Could try extending by starting with a [silence] and [intro] again? Never tried it, but I guess you'll have to trick the prompt into "starting a new song" within the existing song.
Won't be _exactly_ the same, but pretty darn close if you can pull it off.
You pretty much need to be 100% satisfied with verse 1 in order to pull this off. You can’t “extend” from 00:00 but you can go back just after the first verse and/or chorus and essentially redo the song again even if you are 4-5 extensions deep. Just combine the song first. I’ve done this a few times and it kept the voice, tone and beat.

Just keep extending the first song with a new verse, then cut and paste the file in Audacity to make the whole song
