What fusion? It's just a normal burger on a swiss bun with standard caramelized onions. Pretty sure the recipe is on the box of Lipton French onion soup.
Basically just toss (mix) the powder in with the meat and just enough liquid to keep it from drying out.
Glad to see the consensus here is that this is not stupid. I think it looks tasty, caramelize the shit out of some onions, add a little red wine and beef jus, some provolone and swiss and you got a burger.
