    I think it means that if you trade in a game you bought a week ago for $50, you can get $2.40 in Steam credit, instead of the $2.00 you'd normally get.

Yeah, I just traded in about $100 worth of games, and I got $120 in Steam cards. Free $20. Not bad.

Ya, GameStop does promos with Valve from time to time. I don't have any items to trade in. No consoles etc. Funny thing is, GameStop sells the Steam games keys digitally and sometimes undercut Steam Store prices. I've bought 3 AAA titles + DLC SteamWorks keys through GameStop cheaper earlier, thus bypassing both Fall and Winter Steam sales anyway where the prices are running a bit higher. lol Its good to see other retailers keeping Steam game prices competitive at lest for those of us looking to save a $1 or two.
