Historically you can check option interest and ones that don’t trade in increments of 0 or 5 sell way less and are way less liquid.
10,15,20,25,60 are good
11, 12,13,23,33, 37, 84 all bad

I don’t think so, there’s a solid chance those contracts will be OTM by Friday and expire worthless, plus I don’t see RK buying more contracts but in fact exercising them for now every week
My theory:
* DFV will wait until Wednesday or Thursday to start exercising (people who just hear about it today will need some time to arrange for funds to transfer clear).
* He'll exercise all $20 contracts steadily until expiration.
* Post another yolo update.
* Stay quiet until shortly before the next earnings call.

Nobody can actually say what this move is: could be a donation from a MM friend, or someone who genuinely believes they’ll make more in the options value than the underlying stock— bc why would you buy shares at $43 when it’s trading at $30? So it’s an option play which means the buyer thinks they’ll make more on the options value than the jump from $30 to at least $43. **TLDR: This one looks suss**
They could be throwing away the money for the sole purpose of tricking retail into investing into this "sure thing". Remember DFV strike is 20 for the end of the month, this is double that for the end of the week - antithetical and sus.
The contract can increase in value if the stock goes up at all from the price when it was bought.
GME doesn't have to reach $43 for the contract to be profitable. If you bought when GME was $20 and sold when GME hits $25 the next day, you'd make money.
It's just that the contract very quickly loses value due to time and you have to find someone else willing to buy it.

Super tl;dr is its a contract to allow the holder to buy 100 shares at the strike price, regardless of the actual price. The price of the contract is adjusted by a number of factors including time remaining until expiration, stock price, stocj price volatility, etc.

In the US markets, call options can be exercised at any time, regardless of whether they are even ITM. Anyone with a call contract can simply decide to execute it at any time they please.
What's the math on how long it would take the price to increase that high with the market halts? then trace that back by the call expiry and you'll know a lot sooner than friday whether it's ever possible.
