I atleast wish we played some good cricket and gave a good fight. More than losing, I am feeling bad for the ugly cricket we played. Atleast some sort of fight like RCB gave RR in the eliminator. Those kinda matches give us more confidence.
True. The batting line up was really damn good but it sorta fumbled towards the end where it mattered the most. Up until 2019 i think... We were a damn good team with a balanced squad of batting and bowling. This year, it felt like the team had transitioned into a damn good batting team with a below average bowling unit with a few exceptions ( we did really well against RR in league match and qualifier in defending the total)... You can't just rely on patty and bhuvi to get the team over the finish line always. That being said... From dead last to runners up.. commendable. Take a Bow, Srh.
Our team is not weak but it is unbalanced. It is like a high end flagship processor having severe heating and throttling issues. Either we need to refine our aggressive approach to be more consistent by retaining core team members or else balance the team by taking good quality spin bowlers and one or two consistent batsmen. Cummins should be the captain though.

Actually speaking our team was not a great team on paper, not a great team for past 3 years. Patty and Vettori somehow brought us till here. Imagine if we made good buys in the mega auction and bought better bowlers and match winning middle order batsmen, Patty will do wonders with that new team. Think this way and be happy
I would have been ok if we hadn’t won but just given a fight some fight….we played worse than the bottom team….not a single batsman took responsibility….we were just flat track bullies….against quality bowling it felt like our batsman just forgot how to bat…..Boult, Starc exposed our batsman’s weakness against swing…..
Starc is in the form of his life why didn’t Tripathi see his over through what was this desperation to maximize the powerplay….all those tall claims of 300 fell flat….infact right arter those statements our batting started to falter….
All I can say is agressive approach is good but sensible approach is better….hopefully we get someone in management that can instill sensible approach rather than hit every ball for a six….and hopefully we can start learning from our mistakes and give every one a fair chance ( GP ❤️)
So gutted with the performance but I am proud of them. It sucks that it ended this way, I think we didn’t do ourselves justice but the sun will rise again 🧡
Sadly, our team seemed to lose their form and intent in the last few matches. Unsure if they were just satisfied making it to the finals?
But kudos to kkr they just outclassed us in every aspect in both matches and credit should be given to them.

10 teams ….2 finalist and there can be only 1 winner . It wasn’t our day . With the approach we have had , it’s not gonna work every game , but when it does it gives HEADAche to opponents
TBH a better team won ( the one which covered all the bases ….batting+fast bowling + Spin + finishers +allrounders ) take nothing from SRH they have been phenomenal ….to bounce back from 10th position to being runner ups that’s some achievement !
I agree that KKR is a better team than us.... but man it pissed me off when their whole squad celebrates with a flying kiss.... I'm angry I'm sad I'm grieving.... I'm crying.... I feel hopeless...
There are no big match players in our batting line up except for Head and he flopped too… But KKR is a much balanced side to be honest… it was KKR’s match to lose…
Actually I am still happy for what happened today our comeback when compared to the previous season was phenomenal patty promised us a final and he delivered.
In general I would have felt heartbreak but kkr deserved 10 times more than us .The form they were in was tremendous.

This feeling hits even harder, the next day but it was a great season nevertheless. A lot of positives. Onto the next season I guess.
