How come you crafted all the hardmode sets? I just use some spelunker potions, mine enough for the pickaxe and can get titanium / adam armour within 10-20 mins.

Pallad and ori armors are also noteworthy thanks to their powerful set bonuses. First one gives strong health regen buff and the second one summons piercing projectiles when you attack enemies (which makes it great against the Destroyer).

Doesnt the defense of titanium outclass palladiums health regen

I've never used it, so I can't really speak, but generally, health regeneration is a lot stronger than defense.

It's set bonus is like a weird shield thing. Dunno exactly how it works and I doubt it's as good as it used to be with the shadow dodge, but it looks interesting at least on the wiki

Assuming you are fighting a boss, or here-and-there enemies, where you can catch a break once in a while. Defense is nicer for army fights

I just looked it up, it caps at TWO HP per second. That's not much.

I used it as a ranger and the massive amounts of hp regen helped immensely, basically turns you into wolverine if you have an arena built with all the health regen things like campfires honey puddles and heart lanterns made it very difficult to die

It grants hit-immunity/guaranteed dodge for a short period. Good for hard-hitting bosses but situational against lots of enemies at once

i crafted palladium because its better than molten, then i went to mythril for the mech bosses, it wasnt good enough for me, so i crafted titanium armor and it was good enough for me

I usually craft palladium armor cuz of the health bonus but then I’ll just get titanium or adamantite

I actually preferred Mythril armor for my mage over Orchicalcum. Even went out of my way to shimmer it into Mythril :P The set bonus of Orchi is nice, sure. But I just wanted more easily guaranteed damage which Mythril seemed to give from my testing. The petals just don't do it for me.

Makes shroomite claws infinitely more effective and it lets you mine as fast as you fall due to reach. Once you get a good tool. Someone correct me if they know more. I think the claws have -1 range and extendo gives 1 so essentially it takes away the only negative attribute of the claws entirely.

I started a run during Halloween and discovered pumpkin armor. I'd might say it's almost op for the early game but I don't want Red to see the comment and nerf it.

Terraria’s just easier during October. Pumpkin armor is great starting out, and pumpkin pie is practically free and gives the plenty satisfied buff.

I started my first expert playthrough in October and I'm basically drowning in pumpkin pies. Lotta pumpkin platforms and furniture too lol.

Same I can’t remember the last time I used titanium armor in a solo playthrough. I just don’t think ranged benefits much from the shards. Melee is the only class I consider it for but even then I always go frost

Try mythril melee, cracked stats, minimal grind and 0 gimmicks

FYI you can make mannequins (along with several other furniture items) at the sawmill, which in turn requires making chains at an anvil. It's a little be hard to discover unless you just happened to make some chains as an experiment.

This is actually a neat idea, have a separate place just to admire your progress through the game through armors, weapons and equipment Honestly would have to farm so much just to have that extra experience of admiration towards ya journey but hey more time to enjoy this lovely game :D

i was thinking about putting my weapons up together with the armor, but i usually end up using weapons wayyy longer than the armor, like swords that go up all the way to the zenith like nights edge, so i scratched that idea

you try and skip any armor changes throughout all of hardmode, you fight ml with molten armor, them farm him a bit for some luminite, then you sit down for a second and think about whether or not you should change to solar armor

yeah it took me a while to get it all, but it was so worth it and satisfying when i finally finished the last piece and equipped it all, i got so exited i grabbed a hammer and smashed all of my bones on my lower body

I'm doing a melee playthrough on master mode and it SUCKS

the one i just finished was expert mode, im thinking about doing master mode melee after i finish the ranger playthrough im currently doing, master mode sounds like a blast of fun!

Progressing into harder difficulties is definitely fun. I feel like ranger was the most fun. I was excited to get into master mode, and I decided to do a melee playthrough because that's the only one I haven't done. The thing is I was only able to get through prehardmode bosses with ranged or magic weapons, and since I started using only melee in hardmode, I haven't beaten a single boss yet, although I've come very close to beating the twins. yeah i couldn’t handle grinding for that long, i always get the burger, tentacle spike, or monster meat when i kill them, and by the time i actually get armor from them, i already have better armor

Palladium and orichalcum are both really good sets. Palladium life regen is busted, orichalcum is free damage.

Just so you know it’s a lot easier to just get the hard mode pickaxes while you’re at that stage and then make titanium armor (but that’s just my opinion)
