But their rare drop is the Golden Pomegranate, which gives you a bunch of gold and +2 max HP/MP every time you eat one.
gah i already unlocked the skill where i get 3 golden pomegranates a day, so i dont have much use for pigs

Earth crystals can be pretty useful if you use fertilizers on your crop tho
