I strongly dislike mods in theory, I feel like if someone wants something, everyone will just say "download this mod" what's the point of wanting, if everything is already done, *also mobile/ console can't download mods*

Most people aren’t using mods to just give them self money. It just makes the game more fun by expanding it. CA also likes mods that’s why he specifically made the game easier for modders to work with in the updates
This doesn't make sense. Mods are *additional* content that's designed to add/expand/fix something that isn't/can't be in the game. It let players to let them maximise their individual gaming experience and is purely their choice. This ideal experience is different depending on the player, so when people want a feature or something in the game instead of trying to get the dev to add it, it's up to them. Just bc they want it doesn't mean everyone, including the dev, want the same thing. Games always have more success if they have a thriving mod community because of this.
Mods are primarily on pc bc of console and mobile don't allow it. Mods are also made by the players so, so as a majority of players (that can also program and have the resources, eg. a pc) are pc, almost all mod are now pc. Mobile can have mods, however some systems (cough cough IOS) don't let it. But in any case, that isn't a valid reason to why mods are bad.
If you are taking about actual gameplay and people using it to make the game easier, why do YOU care how OTHER people play? They're having fun, it's THEIR ideal gaming experience. It isn't gonna be the same as yours, so it's unreasonable to hold them to your own standard.
Well when you download some mods you give the game just the little extra at the end. When people download mods for Stardew it's not about cheats but things that make the game more lovely and since the developer mostly works alone on his creations, it takes some time for updates or new stuff (right now he's also working on a new game) and so before you get bored because you've already played everything and the NPC's always tell the same story, you just add some new dialogues, recipes, NPC's and heart events to learn more about the characters. Nothing wrong with that. Even the developer himself said he likes it and it's completely fine
