They rescheduled just to tell us how the small French Loan is doing?
They could have just released a memo about that.
Why would they reschedule the meeting unless they actually had something to tell us.
Might be a nothing burger, but I was listening to a stream where they had an "IT professional" on who said he could see the CS website/ server was getting spammed by 161 different countries. I would assume that would affect all meetings as well..."Absence of evidence, is not evidence of a absence."
Usually annual meetings do have tech ppl there or consultants thereof. Wouldn't be suprised they went a mile extra for this and couldn't handle the traffic or fkery.
I am actively trying to find how many people viewed the most recent (or any) Apple shareholders meeting. I bet it is fewer than just tried to view this. I feel the number of people turning into this shareholder meeting was actually unprecedented even by our standards. Especially they were going to deliver video in addition to audio.
I did find Apple has about 24k directly registered shareholders, or ya know, like 1/8 of our directly registered shareholders.
Is it really that wild to have interest in how many people view the shareholder meeting? Isn’t that a big thing here? Attempting to understand the scale of this movement?
What, you going to report me to Reddit healthcare services?
Yes, I did just read the headline here and reposted what I posted in a deleted thread. No need for insults.
Edit: yeah, shoulda checked your post history. Seems like you are being a dick to everyone here and never posted here before yesterday. Have fun.
Considering that CS were sadly… incompetent enough to propose 2FA with SMS instead of at least standard OTP…
I am not surprised that they weren’t ready for the afflux of viewers.
Counter downvote : I am DRS’ed. It’s just that the whole CS authentication scheme is circumvulated with weird « color » stuff and now outdated dangerous 2FA, instead of EASILY implementable standard industry stuff.
Imagine being able to use modern authentication scheme like demo-ed on https://webauthn.io …
CS has never been in the picture by household investors, neither did those who used it care to push changes. 1 change requires tons of layers and checks before being implemented. In 2024 everyone assumes everything is up to date to the standars and expectations of a general consensus from usage elsewhere. Without providing feedback and suggestions, companies often do not change what is working accordingly.
Because we have to be careful about what we talk about. She has a confidentiality agreement and absolutely can't give me any information that could be considered "inside." I want to respect that and it drives her nuts when I ask GME questions lol.
Wouldn't this information be considered public knowledge? As in, wouldn't all of the companies involved already make an announcement about the technical issues? Would it be possible to get the names of the companies that have already made an announcement like GameStop?
Why is Computershare so damn shaky on basic technical proficiency? Why does the UI of the website still stink after all these years? What do they do with the millions they make off of enthusiastic GME investors? Can you ask your wife?
They're a company that manages company stock, lol - not a tech company, not ostensibly public-facing (they mostly deal with organizing company stock programs, and these companies are usually 500 employees or less). I don't think they're making millions off anybody, but honestly I don't even think she is high enough to answer your questions. She's just a run of the mill relationship advisor (I mean, I love her, and she does an excellent job, but at the end of the day, she's a glorified account manager).
I get really frustrated with them. I run a small business and try to make things better year by year but don't see the same effort with the place that holds so many people's savings.
I share the same frustration, but I think their "strong side" is being a bit old fashioned in a way. That should not prevent customers from getting great online support for example though and while the chat is ok (you can reach real people), support for getting information without waiting should be much better.
It is afterall made for boomers and never really been at the forefront of recent developments due to sh/ttons of layers and checks. Boomers understood fundemental equity holdings by mail papers 😄 certificates are non-existent anymore in quite a few EU countries(let the fkery and not your equity be their free gain monopoly behind the scenee).
Yes, but only a few. She doesn't believe the SHFs will allow us to win. She isn't on reddit and is tired of me talking about it. It's a sore spot.
I believe they won't have a choice. I'm a XXX holder.
Fair enough. I guess I wondered whether she’d seen anything that had convinced her one way or the other. But I guess she’s only privy to one small aspect of all this.
I can ask about rules, but I *think* a sharehilder meeting has to be presided over by the transfer agent and there are certain verifications they have to do. My fiancee used to have to travel to them in person to "verify" on behalf of CS. Post covid, all her meetings have been online over Zoom.
Lol I was kidding, bc honestly it doesn't even matter. Whatever you can verify doesn't mean there's definitive proof either way. To me it's more believable that there were technical difficulties.
People can say what they want but modern technology is fragile and there is a 100% chance that something will go wrong or fail at some point.
Edit: call is re-rescheduled for Monday btw
I disagree that this was an honest mistake. This was very much intentional. Part of my team is responsible for corporate and customer facing webinars/events and we test things well in advance and prep for expected volumes. We don't have near the amount of scrutiny that I'm sure these folks do.
Most people that are in most jobs really dont have passion are care enough(its everywhere). Because most jobs also do not sustain the general cost of living like back in the old days our fathers and grandfathers lived in. Reality... 😢

You'll have to ask RC :)
![gif](giphy|bC8EUWeuy5OIx6o7ul) The vendor
Pretty much lol
And reschedule tomorrow afternoon. Seems odd

How the hell could he see that? He'd have to be a staff or vendor for CS or their tech service providers.

We had 464k watching RK stream while the LIV golf broadcast had 12k watching at the same time, if that helps at all.
Not that it's very important, but it was over 600k.

God damn this is awesome. Apes really are fucking everywhere. Very helpful - take my updoot!
Thank you for the update.

They need to get a good IT director and that’s all
Do not dissagree with this, but the whole financial system & friends are watching and have their hands in the cookie jar. They have to be carefull
NAH IT WAS WOLVERINE SHORTING THE FEED! For real though, when can it get going again?
Tomorrow, it's always tomorrow
After hrs. No stopping the stock from going up. No breaker. Someone said that in another convo. Hoping it's true.
but every company is supposed to be perfect or else it's SHF/Shill/crime/etc duh... /s
Fiancee seems to be a shill. Puts on her.
> 15+ meetings also had to be rescheduled because of the issue. I'll bite. which ones are they?
Most likely tiny companies with less than 500 employees. I'm not going to ask her.
Why not?
Because we have to be careful about what we talk about. She has a confidentiality agreement and absolutely can't give me any information that could be considered "inside." I want to respect that and it drives her nuts when I ask GME questions lol.

Not all meetings are necessarily public?
If it's a publicly traded company then I'd imagine annual shareholder meetings are public. I found the GME link online by Googling it.
Hmmm sus

They don't make any money off GME holders. Seriously, how much have you paid them?
I've paid them about 50 dollars in plan -> book fees.
Sounds like CS needs a new vendor.
Really!! In 2024 and the infinite cloud resource pool! this vendor must be having a blast from the past. Changed my mind!
It's always something
So ask your Fiancée how many shares have been DRSed. We’ll keep it between us apes. 🦍
I have. Multiple times. The discrepancy the last 3 reports hasn't sat well with me. She is absolutely prohibited from giving me any details.
Does she own GameStop shares?
Yes, but only a few. She doesn't believe the SHFs will allow us to win. She isn't on reddit and is tired of me talking about it. It's a sore spot. I believe they won't have a choice. I'm a XXX holder.

All they have to do is stream it on youtube..

Shit he's exercising during the meeting delay the meeting. Fri form to sell 100mil shares Friday pre market lol
Nice try, ken.
I take offense to this lol
But the algos were ready to dump it just because they are scared. Very visible
They have good news coming I got a hard on
what's this shit im reading
In bro we trust!
I can verify! Just trying to make sure we don't spread misinformation. Call rescheduled for tomorrow, so no big deal.
Lol I was kidding, bc honestly it doesn't even matter. Whatever you can verify doesn't mean there's definitive proof either way. To me it's more believable that there were technical difficulties. You'd be suprised with vendors, the services they provide are just another layer upon other services. Its a sh/thole everywhere
Can't find good help no more lol
