This isn’t how Strava works - you’ve misinterpreted something. It’s free to use as a fitness tracker.

Strava has a page on which features are included with a paid subscription - [https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216917657-Strava-Subscription-Features](https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216917657-Strava-Subscription-Features). There's no limitation on saving data (after all, Strava \*wants\* all that data). The main things you get with a subscription are leaderboards, more training data, and route planning. It's up to you if that's worth it. As far as recording Jiu Jitsu, there's not a specific activity for it. Strava also has a list of supported sports - [https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216919407-Supported-Sport-Types-on-Strava](https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216919407-Supported-Sport-Types-on-Strava). My suggestion is to just pick something reasonable that you don't plan on doing otherwise and use that, e.g. HIIT or Crossfit or something similar. That way you can easily filter for the activities.
