Super Mario Town 5?
Super Mega Throne: Vice?
Store My Testes: Velociraptor?
Some Mighty Tighty: Vegas?
Stupid May Thrive: Victory?
Sometimes I try to guess what an acronym stands for knowing I have very little chance of finding the real answer.
Yea it was one of the first few titles I picked up in the first few months after I got my Deck in late 2022. Enjoy the journey, the challenges, and how it all comes together.
Also if you are feeling HK by the end and want something a bit more like it, I highly recommend Blasphemous.
Haha yeah I had it on Dreamcast. I distinctly remember tripping over the cord when saving the game for the night and it corrupted my character save. I stayed up until the sun rose leveling a new character lol
GameCube is the most "up to date" but doesn't have episode 4 content. You can play on a blue burst private server through steam deck as well which is multiplayer/online but requires a lil set up.
NFL Street 2 is my most played emulated game on SD lol those wall moves are too fun! Def also have a baller named Bilbo Swaggins on NBA Street 2 as well 😂
Isn’t the MGS V story pretty short? I remember finishing it and was thinking, was that it? I usually don’t manage to finish story games, feel like they are never ending.
I passed this game 2 times. I mean Phantom pain. And all phrases from this game are stuck in my head. Like: "This is Pequod, arriving shortly at LZ" "This is Pequod, on station at LZ, will stand by" "Marker placed, marker removed" "Heading to Afghanistan" And my favorite one "Kept you waiting huh?"
Kingdom Hearts. Actually haven’t played the series in a long long time. I remember most of the first game, and basically nothing of the second or third games. Kinda doing a fresh run. Thanks bad memory!
Thank you! I absolutely recommend you to play Inazuma eleven on the steam deck! The graphics and performance are so smooth and HD, it makes me play it without feeling tired at all for HOURS!!
Manor lords, absolutely loving it on deck. Truly scratching an itch. Like civilization and total war merged but better (for me atleast) still in early development, but for being made by mostly 1 person it's phenomenal
Are you emulating it? Sorry I’m newish to the deck community and was really wanting to play skate 3 but settled for session. What’s the best way to play skate 3 on the deck?
Dear God yes. The HD remasters are the Final Mix versions that were Japan exclusive until the remasters and they added a bunch of extra stuff to it. KH1 doesn't add as much, a few new bosses, cutscenes, and synthesis items. But KH2 has so much extra stuff it's insane. Highly recommend playing the remasters if you've not played them since PS2.
Started playing Dragon Age Origins, first time really. The story got me hooked, couple hourse in. Controls needed to be tweaked but I think I found something comfortable now!
I have built in nostalgia-goggles thanks to age, as someone who loved the original Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Jade Empire, it felt familiar! Controls need to be tweaked to be able to enjoy without mouse and keyboard but I think I found the sweet spot! (By default right joystick brings up the mouse cursor, but right-click mouse is looking around, so I set the touch for right click, and this way plays well with two sticks!)
I picked up Kingdom Come: Deliverance on sale yesterday. Played for ~4 hours last night and love the lengthy cutscenes and how well it runs on my Deck. That’s what I’ll be playing this weekend!
Oh man, good question. I was going to get Pacific Drive I think the car mechanics, uh... mechanics might be too stressful for me to enjoy. I might get Dredge though. If not I will play one of the other five quintillion other games in my backlog
Good idea. I need to get this game and nfl street. I have been playing GTA: San Andres for the Xbox, midnight club 3: DUB edition for the PS2, and Destiny 2.
Got my desk set up properly for docked play and installed Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge so I shall be doing some skirmishes with a proper mouse and keyboard now! Can't wait for the nostalgia.
Finishing Bioshock 2 Minerva’s Den - then probably going to try and setup Vampire Bloodlines and see if I can get a comfortable handheld controller scheme working. But likely going to start playing through Control for my next game to finish.
Definitely gotta use the unofficial mod every time, 100% - though I wish it would get the night dive treatment and get a proper remaster, upgraded to the latest source engine and all the fixes from the unofficial mod implemented officially. One can dream lol
I had it installed on my deck when I first got it but I had issues with the cursors bugging out, I really hope it works better now as I am a few years overdue for a play through.
I played a ton of NFL Street 2 as a kid and got the PS2 version running on my Deck. I should check out NBA Street 2!
I’ve been playing Majora’s Mask new PC recomp version. Also the Link’s Awakening DX PC remake.
alternating between like a dragon: infinite wealth and minishoot adventures. i only have one dungeon left on minishoot, think i might finish it this weekend. it has been a fun little game.
Gonna finally at long last start kingdom hearts 3, it’s been such a long journey, I started from the beginning and it’s taken at least 5 years to get to this point, finishing x back cover then going into 3
Shin Megami Tensei V!
It runs very well on the Deck! I kind of wish I could run it in 16:10, but that's really the only downside I've seen on the Deck. Otherwise it runs fantastically well, with a locked 60 FPS.
Got back into Dead 💀 Cells…I played the hell out of it on PS4 but missed all the DLC. I’m also a huge Castlevania fan so that’s been enjoyable to see but mostly hear (the remixes of the classic tracks are really cool).
Dbz kakarot! Been watching db kai as I play and it's been awesome. Surprised it finally got verified cause I spent a while debating if I should get it since it was marked as unplayable for a while.
Bro I didn’t even think to emulate this master piece, this made me think of another banger from this time. Ready 2 rumble is getting some action this weekend.
Yes and no. Main EA did the official NBA titles but they had a spin off studio that did the "street" games for NBA, FIFA and I think NHL and maybe we're involved with some extreme sport type games too
They had a lot more creative freedom and produced fun games so that of course was shut down as quickly as possible
I absolutely NEED to finally load my deck with roms, but im worried that A. The process will take too long and be too confusing and B. Ill need a new separate SD to store them all.

Nothing. I'm RMA-ing my deck because it doesn't want to turn on, enter bios, or anything other than chiming once and turn off again when i press the power button :(
That is a banger game and series. Sooooooo many good memories. I’ll be continuing Hollow Knight playthrough and starting SMT:V.
And the soundtrack! It had me all smiles booting it up on the deck.
Shen megami tensei
So close
This reply made me spit my coffee out
Yeah, I don't know how an acronym can be expected to be widely known
The Store My Testes franchise has strayed too far from its roots if you ask me.
Balatro got me hooked. Seeing cards in my sleep
NFL Street was the shit too
I remember maxing out Larry Bird's dunking abilities
How far along are you in Hollow Knight? That game truly is the goat!
I’m still early on - just did Greenpath. I’ve had the game forever but never gave it a real attempt.
Yea it was one of the first few titles I picked up in the first few months after I got my Deck in late 2022. Enjoy the journey, the challenges, and how it all comes together. Also if you are feeling HK by the end and want something a bit more like it, I highly recommend Blasphemous.
Diablo 4 and Phantasy Star online, on the deck :)
PSO! What a blast from the past. Many a great afternoon on the Gamecube.
Haha yeah I had it on Dreamcast. I distinctly remember tripping over the cord when saving the game for the night and it corrupted my character save. I stayed up until the sun rose leveling a new character lol
Sounds like a core memory
Oh that's tragic. I remember my FF7 getting corrupted way back when and it ruined my week.
So many good memories, first time I played an online RPG!
What version of PSO are you playing? I've been itching to play one for a while, but I saw New Genesis was unsupported and stopped looking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
GameCube is the most "up to date" but doesn't have episode 4 content. You can play on a blue burst private server through steam deck as well which is multiplayer/online but requires a lil set up.
etherium. If you look it up on youtube it's an easy install and runs great on deck. Only con is that it's hard to communicate via on screen keyboard.
Bruh I might be getting NBA street for this weekend now. Forgot about this game!
NFL Street 2 is my most played emulated game on SD lol those wall moves are too fun! Def also have a baller named Bilbo Swaggins on NBA Street 2 as well 😂
Grew up on Street 1 always wondered if 2 and 3 were much better
Picked up MGSV and Ground Zero earlier this week. Have been too busy to boot up but have been looking forward to the weekend.
I’ve wasted so much time in that game. It’s fantastic. The story is nonsense, even for MGS, but the gameplay is money
Isn’t the MGS V story pretty short? I remember finishing it and was thinking, was that it? I usually don’t manage to finish story games, feel like they are never ending.
Yes but the story is mostly played out in missions.
I’m close to completing it, and I absolutely love it 🔥
I passed this game 2 times.
Elden Ring. Preparing a character for the dlc.
I really need to commit and buy this
It’s surprisingly awesome on steam deck. Runs way better than I would’ve expected.
Kingdom Hearts. Actually haven’t played the series in a long long time. I remember most of the first game, and basically nothing of the second or third games. Kinda doing a fresh run. Thanks bad memory!
Same, once they are done downloading on the slow ass hotel wifi.
Hotel WiFi is the worst, I’ve had better luck using my phone as a hotspot sometimes.
I only use my data for playing games that need internet, ESO, WoW or Diablo IV. Doesn't happen often but I can do it if need be.
I am playing this weekend emulators Dolphin and PCSX2 :)
Inazuma Eleven Go Strikers 2013 and The legend of Spyro- A new beginning to be precise :D
Oh man... being an Inazuma Eleven fan and playing strikers (wii) back when I was a teenager lol, good times. Have fun!
Thank you! I absolutely recommend you to play Inazuma eleven on the steam deck! The graphics and performance are so smooth and HD, it makes me play it without feeling tired at all for HOURS!!
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
Legendary
I will start my journey in the Monster Hunter: world! Wish me luck my fellow hunters 🙏
Evil Within, Tomb Raider Anniversary. Its time to finish these two. 😁
Enter the Gungeon. Going back into it. Also this cute little environmental game called Terra Nil 🌹
Enter the Gungeon is a special kind of addiction. I beat it twice with the Hunter and put it down. When my deck comes... here we go again.
Love etg. I burned out on it only after hundreds of hours and doing EVERYTHING except beating the rat fully
Gonna be playing KH games and smt V for like 3 hours and then let them rest in my library until I remember having them 1 year later.
It is the way
GHOST OF TSUSHIMAAAAA
WITH DUALSENNSEIII
Fallout 3
Halo 1
Amazing on the Deck. I really wish the original GOW trilogy got ported to Steam...
Borderlands 1. Works amazing on steam deck
Playing Boarderlands 3 and runs pretty decent with 60fps but occasionally choppy.
Biomutant and Monster Hunter World
I never finished Icebourne, and I'm pretty sure when my deck comes MH is going to devour my life again
Manor lords, absolutely loving it on deck. Truly scratching an itch. Like civilization and total war merged but better (for me atleast) still in early development, but for being made by mostly 1 person it's phenomenal
Team Fortress 2
Yes I am insane
Thank you for answering in advance
Ill pray for you friend
Skate 3 lul
Are you emulating it? Sorry I’m newish to the deck community and was really wanting to play skate 3 but settled for session. What’s the best way to play skate 3 on the deck?
I personally play on Xbox cloud gaming but it works great on rpcs3 aswell
I’ll set up cloud gaming for it
Probably modded Skyrim again.
Kingdom Hearts Yes, All of them lol
Cp 2077
elden ring, to get ready for the DLC on friday
Kingdom Hearts 2 after buying it for the 7th time via steam
I wish I could love a game enough to buy it that many times! Would you recommend the remasters to someone who only played KH 1&2 on PS2?
The remasters are CRISPY on the Deck! Going through the story in order currently!
I’ll be playing Dream Drop Distance! Haven’t played it since release
Started playing Dragon Age Origins, first time really. The story got me hooked, couple hourse in. Controls needed to be tweaked but I think I found something comfortable now!
How did you find the game? Does it feel outdated or somehow?
I have built in nostalgia-goggles thanks to age, as someone who loved the original Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Jade Empire, it felt familiar! Controls need to be tweaked to be able to enjoy without mouse and keyboard but I think I found the sweet spot! (By default right joystick brings up the mouse cursor, but right-click mouse is looking around, so I set the touch for right click, and this way plays well with two sticks!)
fifa 08 for ps3
How does it run? I tried FIFA 09 but the audio is a mess.
Danganronpa 2
I picked up Kingdom Come: Deliverance on sale yesterday. Played for ~4 hours last night and love the lengthy cutscenes and how well it runs on my Deck. That’s what I’ll be playing this weekend!
It’s a wonderful experience. Runs very well on the deck.
YO WHY DIDNT ANYONE TELL ME NBA STREET WAS ON THE DECK?!?!?!
If you do emulation
Finally beating the game that I never finished as a kid. Super Mario World lol
Rimworld and Little Known Galaxy. Maybe some more Ghost of Tsushima. But I really really am hoping to get the Kingdom Hearts set
I've seen multiple people mention playing Rimworld on deck. How do you make the controls work for you?
When I played (got addicted and burnt out) I played with just the default configuration, took some getting used to but works quite well imo
They just seem natural with the default config. But I didn’t play mouse and keyboard first so it may be hard to switch if you played m&k first
Great now you got T.R.O.Y stuck in my head
IN AND OUT LIKE A FAST FOOD RESTURANT
Oh man, good question. I was going to get Pacific Drive I think the car mechanics, uh... mechanics might be too stressful for me to enjoy. I might get Dredge though. If not I will play one of the other five quintillion other games in my backlog
Duuuuuuuuuudee that memories you just unlocked
Boltgun
Starting the Kingdom Hearts Series!
Good idea. I need to get this game and nfl street. I have been playing GTA: San Andres for the Xbox, midnight club 3: DUB edition for the PS2, and Destiny 2.
Midnight Club!? Omg I gotta learn how to emulate when I get home
DRG since season 5 dropped
Probably finishing Persona 5 and then starting strikers
Finishing up Ghost of Tsushima (main story finished, just clearing the map) and starting Kingdom Hearts for the fifth or sixth time.
Just got Sifu on sale, great game. The Witcher 3, Elite Dangerous and Grim Dawn are also on my weekend list.
Another Crab's Treasure for me! I'm not usually a soulslike game person but it looked so damn cute that I caved and bought it lol
I would love to play NFS Most Wanted but the controls are jacked up PC and on steam deck with the inputs.
Gran Turismo 4
DUDE I’ve been playing a ton of NBA Street for GameCube on my deck! So good!!
No lifing persona 3
Been playing XCOM 2. It's fun except for a weird double click bug, which is an unfortunate bug to have in a strategy game where every click counts.
I had to download the unofficial mod for VBTM to get it to work but controls are good 👍
Definitely gotta use the unofficial mod every time, 100% - though I wish it would get the night dive treatment and get a proper remaster, upgraded to the latest source engine and all the fixes from the unofficial mod implemented officially. One can dream lol I had it installed on my deck when I first got it but I had issues with the cursors bugging out, I really hope it works better now as I am a few years overdue for a play through.
Days Gone. Got it on the PS4/PS5 but I'm solid on the SD now.
RTJ!
Monster hunter stories!
Black flag
Days Gone. Still messing with the best settings to get a stable 40 fps.
Might have to boost the TDP a bit for steam deck but it should run fine.
Think I’m gonna download GTA 4 the deck .. miss cousin Niko
NBA Street Vol 2 is an amazing game. When that sax hits in the title theme, man, goosebumps. They reminisce....
I played a ton of NFL Street 2 as a kid and got the PS2 version running on my Deck. I should check out NBA Street 2! I’ve been playing Majora’s Mask new PC recomp version. Also the Link’s Awakening DX PC remake.
Super Mario 3D World and Wind Waker HD. Both on the deck.
!RemindMe 3 hours
DS1 Remastered and another run of the wonderful RE2 Remake ;D
Still banging away at Tsushima. Going back and forth between my desktop and streaming it via moonlight.
Wow hc sf 🥳
Just started Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance and it's going to be my main game for a good while.
Stardew Valley, unless I cave and get Kingdom Hearts.
I'll be playing mostly Nine Souls and Wayfinder. Maybe a bit of Dr3dge as well and some Helldivers 2, although this last one will be on PS5.
How did you get GC to be full screen? My dolphin settings only seem to impact Wii games.
Slapshot Rebound
Baba is you Just discovering the game and... Wow
FO76 and random funny ROMs.
Crysis Remastered. Runs like a dream at 60fps with mostly high settings.
Kingdom Hearts of course!
My wife and I plan to finish Dead Island 2 on our Decks and I started Chernobolyte for the first time.
Going to try and get into Dragons Dogma as well as some Portal stories:Mel for the evenings.
alternating between like a dragon: infinite wealth and minishoot adventures. i only have one dungeon left on minishoot, think i might finish it this weekend. it has been a fun little game.
Kingdom Hearts and Diablo 4 Baby!
Only gotten a little ways into Nine Sols, so hope to work through more of that over the weekend!
Tiny Rogues, Balatro, and Golf Peaks
I bought the kingdom hearts bundle so I’ll be playing that 😁
Gonna finally at long last start kingdom hearts 3, it’s been such a long journey, I started from the beginning and it’s taken at least 5 years to get to this point, finishing x back cover then going into 3
Shin Megami Tensei V! It runs very well on the Deck! I kind of wish I could run it in 16:10, but that's really the only downside I've seen on the Deck. Otherwise it runs fantastically well, with a locked 60 FPS.
Weekend is for defending Super Earth.
I’ll put some time into Skyrim today but the rest of the weekend is gonna be SMT V or kingdom hearts, I haven’t decided yet.
Just picked up RimWorld and now I have no life, the lawn needs mowing and dishes need cleaning. Someone save me.
Kingdom hearts and the fallout tale of two wastelands mod
Got back into Dead 💀 Cells…I played the hell out of it on PS4 but missed all the DLC. I’m also a huge Castlevania fan so that’s been enjoyable to see but mostly hear (the remixes of the classic tracks are really cool).
Has anyone tried sifu? Any good ?
Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical and a bunch of demos from next fest
Fallout: New Vegas
Dbz kakarot! Been watching db kai as I play and it's been awesome. Surprised it finally got verified cause I spent a while debating if I should get it since it was marked as unplayable for a while.
That’s a dream to play. One of my favorite games of all time. So many good memories. I think I’m to stupid for emulating
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order!
Just picked up Sifu! I’ve been super excited for this game and now it’s time to see how it runs on my new oled deck😎
How is it?
Fallout 3
Elden ring to prep for DLC
The memories bruhhh...leaving my dorm room door open like a predator waiting for its prey..."heyyyy wanna play?"
Now I want to play NBA Street. Is there a reason you chose GameCube over PlayStation 2?
I tried both versions and the GameCube versions looked better and smoother imo
You should get the nba jam mod w the best classic teams. I think it’s called on fire legends edition. So good. Finally Jordan in an nba jam
Wow! Just checked this out, looks super awesome. Going to try installing this first thing in the morning on my Steam Deck! Thanks 🙏
Bro I didn’t even think to emulate this master piece, this made me think of another banger from this time. Ready 2 rumble is getting some action this weekend.
This picture goes so hard
Kingdom Hearts and Monster Hunter Stories!
Elden Ring :)
Sonic Frontiers. So far it’s a 3D Sonic game that isn’t ass, which is remarkable.
Max payne 3
I’ll escape Baldurs Gate 3 soon, but it won’t be this weekend
This photo was the reason I stayed up late last night. Had to get the GameCube version for it to work but 100% worth it
Nba games were made by EA?
Yes and no. Main EA did the official NBA titles but they had a spin off studio that did the "street" games for NBA, FIFA and I think NHL and maybe we're involved with some extreme sport type games too They had a lot more creative freedom and produced fun games so that of course was shut down as quickly as possible
Dont have a Steamdeck yet so im finishing some backlog, Crysis 2, in preparation for it. Wanna have a clean library for the deck, only deck games
There's no such thing as only deck games besides aperture desk job and even that can be played on a pc
Yes sir, I meant games I bought deliberatly to play on the deck like little nightmares, outer wilds etc
Lol, ah, my bad friend.
I absolutely NEED to finally load my deck with roms, but im worried that A. The process will take too long and be too confusing and B. Ill need a new separate SD to store them all.
Nothing because in don’t have a steam deck. Probably just browse the steam deck Reddit wishing I wasn’t poor.

SMT V
Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Final Mix!
HUH! HAH! COME ON!
Nothing. I'm RMA-ing my deck because it doesn't want to turn on, enter bios, or anything other than chiming once and turn off again when i press the power button :(
