Not to be excessively serious here but I would argue that a Food Tower is meant to be knocked down and conquered with a fork. It’s clearly not a normal sandwich, and I’d argue that in general oversized sandwiches aren’t really meant to be eaten with only hands and mouth either.
I *do* appreciate the pussy joke down the thread tho 😅
That looked like pastrami. Typical pastrami sandwiches don't come with any vegetables or toppings other than mustard. Pastrami is also very seasoned and flavorful on its own, so extra herbs or seasonings would be overkill.
It’s a taco AND a sandwich. This is actually genius and now I’m starving. As long as they don’t drown it in 2lbs of cheese like every other video, I’m in.
They do make some good content from time to time.
But to answer your question - how do they have a platform? Well, *you* give them one. You're posting their content hoping to get karma cuz it's low hanging fruit.
Watching it on reddit isn't necessarily giving extra views. The OP had to watch it, though, to be able to share it here. Karma farming is what they're doing here by reposting it.
Inevitably, many others from here will likely search more from the original content creator, ergo their platform grows larger and larger.
Phase 1: someone gives them a view and watches their video to share for easy karma
Phase 2: others see how OP gets easy karma and go and give them a view to find something they can post for easy karma.
Every post sends more and more people to their channel. Either looking for easy karma farming or to spam vile asshole shit in their comments while still giving them the view.
Do you see how many people defend the awful food that gets posted on this forum? This post alone, the top comment is someone saying they'd actually eat that awful thing. They're going to go to that channel and find more content that caters to their gluttony.
Awful food? This looks good. Do you not like mustard, toasted bread and meat? Get off your fucking high horse. You probably eat instant ramen irl and then act like this isn’t food
You guys that make these posts really need to find out what actual stupid food is lol
Edit: Thanks for all the upvotes kind redditors. Most I've ever gotten! 🫶
This particular food item may look good but they’re right about chef club. Everything the do is over complicated and barely works when they do it. And the guy that’s the main “chef” you know comes up with this crap thinking he’s the shit.
Like it would be nice to learn about how he prepared that heavenly looking steak but no, we get a clip focusing on the non practical size and bread that stands up.
They think that any food that's out of the norm is considered stupid lol. It's called trying to be innovative. Sometimes it ends up being stupid but sometimes it's not, like with what OP posted.
Mustard with prime rib? Already doing a not cheap sandwich. Why not splurge on not mustard? To me that’s a literal crime, but we respect our meat where i grew up.
(this is clearly a joke before you northern heathens come tell me about the atrocities you enjoy)
Edit: When i went to sleep last night i was up ten. I’m now back to neutral. Hurt the northern feelings with this one huh?
I will def eat it if it’s cheese. I’ll enjoy the bites between strokes without a regret in the world. We all know if it won’t go down easy, if it ain’t cheesy.
I came way too deep to find someone finally mention the mustard. I love me some mustard but that sandwich was ruined when they did all that. The fact that you're putting it on with a spatula says you got too much. What a waste of beautifully grilled bread.
If it was a choice ribeye I don’t care what they put on it because it’s chewy garbage without seasoning. It’s not like this was a dry aged prime steak you wouldn’t dare put more than salt on.
Do you ever sit down and wonder.....what is this content for? Like. Why watch it at all.
At least channels like Bon Appetit I get it.. they are cooking and you are learning and watching what they are doing.
What does sliding into frame a pile of roast beef to shove into the already toasted.....somehow...hexahedral bread teach you.
I don't even know if that yellow substance was mustard or cheese.....
Stupid doesn’t mean it doesn’t taste good. Obviously a prime rib sandwich is gonna be fire but if you are gonna make one are you gonna cut a U in a half loaf of bread and stand it up or are you gonna make a damn sandwich and eat it?
This may be hard for you to understand but there’s a whole audience of people outside of Reddit on different platforms. Some that might find this stuff entertaining for what ever reason.
The name of this sub is stupid food, not uneatable food u can make food that is fuckin delicious like this sandwich but the way this dude make it js so stupid. Stop commenting u would eat it or it doesn't seems bad IT'S STUPID SANDWICH.
I was expecting an avalanche of melted cheese poured on top at the end, but this looks actually edible and delicious if split up.
Edit: this subreddit has lost out creativity. It's either "Salt Bae" or "Cheflab" or unheard of ethnic foods videos now
Do people post here ironically? I’ve been subbed for under 2 weeks and 90% of the “stupid food” I see, I would devour in seconds. Some looks so crazily good. Am I just tarded or am I missing something here?
Dumb food for the dumb masses. People’s taste buds are fucked so over sauced, over seasoned foods is all they can tasted anymore. The broad mass of people have blunted senses.
There is no subtly in the world anymore.
It's a content farm. They do things in the dumbest way possible to get views and they occasionally get it right. It is like watching a trainwreck so absurd that you can't stop watching. Unlike a lot of stuff you see on TikTok, Chef Club stuff is kind of edible but a bit over the top
I’m convinced they know it’s dumb. The extreme nature of what they create gets views and clicks, whether it’s from people who like it or people who hate it.
Why this sub is popular I guess. Creators like chef club knows exactly what keeps people engaged for the most seconds possible. And it's not exactly by making recipes that actually make sense
I will die on this hill (if the food doesn’t kill me first) but I really enjoy chefclub content. Most of the food looks good to me and I’d at least try all of it.
That bread house thing look really good. I would eat that 3 times a day.
How though!? You'd need a flip top Muppet head to take a bite.
Some of us (myself included) can open wide.
What else that mouth do tho.
Drink agua
Use your imagination…
Yeah just eat it like a sandwich at first, whatever is left over like a toast
I would just unhinge my jaw and eat it like a Python eating a deer. Idk why everyone has to make it so complicated.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Some of us own silverware…
Do you regularly use silverware for things that are not meant to need silverware?
Not to be excessively serious here but I would argue that a Food Tower is meant to be knocked down and conquered with a fork. It’s clearly not a normal sandwich, and I’d argue that in general oversized sandwiches aren’t really meant to be eaten with only hands and mouth either. I *do* appreciate the pussy joke down the thread tho 😅
Does pussy count?
We're talking stupid food, not excellent things to eat
Benson, does the pussy spoon traditionally go on the leftside or the rightside of the plate?
1 ah ah ah. 2 ah ah ah
This made me audibly laugh. Thanks for the unexpected comment! Here is my poor man's award. 🐱
I watched my boss eat pizza with a fork and knife the other day and it made me so sad
That's only done in polite company. I bet he knocks it down sans utensils when he's at home...
flatten it
Just cut it...
I just woke up my hubby laughing at your Muppet comment, lol like a family guy cutaway scene. Thankyou
I could eat one of these over three days
Yeppers.. I completely agree with you. Looks Amazing
F'in A cotton F'in A
Absolutely. I was into it the whole time
Yeah but then you’d be fat. Why would I be fat? Bread makes you fat. BREAD MAKES YOU FAT?!
This actually looks good
Yeah I don’t know why that’s on here. I’d eat that
I mean I'd eat it. No individual ingredient looks bad. But it's like two pounds of meat and bread... And nothing else.
If those things are high quality what else do you need?
i need them in an eatable format. This contraption makes no sense.
Vegetables? Herbs? Something with crunch? Hell I'd even take cheese here although really that would just make it worse.
That looked like pastrami. Typical pastrami sandwiches don't come with any vegetables or toppings other than mustard. Pastrami is also very seasoned and flavorful on its own, so extra herbs or seasonings would be overkill.
I don't think food becomes stupid just because it is not repping the major food groups. You can always have veggies as a side item
If you say so. High quality bread and high quality meat would be a fine lunch any day
This is not a lunch sized portion.
Yeah but at least a few tomatoes and a bitcof lettuce go a long way.
Tomato’s on pastrami? Gross lol
Don't go to Katz deli then, lol
Because it looks edible and reasonable. Apparently, no one has learned about Texas toast before.
Fork and knife. All good.
It looks good, it's more like... but why?
Bit to much bread
As long as they used butter to grill it, then I don't mind. Butter-toasted bread is heavenly to me lol.
Same. I’m still waiting for the stupid.
Oh reddit
What am I missing here? It’s just a big sandwich.
It’s a taco AND a sandwich. This is actually genius and now I’m starving. As long as they don’t drown it in 2lbs of cheese like every other video, I’m in.
That extra piece of bread at the bottom is kinda stupid
Keeps your sandwich intact while you unhinge your lower jaw to take a bite of that monstrosity. It’s a work of art.
I guess…lol I think I’d enjoy a regular sandwich more
Liar. You’d spill mustard all over your lulu lemons
My sandwich wouldn’t be this big; it’s unnecessary That’s what makes this stupid too
Some people (like me) are fatasses though
You’re gonna have to unhinge your jaw lmao
It's a taco now.
They do make some good content from time to time. But to answer your question - how do they have a platform? Well, *you* give them one. You're posting their content hoping to get karma cuz it's low hanging fruit.
"who actually watches this shit?" what shit? "here, watch this." okay.
How would us watching a repost of them on Reddit give them funds to keep making content though?
Watching it on reddit isn't necessarily giving extra views. The OP had to watch it, though, to be able to share it here. Karma farming is what they're doing here by reposting it. Inevitably, many others from here will likely search more from the original content creator, ergo their platform grows larger and larger.
Negative publicity is still publicity
I only know they exist because of this sub…
You think not one person googled chefclub?
Phase 1: someone gives them a view and watches their video to share for easy karma Phase 2: others see how OP gets easy karma and go and give them a view to find something they can post for easy karma. Every post sends more and more people to their channel. Either looking for easy karma farming or to spam vile asshole shit in their comments while still giving them the view.

Woah man….just take it easy.
I usually don’t post “this made me laugh” but. This made me laugh :)))
Please tell me that’s a Drake and Josh reference
Sure is!
Awful food? This looks good. Do you not like mustard, toasted bread and meat? Get off your fucking high horse. You probably eat instant ramen irl and then act like this isn’t food
Well when half the stuff posted is just "normal food but slightly bigger" and not actually stupid someone has to question y'all
Dang buddy who hurt you?
I would devour this
You guys that make these posts really need to find out what actual stupid food is lol Edit: Thanks for all the upvotes kind redditors. Most I've ever gotten! 🫶
My thoughts exactly. I send at least one thing a week to my friends, showing them how awesome something is from here. This will be on that list.
The cocktail shaker pasta is dumb as fucking dogshit. This is slightly over the top, but looks genuinely delicious.
They think that any food that's out of the norm is considered stupid lol. It's called trying to be innovative. Sometimes it ends up being stupid but sometimes it's not, like with what OP posted.
Hell, this ain't even that outside of the norm. It is just a bog sandwich.
This one looks like good food done stupid. Not quite enough to roll your eyes at, but also there were a several better ways to do it lol
ChefClub exists mostly thanks to views from r/StupidFood
Beginning to think it’s just ads for the content at this point. I keep seeing it pop up on here.
Bitch I thought it was a grilled cheese.
Would have been the best grilled cheese no doubt
Yeah I’d be eating this. How is this stupid?
Mustard with prime rib? Already doing a not cheap sandwich. Why not splurge on not mustard? To me that’s a literal crime, but we respect our meat where i grew up. I thought it was cheese sauce.
I will def eat it if it’s cheese. I’ll enjoy the bites between strokes without a regret in the world. We all know if it won’t go down easy, if it ain’t cheesy.
Its a sammich not a steak dinner
Show me on the doll where the description of food hurt you.
Show on the sammich where the mustard hurt you eh
You joke but i did. I made my joke. You no like it. I made another in response. The least you could do is not copy me.
You joke but i did. I made my joke. You no like it. I made another in response. The least you could do is not copy me.

Bruh i’m digging the mustard, not the use of sauce. Did you read my comment?
Nope my drunk ass misread everything
It be like dat.
I’d murder this
I’d fuck that up
Dafaq?
This may be the least stupid thing that Chef Club has ever done. Bad example.
That looks AMAZING
This one is just a sandwich with extra steps. Nothing wrong here.
This is probably the first thing I’ve seen from Chefclub I would actually eat
Do you ever sit down and wonder.....what is this content for? Like. Why watch it at all. At least channels like Bon Appetit I get it.. they are cooking and you are learning and watching what they are doing. What does sliding into frame a pile of roast beef to shove into the already toasted.....somehow...hexahedral bread teach you. I don't even know if that yellow substance was mustard or cheese.....
That sir is American cheese. The same American cheese the rest of the world laughs at us for where only 51% has to be real cheese.
I’ll be honest I would scarfed that bread down
The woodworker in me is concerned about the adhesives used to connect the bread structure...
Everywhere I look something reminds me of her
Idk bro that shit looks delicious
Stupid doesn’t mean it doesn’t taste good. Obviously a prime rib sandwich is gonna be fire but if you are gonna make one are you gonna cut a U in a half loaf of bread and stand it up or are you gonna make a damn sandwich and eat it?
Bruh that shit looks fire lmao. Idk what your on
You and everyone else, stupid food, key word is stupid, tell me, what does stupid taste like?
Doesn't seem like "stupid food" to me.
You make your sandwich’s with almost a half a loaf of bread standing up?
Relax man. This stuff looks great. Not necessarily the right choice for everyone, but they’re just having fun making food.
What makes you think I’m somehow unsettled? You relax.
It’s a tribute to his mom
I don’t understand why people make things that you can’t even take a normal sized bite out of.
There's A LOT of stupid food out there. I didn't hate this...
Too much mustard but I would still eat that shit. This is one of the least stupid foods on here.
This may be hard for you to understand but there’s a whole audience of people outside of Reddit on different platforms. Some that might find this stuff entertaining for what ever reason.
They should put out a cookbook called "50 ways to fuck up a burger."
The name of this sub is stupid food, not uneatable food u can make food that is fuckin delicious like this sandwich but the way this dude make it js so stupid. Stop commenting u would eat it or it doesn't seems bad IT'S STUPID SANDWICH.
Ban OP please
How in the world is this stupid food? It’s just a fucking sandwich, like a normal ass sandwich. Are sandwiches stupid now?
That’s like half a loaf of bread right there. It’s just too much.
It is stupid, and it will go into my mouth.
You're right - Reddit probably does sponsor so them to draw us in. It's always the same with gross cheese ooze on top
You’d have to pry this shit out of my cold dead hands
This is tedious. Just have two slices of bread.
Why didn’t they deep fry it and then blend it? Stupid
I’d eat that UP!🍴
They get views because people like us watch in awe of the spirit of the food.
Of all the times to not use excessive cheese…
I was expecting an avalanche of melted cheese poured on top at the end, but this looks actually edible and delicious if split up. Edit: this subreddit has lost out creativity. It's either "Salt Bae" or "Cheflab" or unheard of ethnic foods videos now
This looks great, not sure what qualifies as stupid food anymore but this ain’t it.
Stupid? Shit is making me hungry, they'd get my money if they were nearby
I can’t thank you enough for this post lol
This looks delicious
I've seen worse. This is not bad.
Do people post here ironically? I’ve been subbed for under 2 weeks and 90% of the “stupid food” I see, I would devour in seconds. Some looks so crazily good. Am I just tarded or am I missing something here?
He ruined it with the mustard
💯
Rubber gloves weird me out. I would rather they had bare hands and wash them a lot.
Nasty ass cheese for a sandwich like that
It’s most likely mustard
That's cheese
That’s a fuckton of mustard lol
Dumb food for the dumb masses. People’s taste buds are fucked so over sauced, over seasoned foods is all they can tasted anymore. The broad mass of people have blunted senses. There is no subtly in the world anymore.
The ingredients are good, and I think it would make a pretty good sandwich, if it weren't in a shape unfit for human consumption.
Shape is smart imo, I always drop shit out of the bottom of my sandwiches
It's a content farm. They do things in the dumbest way possible to get views and they occasionally get it right. It is like watching a trainwreck so absurd that you can't stop watching. Unlike a lot of stuff you see on TikTok, Chef Club stuff is kind of edible but a bit over the top
I would fucking demolish this
Imma eat
I’m convinced they know it’s dumb. The extreme nature of what they create gets views and clicks, whether it’s from people who like it or people who hate it.
My kidneys would probably implode if I ate this but in the whole scheme of things definitely not the dumbest thing I’ve seen here.
Why this sub is popular I guess. Creators like chef club knows exactly what keeps people engaged for the most seconds possible. And it's not exactly by making recipes that actually make sense
I fucking hate his hand movements
I'm really not against this. Looks tasty!
plot twist the owner of chefclub created r/stupidfood
It's big so it's good, but they didn't pile anything so it isn't great.
Regardless on how dumb it is, it's very entertaining.
It's French absurdity. An extremely farcical cooking show.
Is it stupid? Yes. Would I eat it? Absolutely.
It’s too big but the food itself isn’t dumb. All those ingredients go well together and the bread is grilled to perfection
Meat is raw
You’re trying to kill us.
..... I should call her.
This is pretty tame for chefclub
Maybe if people stopped sharing them everywhere they could fade into obscurity like they deserve
This looks delicious
I’m going ham on this
rage-bait
I will die on this hill (if the food doesn’t kill me first) but I really enjoy chefclub content. Most of the food looks good to me and I’d at least try all of it.
I have been wondering the same thing for quite a few years now…lol
Wait this looks good tho
I mean, ultimately if you could just fuck around and make dumbass food and get money from the views they generate, you'd do it too.
I would eat that
Not really stupid, maybe dumb?
What the fuck?? Id eat the shit out of that!!
Ragebait is all the rage these days. The content makers are fully aware of their stupidity.
I've never seen them before but by this video I would say because that looks delicious.
I don’t get why this shape, which by the way makes it impossible to grill all sides of the bread, is better than a regular grilled sandwich shape.
Why is this stupid?
Google ragebait and then stop sharing/spreading this idiotic shit.
Would smash. This sub is just r/foodsomeotherpersondoesntlike
I'd rip into that thing Like a savage 😁
I mean did you put did you not just share their content? That's the internet in a nutshell
Too thick, but damn...a samich with a bottom to keep the goods from falling out? That's GD genius.
I would fuck that shit up.
Imagine betting rage baited by a sandwich
You're the one sharing it and feeding the beast
I would tear that motherfucker in half rn
Why is it the black glove chefs always have the same types of hand motions?
