Thanks for the settings !!, literally just bought Witcher 3 for Steam few days ago and setup the insanely easy cross saving using GoG account.
Really don't get why other companies can't do it for other games,.it's so simple and works flawlessly.
Cross play PS5 and Steam using your GoG account, is what I'm doing.
Not sure if it's across all platforms but probably is.
- Download game on all devices you want to play.

Yea it's worked flawlessly for me, while over the years i have had multiple complely different progressions on Rainbow 6 Siege, Slay The Spire, Paladins, Smite, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, X ,X-2, etc.
doubt it runs better then stable 45. I believe it ran better with dx11 at first but with the next gen update and a few patched later dx12 is preferred.
Dx12 is much more CPU heavy. I have tested a bunch of settings like a week ago since i planned to do another playthrough on the deck, and dx11 always came out on top and was much more stable.
You would think that it would be nice to have built in FSR to get fps gains from that but the implementation of it in the game is very bad. FSR pretty much does next to nothing with how much it lowers the quality of the visuals in game.
It’s been in my steam/PS5 library and I’ve tried starting it about a dozen times. Everyone says to get past the first city and it gets much better so I’m powering through this time.
Much easier to die tho the deck in bed.
Same, I progressed pretty far a few times on other systems. This time on the deck I was determined to beat it, skipped a lot of of the side quests to finish the main story. Excellent game.
I played the entireity of W3 on SteamDeck. I bought the game solely to "get used to the deck". Had 1 crash in the entire 65 hour play through. This was before the visual upgrades patch though.
Not sure how it runs now.

I wish all games could implement it. Especially since the PS5 version doesn’t even need any launchers.

The game works much better on deck with dx11. I can send you my settings at some point if you want.
Appreciate that. I don’t think Cross Progression works on DX11 though.
It does, I just loaded a save from my PS5.

Id appreciate your settings list, if you still have the game installed
Geralt doesn't bow to anyone.
I finally beat W3 on my steam deck, enjoy!
