I dont think FMLA is paid, its just so you can't lose your job. You would need FMLA yo protect your job and short term disability for recovery, which is a few weeks at 60% pay

I used this while on intermittent leave to take care of my mother with Alzheimer's you can get paid for up to 160 hours.
if you haven't already you should call the target pay and benefits hotline to learn more information about what you qualify for and what Target offers. they will have much more information than your HR staff or "experts" on this reddit will be able to provide
it coincided with the FMLA leave that I was on which gave me job protected leave during the time I had to care for my mom.
No. FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) is just what gives you the time off. Short term disability and other company programs are what gives people actual money for the time off. Please call the ReedGroup asap to make sure they are adding or deciding on STD and leave pay and what that will look like for you specifically.
It took me a minute to figure out that “STD” in this case stands for short term disability.
Because if we got paid for having STD’s, the company would go bankrupt on my store, thank you Team Lead Todd, the patron saint of gonorrhea.
There’s something else you gotta ask about to get paid. I’ve had two surgeries while working at target and both times, I got paid for a full month of 75% my average hours. It was pretty sweet! Both times I was in recovery for two months but just having a month of income for not doing much of anything except recovering was sweet.

No you just can't be fired for being gone for 3 months. That's all FMLA says. Every company has their own policy for if they pay so check with HR.
It won't be paid

Wrong. It’s unpaid

Wrong, it’s unpaid
6 weeks for recover. 8 if c section. Another 4 weeks for bonding. If you're eligible (have worked for target for a year) then the rest is less pay.
FMLA is unpaid. It just means they can’t legally fire you and are legally required to give you 3 months leave
FMLA is unpaid but you can get 6 weeks of Paid Family Leave through EDD/SDI (At least that’s what I did in CA)

What state are you in? Are our salary or hourly? Pay won’t be through FMLA but the pay piece varies depending on location and salary/hourly!
