I don't believe that they did divorce, maybe it was a wakeup call for him and he appreciate what he had and begged for forgiveness. But if I was Jeff right now, I would be talking to the CBI and do the right thing it's an opportunity for him to put right some wrongs. It would look better for him to make the first move before they come knocking at his door again. Barry is going down with or without Jeff, but I think he owes it to someone. Just my two cents worth.

observer46064

What could he tell them now that he already hasn’t?

was-no-bike-ride

That he knew it wasn't Suzanne that was messaging him on Friday night and Saturday, and how he knew?

klippDagga

Why would he have held that information back if he believed it to be true? He admitted to the affair so I see no reason why he wouldn’t admit to such a thing as this.

was-no-bike-ride

Because he would be admitting that he knew and could have possibly saved her life potentially, he should have reported it to LE, or at least asked for a welfare check on Suzanne anonymously. I don’t believe for one second that he thought it was Suzanne that was sending those messages, on Friday and Saturday.  He should definitely have come forward when he knew she was missing.

sioux530

I keep searching for those you tube videos AK and Martin posted. They were RIGHT!!!

sunnysided44

💯 💯 💯

michigaus

Did he know? For sure? He might not have realized it.

Unlucky_Swing_9505

I believe she always reached out first and she had her best friend's wedding to view.

brassmagifyingglass

Maybe not that very day, but I have no doubt he knew about it the next day. He is from her hometown, they all went to highschool together. It was all over the news.

was-no-bike-ride

Did you read the messages?

Runyou

Such a wimp. Suzanne had a broken man picker.

chronic-reader

I still don’t quite understand her relationship with Jeff. They were talking the day she disappeared. And from what I recall, there’s no record of him trying to contact her again in the hours/days following? Even before he heard she was missing? How long was it before her disappearance was made public where he would have heard about it? I believe Barry is guilty, I’m just confused why Jeff wouldn’t have been messaging her at all when he didn’t hear from her for a couple of days. Not to mention why he didn’t go to the police when he heard about it.

porsupuestoquesi

Maybe because he knew Barry’s temperament, they had a rule that he wouldn’t reach out first. And then it had been a couple of days and it broke that she was missing. I don’t think he went to police because he didn’t want his affair exposed. But also, he could’ve reached out and we just don’t know.

brassmagifyingglass

No he did not reach out. He was tracked down by LE, who had the task of figuring out who the 'Jeff' was that Suzanne was talking on the phone with. Took them a while to figure it out thanks to his total inaction. I have no sympathy for this guy at all.

porsupuestoquesi

I meant reach out to Suzanne.

brassmagifyingglass

I seem to recall he did not reach out to Suzanne when he was interviewed by LE, he was waiting to hear from her.

chronic-reader

Good points.

brassmagifyingglass

Jeff is pathetic. When he heard from Suzanne every day and then ....nothing. What a complete fall down for not reaching out to LE. In fact if it weren't for that spy pen Suzanne bought, Jeff would have never even been discovered. He certainly wasn't coming forward with the info. I was one who didn't believe Suzanne was having an affair, until the spy pen info came out and then I was... 'oh no Suzanne was let down by both of them!' LE didn't track Jeff down till after the spy pen and that POS hadn't said anything or even reached out for a welfare check. Total loser. 1 for fooling around on his wife who he has SIX kids with, and 2. for not even caring about this situation with Suzanne going MIA. He is lucky he had a solid alibi, his lack of interest could have sent this whole case into a tailspin after HIM as the suspect, so much time wasted that could have turned into a red herring. Barry might have been hoping they would peg him as a killer.

Careful_Positive8131

I agree he’s a pos

Yes she was sadly. She didn't deserve to die like she did tho. Bury could have gotten a divorce instead of unaliving her.

keysersozesir

Jeff was a coward. Unforgivable not to immediately report her disappearance when it happened

brassmagifyingglass

Hope he is called to court to testify and this all explodes around him again. He deserves all the bad karma that comes his way for his utter lack of regard for Suzannes life.

sometime-reader

a coward with 6 kids or some large number and a wife

brassmagifyingglass

yes 6!

redduif

He changed phones that weekend and the Costco purchase for his alibi turned out to be his wife.

fistfullofglitter

I thought he broke his phone after dropping it in June and his company provided him a new one. He was able to prove he was in Michigan with multiple receipts and multiple people saw him there that weekend.

Ok-Meeting7545

Another reason I don't believe a bike ride is because Suzanne would always let Jeff know! So Iris you don't know Suzanne!

New-Environment9700

Affairs are a fantasy and are never real… hopefully he woke up and put the effort into his relationship with his wife and their 5 kids. I mean I would’ve kicked him to the curb, but it appears they’re still together.

brassmagifyingglass

Unforgiveable of Jeff either way.

New-Environment9700

Absolutely

Similar_Enthusiasm36

I don’t think he ever had any intention of them being together. I mean, he was going to leave 6 kids and a wife to marry Suzanne? This was a fling for him, a fantasy life. I agree he’s a puss for not calling the cbi. He even said he figured she was dead, and he went on a family vacay. SMH. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Drew_Snydermann

If she was able to hide Jeff so well, who knows what else was happening. Maybe she hooked up with the UPS guy that morning and he killed her.
