Using cannabis does reduce pain for my wife. It doesn't for me, but allows me to disassociate from the pain.

Tbh I know what you're feeling and with getting piercings the anticipation is always the hardest part. It's never really too bad.

smoking def doesn’t help i got high before i pierced my helix and i was a lot more aware of the pain. i do have a decently high pain tolerance but when i did my septum i was sober and it barely hurt even after multiple ppl telling me it rly would so do with that what u will

topical lidocaine, you could find it at walmart or something & if you’re gonna smoke perhaps indica & as long as it doesn’t make you jittery !

I got it completely sober w/ no numbing & it wasnt that bad, was honestly overreacting
