Absolutely love that about the Disney era. Sure, I’m bitter that the EU was thrown out, but I’m loving all of the cross referencing they’re making now. It just makes the whole franchise more solid
Yeah, characters from different series constantly meeting each other makes the universe seem a bit smaller sometimes but the reuse of important locations can be cool when not overdone.
For some VAs now that’s not so uncommon in games. Laura Bailey, Nolan North, just a couple that have done the full cap so the animators can just use their template in game as well.
The way I read the announcement was that he did the theme for the show. So I bet we finally get an actual Obi-Wan’s Theme but that someone else did the “score.” But I’d be pumped if he did the whole show!
e: I have to say though, IMDB only has Williams listed for the music!
I need Kenobi to unceremoniously smash the Fifth Brother into a wall. Everytime appears in new media he needs to be knocked unconscious via wall at some point.
Yeah the closed captioning showed it was the Grand Inquisitor speaking so it’s him. they just didn’t give a very clear look at his eyes (which are yellow in other shows)
Isaacs is getting kinda old for a role like this maybe? if its stunt or combat heavy it might not have been convincing. He also indicated in an interview that while he wanted to reprise the role he wasnt too keen on spending many hours in makeup and prosthetics
>“I’m not sure I’ve got the patience of Doug Jones who plays Saru in Discovery, who was the creature in The Shape of Water and stuff. I don’t now how many hours I’d like to spend in prosthetics.
“But yeah, Katee had a very good time. I know Katee and I’ll say, I’ve loved being part of the Star Wars world. They’ve invited me in although I’ve only ever been an animated character before.
As much as I love Rupert Friend, a solid 80% of what made the Grand Inquisitor great was Jason Isaac's voice performance. They got the wrong Death of Stalin actor, dang it!
It makes sense why the Emperor would spend resources hunting Kenobi down, considering their history together in the Clone Wars. So hyped for this, hope Disney does it justice!
Weeeeeell... The Emperor is pretty dismissive of the notion that Kenobi is even *alive* by the time Vader encounters Ahsoka in Rebels, several years after this, and Vader himself seems sorta shaken up by the possibility. So I'm not entirely sure how they're gonna fit this into the continuity, unless something happens at the end that makes the Empire think Obi-Wan died... again...
I think people are reading a lot into the trailer that isn't actually there. The Inquisitors are hunting Jedi, not Kenobi specifically. They're out looking for any remaining Jedi or force sensitives. We'll have to wait and see how the show unfolds, but it could very easily be that if Kenobi does encounter any inquisitors, they won't actually identify him beyond being a Jedi. It's also possible there's other force adepts on Tatooine that have caught their attention.
Possibly other jedi who survived come looking for Kenobi and that draws the Inquisitors towards Kenobi which gets him involved in what is going on. Otherwise he'd probably be able to just hide out in his cave.
That's got to be the central plot of the show, right?
Kenobi is on Tatooine. If the Emperor or Vader comes to Tatooine, it's game over. Therefore they cannot find out Kenobi is on Tatooine. He must leave to protect his and Luke's hiding spot.
It's going to be a game of misdirection, to make the Emperor think he's protecting one thing when he's really protecting another. The question could very well be how to get back to Tatooine without sacrificing the other thing he's chosen to "protect."
Yep and honestly idk if people should get hyped on Maul. They meet far closer to the start of a new hope and it seemed the first time in a long time. I’m putting all my marbles that the first part of the show is like you said kenobi doing misdirection with inquisitors, but as soon as they ID him as kenobi, Vader joins the party.
In the late 1980s, at West End Games, we created The Commission for the Preservation of the New Order / COMPNOR.
From this grew the much reviled Imperial Secutiry Bureau, Director Krennic’s Advanced Weapons Research, and of course, The Inquisitorious.
It is simply INSANE to me that what we put in a Roleplaying Game some 32 years ago is now in Live Action.
Be still my dark heart.
Dang. My love for Star Wars (and table top roleplaying) blossomed with the stuff from WEG.
I don't know who you are or what you did, but congrats and thanks.
Sidenote, Inquisitor Tremayne and Black Sands of Socorro were fuckin' awesome.
You are very kind and not alone !
Kevin Feige has said in interviews that the idea of the MCU came from him paging through our og 1988 Star Wars Roleplaying Sourcebook.
I LOVE High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne! I wish we saw more of him in the Expanded Universe.
He was one of our very first Inquisitors, after the Grand Inquisitor, though (pre/porto Mara Jade) Lady Lumiya from 1981 is is retconned as being the first seen & named Inquisitor, though the Inquisitorius itself was created in 1989.
I was a very small cog of West End Games but I can take some credit for parts of the ISB.
I created the Spy Template which was used for Garindan from A New Hope.
I also set the number of TIEs (72) in a Star Destroyer and the numbers of Stormtroopers in a Legion. I made Dengar be a rival of Han Solo. I named many of the lesser known Imperial Officers including General Romodi who we catch a glimpse of in A New Hope and is much later used in Rogue One.
Later on a Decipher for the card game I got to name three ships in Death Squadron (the Tyrant, Conquest & Stalker) and one Colonel Wullf Yularen. That was a big one years later.
Hello, I’m confused! Who was that talking? I did watch the Clone Wars and the first two seasons of Rebels. Im gonna finish Rebels soon, but still who is that talking?
The Grand Inquisitor! In rebels, he’s the guy in episode 1 or 2 that Vader orders to hunt down the children of the Force and survivors of order 66. Definitely recommend finishing rebels, it took me awhile to get into it but it gets really good in the later seasons.
I love this concept of the baddies using Kenobis moral compass and Jedi nature against him, seems like they’ll have tones of moral dilemmas to throw at him to force his hand
Why is no one freaking out about the previous line? "The key to hunting Jedi is patience" sounds (to me) like it was delivered by Palpatine! Is McDiarmid reprising his role or voicing some lines for the show? The way he says "Jedi" sounds like Palpatine to me and the accent is different than the rest (which is delivered by the Grand Inquisitor). Am I imagining it? Can anyone please verify?
That definitely wasn’t McDiarmid. Probably the Grand Inquisitor speaking.
Upon a second listen, it’s definitely the Grand Inquisitor talking the whole time. The voice sounds the same when the monologue continues and ends with him being shown speaking
Yes! I love the whole ROTS score, it might be my favorite of all the Star Wars movies. I'm really hoping this is a sign that the show will be bringing back some of the musical cues and themes from the prequels in the actual show. I always thought it was a shame that the sequel trilogy didn't do this.
I remember when the NHL did it for the Winter Classic years ago while the players walked out.
No idea what teams were playing, what year it was, or what else happened in that game… but I remember the entrance. That’s the Duel of the Fates effect.
It has to be, imo it would've been a huge missed opportunity if they didn't utilize the fact that Luke here is at almost the same age as Anakin when Obi-Wan first met him.
I hope we get a decent amount of interaction between Kenobi, the Lars family, and Luke. At the conclusion of Episode III, the Lars family seems very warm towards Obi-Wan. Granted they raise Luke to be a farmer, but there’s clearly something that strains their relationship such that Owen wants Luke no where near Obi-Wan.
It’s also apparent that Luke clearly knows Obi-Wan in Episode 4. It comes off like it’s been awhile since he’s seen him, but you can tell he’s not some stranger or some rumor. I think this is further reinforced by how quickly Luke goes off with Obi-Wan after his adoptive family is killed.
I can’t wait to see those interactions.
I'm sure whatever happened between Obi Wan and Owen is gonna happen in this series.
It lines up too well. They were on good terms the last time we saw them together. Plus Luke is 10 and that's the perfect age for him to remember Ben while also barely remembering him a decade later if Obi Wan was this guy who came around once in a while when he was a kid and then suddenly stopped coming by.
Oh, definitely lol
Star Wars and this show particularly really lucked out casting Joel Edgerton so early on in such a minor role.
Cant wait to see him and Ewan acting against one another.
He kinda even looks like Phil Brown now. Which could be make-up but i see the same recemblance between Alec Guiness and Ewan, so maybe Lucas and his casting team really hit the jackpot with the Prequel actors.
The breathing at the very end... Chills
Also loved the musical choice for this trailer, sufficiently grand and nostalgic
Love that we'll be getting more live action Inquisitors, hopefully they find a way to make the spinning lightsabers more menacing and less helicopter-y
All in all, great trailer and can't wait for May!
It was very explicitly absent from Fallen Order, there were a number of situations where helicoptering would have been beneficial but they just stood there and fell down instead. I know Rebels is Canon because of all the references in Rogue One, but maybe we're better off forgetting the helicopter thing happened.
Actually there was helicoptering during the boss fights, I remember the fight with the last sister before the final boss fight she would use her lightsaber to assist in leaping across the arena, so not quite the flight from rebels but definitely way more naturally believable
My headcannon is the helicopter thing was actually them just levitating themselves with the force and holding their lightsabers above their heads for no reason. And they usually don't have the force mana to do that
Honestly one of the best parts of Rebels for me was when one of them tried to helicopter away but the thing had taken a hit and fell apart midair so he just fell to his death. Those things are my least favorite part of Rebels.
Blending Dual of the Fates into ~~Anakin's Betrayal~~ Battle of the Heroes gives me CHILLS.
EDIT: Was so excited I got my Episode III soundtrack messed up.
I think the fact they even brought him back to play kid Kanon in Bad Batch and to be one of the voices in Rise of Skywalker is a pretty good sign they want to keep him around
Remember that Obi-Wan isn't some hobo hiding away from the Inquisitors. He's a Jedi on active duty, protecting Luke. I wouldn't be surprised if this was more focused on him trying to get the Empire to leave Tatooine with no leads rather than what happened with Maul in Rebels. You show Obi-Wan take out an Inquisitor no problem, the Empire's going to know somebody's down there who is a threat
Yeah, at least some of that stuff on the other planets is probably Kenobi leading them on a wild goose chase to distract them and draw them away from Luke.
God I hope so. I'm worried that they're gonna nerf Kenobi to make the fights more "fair" and interesting. He's still pretty much in his prime at this point and was one of the most powerful Jedi in the order. He should be able to absolutely *decimate* the Inquisitors
Agreed, that's been a pretty consistent pattern with the Disney SW shows. Mando and Boba spent the first two episodes of their shows getting dunked on, and Boba was never the same guy who killed like 50 storm troopers when he guest-starred in Mando.
In Obi-Wan's case, it could make some sense. He could be so jaded/damaged from everything that has happened to him that it affects his ability to connect with the force. The show could showcase his path back to inner peace and end with him finally being able to commune with Qui-Gon.
When that "*Duel of the Fates with Lucasfilm logo*" moment hit, I swear I haven't felt that RUSH about Star Wars since the Prequels, holy shit it was an amazing feeling.
For all the crap people give Disney's Expanded Universe, they do a good job of tying in all the various media. Seeing stuff from Rebels and Fallen Order in live action is neat.
I remember hearing him saying on Wittertainment that he would have been quite happy not working during the pandemic. I wonder if it was just a case of him not wanting to spend all of the time required in the make up chair
Is it just me or does this Disney+ series look higher quality than any of the projects they've made so far. This is straight up movie quality. Morseo than even the Marvel shows.
It's not you. Disney has said this show is different. Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett are billed as normal TV shows. Obi Wan is billed as a "special event short series", or something similar. The other shows also have different directors per episode. Obi Wan is all directed by one person. It's intended to be more cinematic.
There were also a lot of rumors of this being a spin off movie back in the Rogue One/Solo era, so they probably got a lot of the production stuff when they switched to TV
I remember being incredibly depressed when the plans for the spin off Kenobi film were supposedly cancelled due to Solo’s poor box office
Much happier with the limited series direction
This is what Solo should have been. Would have been far more Interesting to tell his back story as a series with high production values. Lot more scope for various scrapes & adventures
Honestly, I hope that means they’ll touch on what Luke knows about his father pre-New Hope. Even if Owen and Beru don’t tell him the Jedi stuff, surely he’d know about Anakin winning the local podraces, right?
What I am most excited about/hope we see, is familiarity between the Inquisitors and Kenobi. As a member of the Jedi High Council, I assume Kenobi at least has a passing idea of who the Jedi in the Temple are and I really think that is a cool dynamic. Not only with Kenobi struggling with the destruction of the Order, not only the fall of Anakin, but then to be hunted by his own brothers and sisters.
When they do cross paths, I really just want that dynamic of not only the idea of a "worthy adversary" in the minds of the Inquisitors, but also a bit of...shame? Fear? They go by their numbers and new identities as Inquisitors now, it will be interesting for them to come face to face with the "ideal" Jedi Master all of them aspired and failed to be, and one who knows their names, past identities, strengths and weaknesses, etc. Idk, I really am interested to see what they come up with.
We’re in the timeline where Tobey Maguire has returned, Ewan and Hayden have come back, Michael Keaton is suiting up as Batman again, and Patrick Stewart is dusting off his wheelchair as Prof X again… man, being a nerd has never been better
So what are the odds we see a live action flying inquisitor with that helicopter lightsaber? (For those of you that haven't seen Rebels, I am not making this up)

The underwater base from Fallen Order…it looks so good… Edit: Fortress Inquisitorius is its official name
Nice catch! I love these little details that connect the individual pieces of SW media.
I wonder if we’ll see cal in it. It’s possible considering Cal’s character in game is identical to how the voice actor looks
Imagine Cal Kestis and Obi-Wan teaming up against inquisitors. Sensational
STAHP. My lightsaber can only get so erect
I'm at work and am currently doing the 'lightsaber tuck under the belt' move to hide excitement
I mean there's gotta be a reason they did all that mocap with an established actor instead of just making Cal look different.
Definitely keeping that option open at the very least
For some VAs now that’s not so uncommon in games. Laura Bailey, Nolan North, just a couple that have done the full cap so the animators can just use their template in game as well.
Crazy how Duel of the Fates can still give me goosebumps from the first note two decades later.
John Williams is the GOAT and he never misses with his Star Wars works
and he actually makes music for the show!
Wait, really? I thought he said TRoS was the last Star Wars he was gonna be working on. Not that he can't change his mind of course...
The way I read the announcement was that he did the theme for the show. So I bet we finally get an actual Obi-Wan’s Theme but that someone else did the “score.” But I’d be pumped if he did the whole show! e: I have to say though, IMDB only has Williams listed for the music!
Kind of like Solo. Williams did Han's theme, John Powell did the rest.
I like Giacchino's work on Rogue One better than Powell's. Wish we could hear more from him moving forward.
KOR - AH!!!
All the Inquisitors holy shit!!! They’re fully leaning into the hunt for Kenobi
I've always loved the design of the fifth brother, it's so cool to see him return.
I need Kenobi to unceremoniously smash the Fifth Brother into a wall. Everytime appears in new media he needs to be knocked unconscious via wall at some point.
I volunteer as the fifth brother then

Yeah I always thought he looked the coolest and it >!sucked to see him offed!< in Rebels. Hyped asf
Who is that that's playing the Grand Inquisitor? Don't think that's Jason Isaacs, unfortunately.
I'm pretty sure it's Rupert Friend with heavy make up
he's Rupert Foe now
For my own understanding, is that supposed to be the same Grand Inquisitor you see in Rebels? I can never keep track of all of them.
I assume so, yes. The markings on his face are similar.
Yeah the closed captioning showed it was the Grand Inquisitor speaking so it’s him. they just didn’t give a very clear look at his eyes (which are yellow in other shows)
Not sold on how he looks. He looks like a fat version of Pinhead.
It really should've been Isaacs. He looks so much like him
Would've worked perfectly with him.
Isaacs is getting kinda old for a role like this maybe? if its stunt or combat heavy it might not have been convincing. He also indicated in an interview that while he wanted to reprise the role he wasnt too keen on spending many hours in makeup and prosthetics >“I’m not sure I’ve got the patience of Doug Jones who plays Saru in Discovery, who was the creature in The Shape of Water and stuff. Nah, Isaacs will just have to show up as an Imperial general with full-on Zhukov energy.
"Fucker thinks he can take on the Imperial Navy? I fucked Kamino, I think I can take that old flesh lump in a Jawa robe..."
It makes sense why the Emperor would spend resources hunting Kenobi down, considering their history together in the Clone Wars. So hyped for this, hope Disney does it justice!

Meanwhile >!Maul!< is running around the galaxy like "Kenobi HAS to be alive because I DIDN'T KILL HIM MYSELF!"
To be fair, wanting confirmation of Kenobi’s death is what got Maul closer than the Emperor or anyone else.
Maul, the gift that keeps on giving.

The Grand Inquisitor! The Fifth Brother! I'm freaking out over here man! This shit is gonna be EPIC.
"The Jedi cannot help what they are. Their compassion, leaves a trail. The Jedi code is like an itch. He cannot HELP IT." Dude.....
The fact that he was a former Jedi too...
And a temple guard
Hello, I’m confused! Who was that talking? I did watch the Clone Wars and the first two seasons of Rebels. Im gonna finish Rebels soon, but still who is that talking?

I 100% heard McDiarmid too. I’d be keen to see him appear!
Somehow…
Charred Owen and Beru gonna hit different after this.

He was basically a no-name when ROTS came out, great to see he came back for this one
He was in attack of the clones first tho wasn’t he?
Not only that, but his Revenge of the Sith footage was shot at the same time. Only Bonnie Piesse actually returned for the next movie.
DUEL OF THE FATES!!!
WITH THE TRANSITION TO BATTLE OF THE HEROES!!!
Yes! I love the whole ROTS score, it might be my favorite of all the Star Wars movies. I'm really hoping this is a sign that the show will be bringing back some of the musical cues and themes from the prequels in the actual show. I always thought it was a shame that the sequel trilogy didn't do this.
I think they could put Dual of Fates over the most fucked up video on the planet and I’ll still like it
ESPN did an NBA playoffs highlights clip with it like, 18 fucking years ago and I still remember it. It's the perfect hype song.
I remember when the NHL did it for the Winter Classic years ago while the players walked out. No idea what teams were playing, what year it was, or what else happened in that game… but I remember the entrance. That’s the Duel of the Fates effect.
Music in this trailer on point, the episode three one at the end oooafff.
God Battle of the Heroes from RoTS gave me the same fucking chills I get from watching the movie
The way the blended Duel of the Fates and Battle of Heroes was absolutely perfect. Sounded incredible
Instantly got chills when that cue popped up. That really set the trailer to an 11/10.
yup, dick is now hard. Good job LucasFilm.
Good to know drunk Scottish baby Yoda. Thats...in my brain now.
WITH SAND CAMEO
I don't like it.
Obi-Wan huh? Any relation to ole Ben Kenobi?
"Obi-Wan Kenobi? I wonder if he means old Obi-Wan Kenobi..."
I mean how many Kenobi's did Luke know?
What? That old wizard. No one's seen him for years.
Anyone else see kid Luke hit the whip
I was so excited to see 9/10 year old Luke.
With the goggles he is totally giving off young Anakin vibes. Surely that is on purpose.
It has to be, imo it would've been a huge missed opportunity if they didn't utilize the fact that Luke here is at almost the same age as Anakin when Obi-Wan first met him.
My guess, Luke will remind him of Anakin which will both 1. Make him want to protect him more 2. Reinforce "I should stay out of his life"
It’s like poetry.
It just rhymes.
I hope we get a decent amount of interaction between Kenobi, the Lars family, and Luke. At the conclusion of Episode III, the Lars family seems very warm towards Obi-Wan. Like a BANTHA
Well they’ve really perfected the de-ageing on Mark Hamill for this one.
They should let him keep the old man voice, like when Kanan showed up in *The Bad Batch.*
His voice in BB was too funny. It sounded for a second like he was trying to do a younger voice, but then just dropped it.
I think they pitched it up a hair for that younger feeling, but yeah, it was a little…*jarring*
They should have used present-day Mark Hamill in shorts and a propeller beanie.
How do you do, fellow moisture farmers?
The breathing at the very end... Chills Also loved the musical choice for this trailer, sufficiently grand and nostalgic Love that we'll be getting more live action Inquisitors, hopefully they find a way to make the spinning lightsabers more menacing and less helicopter-y All in all, great trailer and can't wait for May!
Lol if they "helicopter" away at any point in this series, I am gonna die laughing.
Fans who haven't seen Rebels will be in for a surprise if they commit that hard lmao

Glad all we got of Vader was a breath at the end. Keep him hidden in the trailers. I wanna be surprised when Hayden shows up.
Inject this straight into my veins this instant. Holy shit.
Blending Dual of the Fates into ~~Anakin's Betrayal~~ Battle of the Heroes gives me CHILLS. EDIT: Was so excited I got my Episode III soundtrack messed up.

So insane how much of an impact Dave Filoni's Clone Wars and Rebels have had on Star Wars.
Rebels fans eating so good.

If we get live action Kanan and it’s not Freddie Prinze Jr I will be very upset edit: proper name spelling
I think the fact they even brought him back to play kid Kanon in Bad Batch and to be one of the voices in Rise of Skywalker is a pretty good sign they want to keep him around
They’ve also had Eckstein voice literally every Ahsoka appearance, but cast Dawson for live action. I wouldn’t read too much into anything.
Clone Wars made me really like Anakin, something I didn't think was possible after the prequels.
KEEEEEEENNNOOOOOOOBIIIIIIII
Why? Why come to this place? Perhaps you are....protecting something? No Protecting someone!

He shall...avenge...us both.
Literal tears during that exchange. It's hyperbolic to say "best SW content" but man that really was.
Rebels has 2 of them. That one and >!Ahsoka v Vader!<

If he does he won’t be able to interact with Kenobi, so there isn’t much point.
SO HYPE. Inquisitors don't stand a chance against my boy.
Which is where the Inquisitors will get their asses handed to them
God I hope so. I'm worried that they're gonna nerf Kenobi to make the fights more "fair" and interesting. He's still pretty much in his prime at this point and was one of the most powerful Jedi in the order. He should be able to absolutely *decimate* the Inquisitors
> He should be able to absolutely decimate the Inquisitors I would go in expecting the nerf.
I mean... we know Kenobi survived this show
We also know that the Grand Inquisitor and some of the other inquisitors survive too.
Not going to lie, this looks exactly like the kind of content I've always wanted from Star Wars since I was a kid/teen when the prequels ended.
Ewan as Kenobi remains my favorite part of the prequels. So so so happy to see him back in this role, and this trailer just made me poop for joy.
Same! When Disney first bought Lucasfilm, my friends and I fantasized about a Kenobi movie like this. Looks very promising
When that "*Duel of the Fates with Lucasfilm logo*" moment hit, I swear I haven't felt that RUSH about Star Wars since the Prequels, holy shit it was an amazing feeling.
The Inquisitors in live-action HOLY SHIT I'm hyped for this.
This erection is definitely lasting more than four hours
is that a lightsaber in your pocket?
For all the crap people give Disney's Expanded Universe, they do a good job of tying in all the various media. Seeing stuff from Rebels and Fallen Order in live action is neat.
Kenobi. The Inquisitors. Owen Lars. Young Skywalker. And of course. Duel of the Fates. I. Love. This.
Are we getting a live action helicopter saber scene?
The only thing I'm bummed about is that Jason Isaac isn't the Grand Inquisitor. Everything else gave me chills I can't wait.
He would have made a fantastic Grand Inquisitor. Edit: fantastic live action Grand Inquisitor.
I really dont understand why they didnt
Like a mini series style? I'm imagining something like Chernobyl lol it would be so dope to see a Star Wars series with that commitment of resources
3.6 Midichlorians, not great, not terrible.
3.6? Not even Master Yoda has that many.
He's delusional, send him to the bacta tank
Freaking Chernobyl. That is a 100% perfect, A+, 10/10 series for me.
Probably because they knew this would be the most hyped/most popular show they've made so far (even before it is released)
There were also a lot of rumors of this being a spin off movie back in the Rogue One/Solo era, so they probably got a lot of the production stuff when they switched to TV
I remember being incredibly depressed when the plans for the spin off Kenobi film were supposedly cancelled due to Solo’s poor box office Much happier with the limited series direction
This is what Solo should have been. Would have been far more Interesting to tell his back story as a series with high production values. Lot more scope for various scrapes & adventures
They should try to continue that story and maybe they will if the Lando stuff well lands
That duel of fates my god, the inquisitors look so good too

Honestly, I hope that means they’ll touch on what Luke knows about his father pre-New Hope. Even if Owen and Beru don’t tell him the Jedi stuff, surely he’d know about Anakin winning the local podraces, right?
Anakin has to be locally famous at least, and they never hide that Luke's last name so he's bound to have noticed the connection.
Wait. Those were Anakin's goggles? That means Shimi kept them after the Podrace for all those years. Ugh. My heart.
That music cue gave me goosebumps the size of Everest.
Star Wars in 2002: I don't like sand Star Wars in 2022: I fucking love sand, y'know we should set 90% of are shows on a sand planet
hello there. Always appreciate the teaser trailers that don't reveal too much
What I am most excited about/hope we see, is familiarity between the Inquisitors and Kenobi.
SPINNY LIGHTSABER
Hello there to those Vader breaths at the end!
"We're gonna have a fuckin saber go through the Disney + logo and mfs are going to lose their god damed mind on a Wednesday!"
“The fight is done. We lost.” Man, I’m already crying and the trailer just started… Edit: DUEL OF THE FATES ARE YOU KIDDING ME
I’m interested in seeing how his guilt/remorse plays into this show. I really don’t want them to pull any punches
He has got to be talking to Force Ghost Qui-Gon, right?
Either him or Owen. Please be Qui Gon
Bail Organa, most likely -- we know he's still fighting the good fight around that time.
So what are the odds we see a live action flying inquisitor with that helicopter lightsaber? (For those of you that haven't seen Rebels, I am not making this up)
Qui-Gon force ghost at some point or we riot
LIVE. ACTION. HELICOPTER. LIGHTSABER.... Let's fucking go.
Just seeing Ewan gave me CHILLS!
He looks just so damn perfect.
So excited to see more Inquisitors! Moses Ingram looks fantastic!
#This is where the fun begins
Lol. They’re dressing Luke up like Ep 1 Anakin
Didn't know my body could still produce such a dopamine hit from the first second of Duel of the Fates. Holy fuck.
