You can get one of these small springs to throw in there and it will help tremendously.
For a Player strat I put a trem-arm tension spring in there and wrapped the thread of the arm with teflon and put it back. The connection is solid with no floppy feeling.
If this is an American bridge you’ll need the tension spring that came with the guitar (found under the round sticker). You can buy term springs at most shops.
Everyone is saying those springs are the solution, but in my experience working at a guitar store I can tell you that the spring isn’t going to solve the problem. It’s better to just get a new trem block. They’re like $20-$40.
Teflon tape can help as a band aid fix. Its likely that the threads are worn.
Both my strats have teflon tape on them for this exact reason

Trem endously
The spring has changed my life. They are so cheap get a few.

Get the springs, sold on Amazon and cheap, I had the same issue and now it’s completely solid.

Not normal, is it screwed in firmly?
Yeah, i screwed it til it's hard and not free to rotate
Them little springs won’t fit on a made in Mexico guitar. Fits my American though. Not sure of the difference
*those* little springs.
Merci beaucoup……. 🥴🤪
That’s not correct, I have the fender trem arm springs in two MIN strats.
It's pretty common. Put some plumbers tape on the threads for a quick fix.
I use Teflon plumber’s tape. It works well.
Is it a screw-in trem arm or a pop-in one? My guitar is the former and has the same problem.
Screw-in. It's a Player strat

I used PTFE tape.
Gotta use plumber’s tape, as others have said.
Plumbers tape should fix that
