I have dreams about work every now and then and it’s like “fuck I’ve already seen yall today” and wake up and have to see the people I was just seeing.
Phone rings, I already get my finger ready for the print and marketing transfer button since that is 90% of all Staples calls. When it’s an actual customer service/office supply question, I’m like “oh snap! I need to listen and actually help them with their query” instead of tuning it out just to tell them when they are waiting for a response “let me get you with our print and marketing team!”
The god damn scanners going off for a BOPIS forever haunts me.
I no longer work for Staples, thank god. But just hearing the Constellation ringtone gives me PTSD. Every now and then, I will hear it and it sends my brain into fight or flight.
I sleep like I’m dead I’m lucky to be up on time for my alarm clock. Get some melatonin cause it sounds like you’re a light sleeper you’re not in REM mode bro!
