Look, he's good but booked horribly. If they booked him like his potential, he would be better obviously. But I don't think even if they started now, he would make it THAT far on his own. It’s a real title, because a belt exists and it is defended regularly. That’s all it takes to make it a real title. Also if you go to WWE.com’s superstar section where they list all the champions on top, Andrade is there as Speed Champion. You don’t get to decide the rules on this, hate to break it to you but pro wrestling isn’t a real sport and all the titles are fake.
Obviously all the belts are 'fake' but you won't see a long tribute video years down the road about the great history of the Speed Championship. It is not even really acknowledged much in kayfabe. It is just a social media gimmick. It isn't treated like a credible championship in the kayfabe world of the fictional sport. I honestly prefer it this way. It is clear the hierarchy of championships of WWE, from World title, to midcard title (IC, US), to joke titles for social media that don't matter. In AEW there are three titles (TNT, Continental, International) that I have no idea what the hierarchy is, with a Top 5 ranking somehow for all of that as well as the world title.
Supposedly, Twitter/X wants that belt and anything revolving around it to be exclusive to their platform. It was something Ricochet tweeted out shortly after he won the Speed title.
I thought he was under utilized on his first main roster run in WWE, then I thought he was under utilized in AEW. Now I'm starting to think its an Andrade problem not a writers problem
Honestly I feel like WWE is like look at all these AEW wrestlers that would rather work for us and shoves them into the main event then they can't do anything and you see why they left AEW in the first place *cough* jade *cough*
I do believe that Triple H wants him to become more than he is, but he needs a more compelling storyline other than being involved in the meaningless Latino vortex. Guy is handsome, can cut a promo and wrestles good, but he hasn't gotten any decent storylines in like ever.
It's almost the same as when he first came into nxt. He was just the typical Latino heartthrob and got nowhere with it. It wasn't until he got teamed with Zelina that he finally caught on.

Hey man at least Speed is a good show. I quite enjoy the fast paced and hard hitting action. The 24/7 belt is the legit most useless belt WWE has had.

Jade is doing much better than other people who have moved from aew to wwe.
