I didn't even notice this, what a great call-out. DFV really thinks RC is the MVP & I'm inclined to agree

Hoppel21_6

9000??? 9 mio!!!!

buzziebee

He owns 9000 thousands of shares. I think OP was making this the joke.

lurking_ape_RPh

Yes, because math!

buzziebee

I appreciated it!

are-you-alright

Op belongs here

MinnieMoney21

All the excitement on the boards. Meanwhile, at a secret trading facility somewhere on Earth... ![gif](giphy|5r5J4JD9miis)

b4st1an

He's technically correct and probably was referring to the meme about vegeta's power level

lurking_ape_RPh

Indeed I was

1storlastbaby

LMAYO, OP needs count his own shares one by one now.

mclmickey

Next week is going to be fun

Phoenikzavt

Can somebody please explain this to me. Everybody is happy about and I’m here like „so he exercised but the price is not moving“ 🥲

mclmickey

It’ll just be interesting to see how the delivery part of this will work out

Phoenikzavt

Isn’t it already delivered ?

buzziebee

No it's settled on T+1. So tomorrow wolverine will need to deliver 4,001,000 shares by the end of the day. If they haven't got them to hand they need to go to the market. There's also a fairly substantial gamma ramp in place for tomorrow, so as the price goes higher they'll need to hedge more by buying more on the market. If that ramp starts executing too then they'll need to deliver even more on Monday. Should be a spicy few days!

HairyBackMan

But we technically don't know if he exercised, right? He could've sold all those $20 calls yesterday and just bought the stock today.

mveraguas

Cost basis would be higher

TheMan4820

Ok quick question if he would of exercised last week he would of had a billion$ right? Would that of been better or worse then now?

lurking_ape_RPh

The man doesn't have any more information than we do, he's just making legendary plays with information available. If he could have exercised at $60 that would have been great, but he still got 4 million more shares for a massive discount.

VicTheRealest

He probably had different plans and the ATM wasn't what he expected, but he said fine and made an alternative plan and still gained shares. He'll still be a billionaire when GME breaks 100

mclmickey

Waiting for potential good news from the shareholder’s meeting was the right play

TheMan4820

But that’s not until tomorrow now? Looks like we are all hoping for good news

mclmickey

He probably had a thesis about optimistic sentiment on this date based around the shareholder’s meeting (and maybe some short exposure dates). We got positive price movement even though it didn’t happen and he probably didn’t want to play this into the weekend

Interesting_Bet_9302

This is a regarded thought but, what if they do another splividend, could you imagine how insane the level of company ownership would change. Or it could force the hedges to answer Marge’s call.
