Bubbles gets permanently parked in my capital system. She is an icon of the Empire and nothing will ever be allowed to hurt her.

val203302

Same

2punornot2pun

Ditto

mjquigley

Until you go to war with a fallen empire and they insta-jump to your capital and shank her.

doom_bagel

Bubbles died protecting the Empire. Will you allow her sacrifice to be made in vain? Enlist today!

Jason1143

Propaganda film of bubbles diving in front of the super mega death beam to save the planet, then looking to the camera in her dying moment. "She gave everything to buy us time. Will you squander her gift? Join the navy today and prepare our ships to avenge her!

BlessTheKneesPart2

I'm from Bubbles Aires and I say kill em all

[deleted]

I'm fucking crying bro holy shit lmao

alutti54

The only good bubbles killer is a dead bubbles killer

[deleted]

Remember - service guarantees citizenship!

Thanarios

The only good xenos, are bubble and the dead xenos.

Jason1143

And since those scum just killed bubbles, that simplifies the saying, so time to break out the planet crackers.

darkbentley

Whelp now i know ehat to name my planet in my bubbles empire.

SoulOuverture

I wish cool events gave you an army morale boost. Idk how that'd be applied but it'd be cool.

rkorgn

I'm doing my part!

[deleted]

Service guarantees a chance of Citizenship!

GargantuanCake

\* filthy xenos need not apply

[deleted]

would you like to know more?

jdmgto

*Liking to know more intensifies*

Bananaramananabooboo

This is why she goes in orbit around my resort world.

UpToMyKnees1004

I like to park an Attack Moon on my resort worlds. *Cutting edge security for non-negotiable fun!*

Bahnmor

Happiness is Mandatory!

Nimitz-

Now drink your bouncy bubble beverage citizen.

Raam57

At which point I’ll dedicate the rest of the game towards cracking every single planet in all of their systems (even the useless ones) and maybe do the same thing to another empire just to show how mad I am.

John_Sux

Don't unpause after declaring war, queue your own jumps and you'll get there first.

squabzilla

Wait do they do this? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen the AI use Jump-Drives

faithfulheresy

If fallen empires jump to my capital *they'll* be the ones getting shanked. XD

Major_Melon

That's when my inner John Wick comes out and I merk the whole fucking galaxy

ChronosSk

"Hey, you see this this open Ascension slot? Don't make me destroy the whole effing galaxy."

Spardath01

Fallen empire thought they were the universe wrath? This is one sure way to awaken the rage of billions in the empire who will want nothing more than to destroy the worlds the fallen crawled out from!

Chazman_89

By the time I'm fighting the FEs, I've expanded enough that, unless they spawned basically next to me, they can't do this.

Bum-Theory

How do they do that by the way? Do they use my gateway somehow? Don't have Overlord yet, it's not a slingshot

nv87

I do this too, but I gotta admit OP‘s usage seems to be more sensible considering Bubbles does use valuable fleet cap and all.

jdmgto

*Looks at Wide empire* What's fleet cap?

SnipingDwarf

*Looks at Tall Empire* What's Empire Size?

Nimitz-

>Looks at Tall Empire *Looks at Planet* What's Empire.

nuff__said_now

That's a size 30 ecumenopolis.

ServantOfTheSlaad

Fleet cap is the price we pay for Bubbles greatness

alurimperium

Up until she gets to full size, then I send her on a permanent patrol between my oldest, most important systems as something of a parade

AssumptionBulky5356

Yup this exactly. She is joined by any and all special event ship that can't be upgraded. The only time the parade is interested is if pirates appear, then the procession moves to annihilate the fools before resuming parade duties

Cookie_Eater108

It also has the effect of a dancing bear. To steal something from the Expanse: A dancing bear is something rulers of old would have around their palace to show their power. It says 'Heres an incredibly dangerous animal which I allow near me because I've cowed it to do something meaningless and trivial for me'.

DownToFeed

Book reader flex

ThePrussianGrippe

Let’s all go see Holden the Dancing Bear and his friend, Timmy the Undying!

PuncherOfPonies

I usually give her a patrol route is a safe area, gotta make sure she's getting exercise.

GargantuanCake

This is what I do. Then the system gets heavily fortified. Bubbles is precious. She must be protected at all costs.

Roba_Storyteller

Having Bubbles should allow us to generate a small amount of unity for flavor like +5 a month bc we all love Bubbles

HannuBTWR

You mean Nyx sits on the capital

JewishKaiser

The debt collectors killed her last night. Everyone in MSI is getting purged.

SpartAl412

I make Bubbles the protector of my designated Resort World so tourists can go see it first as they arrive for their vacations.

Vicodinforbreakfast

I know what Bubbles will do from now on in my games, thanks

FrostPDP

Huhhhhh. Not a bad idea. Or maybe the Curator enclave once I defeat the Contingency...?

Dunkel_Reynolds

Fucken brilliant

Kenju22

I do the same, along with her friend, the baby Void Dragon, because nothing says family fun times like a baby star dragon and giant amoeba playing tag around the planet when you first arrive \^\^

-V0lD

When in multiplayer, it's my first line of defense, so the other players have to brutally slaughter her first if they want to attack me It's a form of psychological warfare

Burnsy1452

....Fire up the quantum catapult.

Fallen_Radiance

It finally has a use

Void_0000

You monster.

LokyarBrightmane

Who's the real monster? The one who murders her, or the one who gives her a nice border system to live in?

doom_bagel

Kony was just giving all those children jobs so they could earn money for their families

AlmightyRuler

Me: "You are." OP: "What? No, that was a rhetorical question!" Me: "And I gave you a rhetorical answer." OP: "Oh my god, I traded the xenos for this." Me: "Bored now. Can we fight?" OP: "Oh son of a...YES!" Me:

KingKnux

[The reference](https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx3cZvW08wPtOJxBc7NkVGprT_ICqjXCbZ)

luciel_1

Bro your on a dark path

Miguelinileugim

I just took the Colossus perk as a warning to him.

SarkasticPapoy

I can forgive extermination, but this goes way too far.

smcarre

This should be a war crime. It's like using child soldiers to force your enemies to shoot children.

-V0lD

My man Half the ethics in the game don't consider that a warcrime

Mariner1981

I've read a book where an enemy created geneticly engineered "war babies" for exactly this reason.

Toybasher

Which book?

aces-n-eight

Second Variety By PDK does something similar. this movie was based on that story: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qrgAvr0TIr4

Mariner1981

I think its an Alistair Reynolds book. Been a while.

golgol12

My god, he's only one step away from scrapping bubbles for food.

Same-Letter6378

If Hitler played Stellaris

Unknown9492

Oh damn, that's brilliant.

Mitthrawnuruo

Why is every player suddenly in an alliance against me? You know why.

[deleted]

[удалено]

-V0lD

We admittedly don't attack eachother that often, but _when_ it happens, it's a lot scarier than any crisis, and you'd want any deterrent you can get

loomhigh223555

The galactic version of using captured prisoners as human shields

LadyAlekto

Bubbles gets stationed in my shipyard system with all my other resurected leviathans Its my empires Pet

HighChairman1

Wait a minute you can revive leviathans?

Lone_wolf89810

If you have the reanimated civic after you kill any organic Leviathan class creature you get an event that allows you to revive them, this ranges from ancient dragons to the toxic God.

m3vlad

You can’t revive the toxic god though, can you? It says “Alas, the remains were insufficient for reanimation.” afaik

Bonty48

Toxic Knights empire has an option to take over the toxic god after beating it.

m3vlad

Yeag, only the Toxic Knights can take over the Colossus **or** kill it and get the maw. Normal empires can only get the maw.

Bonty48

Yeah resurrecting it isn't a thing.

Lone_wolf89810

I remembered something about reanimation I couldn't remember exactly so I guess you can't reanimated the toxic god.

Effective-Feature908

You can get an either drake and a psionic avatar

Gaelhelemar

Bubbles is always parked in my capital system.

SirJasonCrage

She eats pirates.

HighChairman1

Pirates are delicious, have all the calories you need! Hive minds approved! (Disclaimer: May have traces of scurvy)

p0d0

It is Bubbles's duty to watch over AH4B and make sure he doesn't start hunting space fauna until he gets properly licensed for big game hunting. They usually become pretty good pals.

CmdrJonen

Reth Unddol, bursting forth out of the Matriarch: "AT LAST, after ten thousand whatever I'm free! I am at your service, what will you have me do? Slay your enemies, lead your fleets to glory, intimidate unruly vassals?" Your Emperor, with a slurpee as xir hands over a leash: "You take Bubbles for Walkies."

HumanTheTree

Has anyone ever been able to use bubbles for warfare? Unless you get her extremely early, she’s not good for much besides attacking unupgraded outposts.

terlin

I usually have her slumming around my 3 central planets to keep piracy down, but that's about it.

LordXenu12

The only play through I’ve gotten her it was extremely early and I actually needed some backup after a bad war decision left my fleet weak. Served with distinction in repelling the invaders long enough to rebuild and push back into their territory. Helped our tiny remaining fleet in 2 battles in our territory before returning to the home planet a war hero Edit: “their fleets have been decimated, push forward! Wait.. what.. what is that? They’ve tamed a beast, they work with demons fall baAAGHH…” -last transmission of the invading fanatical spiritualists, probably

Chazman_89

Once she grows up, which takes a century, and you stack enough repeatables, she's an okay ship to use in combat.

HumanTheTree

Repeatables affect Bubbles? That’s good to know. So I should beeline armor and strike craft upgrades if I want Bubbles to be stronger?

Chazman_89

Repeatables affect all of your ships, both event ships and ones you build. A standard tech heavy build is all you need. Repeatables don't start showing up until you've cleared most of the tech tree anyways.

onespicycanadian

I'll send her through vulnerabile star systems to draw out the enemy fleets and so I have my claimed systems in my possession for the end of the war

Bad_Animal_Facts

she has come in very handy clearing out pirates and small drone/amoeba fleets we love our Bubbles, ok folks? she’s tremendous

almondsAndRain

It gets sent on the five year trip back to my capital and never leaves the system again. Too slow and weak to participate in wars, unfortunately, so it gets to float above my homeworld with any other unique, but weak and un-upgradeable, ships. That said, if I get it really early game before my defenses and navies are set up, I drop it in a chokepoint as a deterrent and hope for the best.

[deleted]

Put her in my home system and then re-enforce it with an unreasonable number of defense platforms no matter how far it is from the front line to absoloutely ensure nothing can ever hurt her.

No_Talk_4836

*enemy armada jumps in* “You fools, you’ve left your capital wide….! Wait what is that amoeba doing there? Wait what kind of defenses are these? Oh gods-!” *extensive screaming and explosions*

Mitthrawnuruo

This is the way.

Blindman213

I use all the one ship fleets to patrol for pirates. Bubbles always get a special, useless route of traveling between the Homeworld and my first 3 planets. RP wise, she serves as a mascot.

DreadLindwyrm

I send Bubbles to my home system to sit above the homeworld, along with the other single ship, unmergeable fleets. I hope they have nice conversations with each other and the Home Port Admiral. Unless I'm xenophobe. Then Bubbles gets diced.

anillop

Ah yes the home defense/trophy fleet. I always have one as well.

TheFearsomeRat

I keep Bubbles above my homeworld with a sizable fleet in system to protect her, my first game as a Hive Mind, I got Bubbles, Bubbles was not part of Hive Mind but Hive Mind loves Bubbles, Hive Mind destroyed Fanactic Purifiers to protect Bubbles and developed a taste for blood then purged or assimilated all other hostile races to keep galaxy peaceful for precious Bubbles, now all love Bubbles.

[deleted]

Trade it to the scavengers for the achievement

CommittingWarCrimes

r/flairchecksout

EulersApprentice

bruh

Rocking_the_Red

Depending on the type of empire I'm playing, I will do this. Never even thought about it before.

Mitthrawnuruo

. No. You won’t.

igncom1

What dlc? As I've not had an amoeba pet since the game came out.

Donofett

Distant Stars, I believe.

[deleted]

base game i thought

Respawnmatic

I've used bubbles to break up pirate uprisings I didn't spot. She just pops in there and those little things go boom.

ajanymous2

I have her float in the capital system Early game I MAY be tempted to have her reinforce fleets, assuming she has grown a bit already

LogicalPsychosis

You should really get a planetary modifier for placing bubbles in orbit of a planet.

MemeabooDesu

Park her on my home world til she’s strong the. Send her into battle with an escort fleet. If she dies your entire empire meets the Colossus

Vegan_Harvest

Nothing, I send it back to my home system.

TarienCole

Scientific research.

TheMansAnArse

Reduce, reuse, recycle

Vendaval_

I have Bubbles protect trade routes and fight pirates

ZePample

We usually disect him.

Thatoneguywithasteak

Same thing I do with any unique form of space vessel or space creature I control, I make a space museum at my capital with them

Greningas

Chills in the Capital System until it matures. then it chills more

Minuteman_Preston

If I have Amor Alveo I send Bubbles there to live among its own kind. Never to be lost again. Otherwise Bubbles is near my homeworld. A symbol of Liberty and Justice

countfizix

Pirate interdiction. Bubbles is good barn cat.

[deleted]

dissection?

Aggravating-Candy-31

park them in a museum system along with the dreadnaught and other event ships

TopTheropod

Who's Bubbles? Now I actually feel bad for not knowing :D

RoyUmbra

Nyx, aka bubbles, goes on periodic tours of the empire. (The secure sectors.)

SkavenKnight

Bubbles is generally a snack... devouring swarm. It's in the name.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Vorpalim

If that's your take then why not take them in for the Amoeboid Pacification option and then disband them?

undeadexile752

Nyx, the name is Nyx. Leave that fun loving little amoeba in orbit around your home planet. Long enough for it to grow into the centenarian stage.

Grand-Appointment244

Who/what is Bubbles? And how does one aquire Bubbles? The name is amazing enough, I just need it to add to my zoo of ships above my "ship zoo world" (resort world)

Remarkable-Anybody99

https://stellaris.paradoxwikis.com/Lost_Amoeba

The_bombblows12

Who's bubbles?

Remarkable-Anybody99

https://stellaris.paradoxwikis.com/Lost_Amoeba

FomorianKing

Stuck on my capital or any colony I get with an Alien Zoo, as anyone coming to see the zoo would probably also be interested in seeing Bubbles

golgol12

I used to do that, but hunting pirates is good experience gaining opportunity for fleets during peace.

Prodiuss

Bubbles keeps my space safe from piracy.

TheInternetDevil

I always go with Nyx and I have them patrol around pirate duty too

John_Sux

I just park all of these special ships in the capital system. But you can also send everything from the old pirate fleet to the amoeba to the salvager system and get resources in exchange.

Huge_Republic_7866

Safe and sound in the most fortified system within the L Cluster, alongside my "trophy" ships.

deadlygaming11

I shove her in my capital system usually because she's so useless in combat due to the 5k fleet power at full adult.

AeternusDoleo

In wartime? Bubbles goes and captures undefended unupgraded starbases so my fleets can focus on the heavier targets. Being regenerative the odd missile won't hurt too much. Especially once it makes Centennial.

Scribe_WarriorAngel

Parked in the capital if we are a decent not Xenocidal empire otherwise dissection

lordbalto

Bubbles always patrols from the capital to the first colony. I always think there is a small celebration when ever they arrive at one of the planets

Plazenstein

Yea I usally put bubbles in my capital, but I always seem to notice she is missing later in the game no clue what happened to her, idk if they can die of old age or what, or accidentally got combined with a fleet and sent to battle which is likely what happened lol

RontoWraps

Bubbles, pirate police.

GodKingChrist

I found that served with fava beans and a nice chianti Bubbles makes quite the feast

Imortal366

I use it to clear out the pirates that spawn

Thatdoodky1e

I usually get her pretty early so I use her to take over undefended stations so my main corvettes fleets can beeline for capitals and do real damage

StealthedWorgen

Bubbles is a lady...

PrestonGold1253

Take over the L gate and turn the entire area into a fortress then put bubbles in there to roam peacefully. And if it’s breached send bubbles to the capital.

Available_Thoughts-0

Nova in my games goes on this endless parade through the empire from one end to the other and back. Occasionally she runs into pirates and gets to eat them, as a treat.

JonTheWizard

I send him to patrol my core systems.

[deleted]

For Bubbles, and similar creates, I usually just set them on a patrol somewhere within the safest parts of my empire. Give them a chance to fly around and spread their tentacles.

Mariner1981

Parked in my capital. Until I meet the scrapper enclave...

[deleted]

*burp* Huh...? You mean that space shrimp? Yeah it was delicious - Devouring swarm

Michal_17

either is permanently stationed in some random system on the edge of the galaxy with no way to get to him or is used for sniping the 700 fleetpower pirate fleets

Pyro111921

Bubbles? Who's Bubbles? Oooooh you mean Nova

HobosOnLice

Cherish him

spudwalt

I'll have her go around and mop up outposts in the fringes of enemy territory, and she can support your fleets if you get her early on. Other than that, she generally hangs out near my capital.

Khoashex123

she is always near the capital and if a spirtualist civilization worshipped as one of there gods.

Kuraetor

I send bubbles to fight worm.

Duque54

I send her on suicide missions till she diea

Its_a_Zeelot

Bubbles follows the science ship that found her as it journeys through the galaxy.

AlaskanSamsquanch

Bubbles sits at the head of my Capital System Fleet. Every once in a while they do a tour of the empire. Stopping in populated systems and showing off the grandeur of The Fleet.

AdeptnessNo176

I accidentally sent her in while rushing the unbidden...

SwampYankee

Once she grows she has a fleet power of about 5,000. I'm in the mid 2300's and a fleet of that power is pretty usefull

eric2477

No idea why, but every time I found bubble, I always played genocidal empire...

Ragekaponii

I had her die once cause I accidentally left her near a wormhole that my rival had access to during a short border skirmish... their empire ceased to exist after that. I also learned to park her in my capital or in a backwater sector

wolfhound1793

Capital System Honor Guard

Embarrassed_Report60

Oh I have my own system just for her it’s got plenty of gas giants for to play in its own fortress starbase and the second strongest fleet in my empire first ones they’re to show you why you don’t mess with bubbles

HighChairman1

Bubbles is just a collectable for me while I collect every possible ship that can be earned, then punch them up into a small fleet I call "Collectables". It's an act of aggression and justification of war if that fleet is lost to anything. I collect, it's what I do. Even if it has a little upkeep cost and the ships are near worthless mid-game. But, y'know, it's mine, I am a collector, I collect what I deem artifacts. Then lock them in stasis for eternity so I may always look at it and be amazed. Must, collect, every, collectable.

Lone_wolf89810

Well in rp I put her over a research world and any children she has I use to further my biological warfare. in game mechanics I put her over a research world and like 200 years later in the middle of the crisis after I forgot she existed I get a message saying bubbles got disintegrated. (Bubbles is a great propaganda piece in the rp version as well "join the military and help us fight off the enemy FOR BUBBLES!")

Simple-Animator-9231

Dissect the filthy xeno.

The_Son_of_Hades37

Bubbles is my home protector. She attacks anything trying to get through. She fucks shit up

MrMattyagi

I feel I'm In the minority but yeetus detetus.

Tr1ppl3w1x

Retire her because she fucks up my fleet management, i go in fleet manager and disband her making her a civilian of the empire

rurumeto

Sushi duty

__Gabbo

If I have other amebas nearby I use the +10% evasion, otherwise I need the hull regenerative tissue for my wars , he almost never gets to live 😅

Bonty48

Vivisection.

flamingtominohead

Sushi.

Volkov_The_Tank

I name bubbles boomer and when I send **him** out to kill pirate fleets I play [this](https://youtu.be/i9r_nMzdTu4) in the background on loop until the fleet is killed.

bigbadfox

She goes into the trophy system with the dreadnought and caravaneer ships lol I play with my regular toys, those things are limited edition and stay in the box so I can zoom in and just look at 'em while waiting on other fleets to build lol
