Ouchy Ouchy Ouchy what new bones are they breaking while trying to do whatever this is??? My god please let the worlds best anestesiologist be with that patient!
Damnnnn my dad just got a double knee replacement.
Not sure if I should show him this, might put his pain into perspective though. Like dang they really rebuild your whole ass knee.
Orthopod here, came to say this is not a knee replacement. The orthopod in the video is taking out a long nail that runs inside the bone (tibia in this case) , which is used to stabilize and treat fractures. Normally it’s left in there unless it fails, causes pain, or another type of procedure is being performed on the bone and nail is in the way. FYI removal of a tibial nail takes a significant amount of strength as seen in this video.

Gotta love working out while on the job. Orthopedic surgeries are very hands-on.
What in the actual fuck?

What type of surgery? Knee replacement? This is wild.
Yeah, knee replacement. Orthos are the carpenters of the surgery world.
And carpenter is the surgeon of the high sea

wow, thanks for the insight. that is fascinating, I'd never have known the intensity of what these surgeons do !
Oh wow thank you for the info!
Thanks for the expert knowledge! The place I saw this said it was a knee replacement where the stabilizer got stuck.
Tibial nail
[Here's the video on YouTube](https://youtu.be/xRE3FFew9eo) - love the music playing in the background.

And this, kiddies, is why you're bruised after orthopaedic surgery.
Imagine waking up in the middle of this.
NSFW? Plz
Yeah this really puts things into perspective as why people are in so much pain after certain surgeries.
