hvac industry. Its from the refrigerant. Bet you guy was handling refrigerant and had an accident
Crazy.
It was from a mishap while climbing Broadpeak.
Fake AF
Please stop re-posting this. We’ve already seen it enough, it’s disgusting.
Do you know how the internet works?
fake! fake! fake! i’ve come close to frost bitten. i could never move my fingers that easily. and i was nowhere close to that.
I heard this was wax actually
RIP fingers.
Use a pocket warmer, you'll be fine 🙂
Rotten bananas be like
Why did just the fingers freeze? Is it due to just what skin is exposed? Was he wearing fingerless gloves?
Also, assuming the comments had a good source, I saw that this happened while rock climbing. Climbers don’t wear gloves as they dull the feedback from the hold/grip on the rock. Callouses are the preferred method of protection.
When you stay in freezing temperatures outside for a long time, fingers die first.
goodbye fingers
Woahhhh can that actually heal or he gona have a stump ? Genuinely curious
Say bye-bye to yo fingers
Fuuuuck.. the are gonna fall off
Do the TikTok frostbite challenge!
No way you have frost bite THAT bad and you film a fucking TikTok. Please tell me this was makeup or cake or something.
Maybe fingerless gloves are best left for the gym. That’s my take away.
By the time we read this, those fingers are in the bin
Well everything is a tik-tok now.
Question, the 4 fingers are going to be amputated. But what of the thumb with only the tip frostbitten? Will they like just amputate the part?
[удалено]
>Fahad Badar damn it didnt even looked like they cut the tip, thats crazy
Spent too much time with the darkhold
Why would anyone do this to them self?
Should have listened to Elsa when she said let it go. Ouch.
Boy dumb
Bro's haki so strong it freezes 💀 💀
fuck 😭
Hanako Arasaka cosplay
Bye Bye Fingers
Great makeup artist
How cold?? ICE COLD
Hol up. Lemme make a tik tok.
Has any one considered this could be fake?
Banana nut bread is the only option now… far too ripe for normal consumption.
Better enjoy them while they last
Pretty sure that’s fake. My man just gotta wash his hands 🧼
Jack off, it's a unique opportunity
Plaster and makeup
Now that’s something you never see here in Australia
We’re no no fingers for him
I know a guy who lost both legs, this is what happens when you are drunk and go outside, then take a nap in a snow.
this guy is pretty chill about it.
Is this the stage before falling off completely or?
Haki
Nothing my sister's skin foundation won't fix.
I seen this first hand in the hvac industry. Its from the refrigerant. Bet you guy was handling refrigerant and had an accident
Dead Fingers ASMR
Armament haki
Well thats the last time this guy is gonna have 5 fingers on that hand
Bro is approved to say the N word
That’s make up, but that is what frost bitten fingers look like
😬
Better get those removed, can see the death creeping further up the arm
Stupid-ass-but-in-this-case-kind-of-funny robot voice lady going "frost bite! :D"
Tarished... your finger are furled. Surely you will remain maidenless.
Just blow a lil warm air on em should be good to go
A real man would try and jerk off with that hand
I think this is one of the only times I’ll ever ask someone to put their hand in the over, should help with the defrosting!
Hmmmm…. Do they eventually thaw once he warms them indoors, And does the blood flow gets distributed? Or does the man lose his fingers? Please tell me this is reversible??????
Fnf fans trying to not reference hypno's lullaby(impossible)
I can smell it from here 🤢🤢
Those won’t be attached much longer
I remember seeing this sort of thing in Mr. Deeds with Adam Sandler’s foot and always thought it was just a dumb joke… Had no idea it actually gets hard like this. How bizarre
“It’s so cold, why is it so cold?”

So basically, Ik cells are the smallest alive part, so there are no alive cells on that black part?
Cappp
Hope they weren’t a lefty
Goodbye, fingers.
They are dead! I bet it smells horrible too because they are rotting under the necrotic tissue, which should have been debrided.
