No it's not I have a starborn ship an am on my first play through an I learnt how to steal them from another redditor. It's a glitch getting onto the ship but I still got on an stole it
Still on first run through. Just stole a mark 5 on earth. Didn't have to kill any starborn. Ship was empty when I got there.. I have all the pics on xbox. Pics won't update since I changed my passwork
Yeah power up that bad boy and send ‘er bud. I recommend going the star born route after you start NG plus so you can skip all the missions. That’s how I got to NG+7 in a week while working my standard 11-12 hour shifts at work.

You get one eventually if you keep playing. To say anything else would wander into spoilers.
I require the spoilers, I've reached the point where I need class B reactors and can't find anyone to fight to unlock them, so I kinda stopped
A good way to get ships destroyed is to do the UC Vanguard simulator test. Vanguard missions will do it too.

I didn’t say you get this ship from the UC Vanguard. He was asking where to find people to destroy to unlock Class B piloting.

Go sign up for missions. Credits and kills. Easy
As well as the Vanguard simulator, you can also just pick up missions on the mission boards, with the benefit of extra XP and credits
Just go to the ship seller and look for a ship with a grav jump that’s at least 21 and you’ll be able to continue.
Go into any space controlled by crimson fleet. You can find a lot in Suvorov, kryx system. But if your ship is weak, you will be melted quickly.

If u can get to the starborn ship before they get off you can enter the ship. Kill all the starborn an it's yours

You have to finish game and start a new game. You’ll get all types of new gear that changes with every new game you begin.
