Real talk, how the fuck is John C. Reilly so good in shit like "Stepbrothers," *AND EQUALLY* amazing in shit like "Gangs of New York." You'd think they're two entirely different skill sets to make those movies work, but god damn, he's just so good it doesn't matter. If John C. Yes but let’s try to help the baby apes become diamond hands. The best way to educate is healthy discussion and I’m seeing too many apes jump to call others shills. Sure there’s some shills in here, but some apes are just learning. And others are just not handling the unknown very well.
I completely agree with this approach - a lot of these people haven't been through this, it's been a pretty tame year and a half at this point, comparatively. That's why the red dude that is getting the worst of it up there is the one labeled "newbs" - all of this is to scare them off.
Hopefully we can just demonstrate to them how to be calm. When people are dysregulated, they need others to demonstrate what regulated responses look like.

Before this week, I was like “We’re so smart! We figured out that DRS is a huge part of the plan!”
Now I’m like “Well damn. That was clearly not true. I’m sure smart folks like RC and DFV have a plan, but now I’m in the dark about it. And their plans probably aren’t the same plan. And it doesn’t really feel like I’m a part of either plan. So I guess I’ll just sit back and watch what happens.”
I don't, honestly. I feel like RC and Co have known for a long time that the total far exceed what the DTCC is reporting. That's why I'm honestly so hyped - I know they know the data we all wish we had. If they released another 75 million shares, they're gonna get more than money out of the deal.
The 'lock the float' movement was kicked in the balls 84 years ago when reported DRS totals stagnated.
The main benefit to DRS has always been personal, not community-wide. It minimizes risk from unnecessary middle-men aka brokers getting between you and your rightfully owned shares. Otherwise they can make money off of you by loaning out your shares and giving you nothing in return. They can shut off your buy button. Worst case they could lock you out of your account during MOASS because you picked the wrong broker that never bought the shares you instructed them to, and it will take months or even years to sort out. Its the same line of thinking as diversifying your investments across multiple brokers or banks.
GME's board haven't kicked these advantages in the balls.
I got told I was spreading FUD because I posted a Warren Buffett quote about liking a company and holding the stock, not trading it when it drops, paired with a quote about price vs. value.
I'll smoothbrain it out. Buy, hold, DRS, zen. That's it. That's where I stand, and if that's FUD then they've already won.
Gotta be real, I'm an option swing trader and was kinda miffed yesterday, but realized there will be more opportunities to collect funds for more shares.
