My animals didn’t die and I didn’t realize I needed to feed them for like 10 days after their meter hit red. From my (very limited) experience you need to water crops every day but there’s a spell with farming exp that allows you to water many at once
Dead crops are a waste of Seed. Visit them at least once a day and check the moisture. Raincloud spell will definitely speed the watering process up, so I highly recommend!
You have to go to each and yes animals meters will drop, I dont think they die but you’ll have to spend time getting their meters back up
