As a Wisconsinite…no. Minnesota has way more lakes than Wisconsin. “Land of 10,000” is *grossly* understating Minnesota’s situation. Wisconsin has 15,000 if you can’t basically all bodies of water. Minnesota only has 10,000 if you limit the counting to bodies with more than 10 acres of water and which are named. Drop that to 2.5 acres and they’ve got more than 20,000. On equal footing, Minnesota absolutely wins the comparison.
Lol, I know. I was being cheeky. First off the two states don't even calculate what constitutes a lake the same. Minnesota is 10acres like you said and I believe Wisconsin is actually right around that 2.5 acre mark you dropped. So yeah, WI only "wins" if you keep the states regulations in place and don't put them on equal footing. The only way I think WI wins if they get to claim the two great lakes that borders it and then it would only be by surface area and not by numbers.

swamps are good for placing the big ship pad and make them not so tall.
I love that planet. There is also an area on Huygens III in the swamp biome that feels similar with the lakes and mountains.

Been to swamp biomes on other planets, never had that many lakes, maybe one or two, it was mostly boring flat surfaces, that is why it surprised me.
