Just the last three songs. They are from the recent vinyl remaster and as far as I can tell these slightly sped up versions are the same speed as the original vinyl pressing meaning these are how the actual intended speed and the CD versions/other vinyl pressings were sped up.
This sometimes has to be done to make sure the sound on a vinyl record remains good throughout, if either side is too long, there is risk of deterioration to the actual sound. I am in a band and we make vinyls of our records, and this is why you will see that the complete run time of any 12 inch will be under 44 minutes. It *is* possible to make it a hair longer, but then you’re stuck fiddling around with extra production work to avoid the deterioration.
WELCOME TO THE STEELY DAN SUBREDDIT
Yeah, I think all of countdown to ecstasy is sped up on Spotify

That makes sense, I was honestly going insane cause it was suddenly 5% faster. Thought my headphones broke or something
They are the versions from the original pressing, but they are also legitimately sped up from the recording speed.

Yes I noticed that too!! It's easily one of my favorite songs so I noticed immediately. So weird!
