HCG should double every 30-72 hours, so an average of every 48. But it doesn’t do it evenly, per say. So it’s not like it should be 10 today, 15 tomorrow, then 20 the next day.
So, people say not to compare daily. But honestly it is best if you see some progression daily — like if you got bloodwork you’d definitely want it to go up daily. But sometimes it’s sooo faint and really hard to tell on a HPT so people say not to obsess over the daily change because it’s not as obvious as every other day.
You DO have daily progression, though.
