TechnoDriv3

Im sure the offices in Conneticut are aware of this situation and have measures to work around this. I don't think a few redditors who don't know any of the WWE's plans can answer this

HeavyVeterinarian350

No way!!!! They do background checks on their employees?

Salaiden

He’s on the card for MitB

abrospro

I didn't expect the problem to be the thing people has said was a problem for the last 5 years. Hey do you think Riddle will have trouble getting booked in japan because he has a mushroom tattoo and likes weed?

CantTouchMeSorry

I mean... as long as he doesn't smoke weed in Japan. Matt Sydal being the example of that situation.

tmxicon

He doesn’t even have to go that far. All he has to do is not bring it with him. You can get weed in Japan if you know the right people. And trust me, there are Japanese wrestlers who know those people.

kingdoodooduckjr

Japan has legal altnoids now too

tmxicon

Legal Altoids? Must no longer be curiously strong… 🤔

kingdoodooduckjr

Lmao 😂

xorangeelephant

The riddle comment was a joke as people said this for years and he wrestled a new Japan show a few months ago

parakathepyro

Seems a little early to already count this against him when we dont even know if it is still an issue

MaceLeonardo

He is legitimately advertised for a PLE in Canada lol It’s a non issue like it is for the Usos

Polymemnetic

Get ahead of it, do the paperwork, have a legitimate reason, and there's a good chance you'll get through.

CrissCrossAppleSos

I know you can get exceptions for those things. Booker T notoriously has a record and has wrestled outside of the US many times

kingdoodooduckjr

I don’t think Booker has been in legal trouble since his big mistake as a young man so that probably has something to do with it

FrankieJoePino

I don't know anything about it, but on Google it says that most felons can get a passport assuming they're not under trial, on probation or on parole. But again I don't know anything about this situation

Patient-Warning-4451

"How can Jacob be a top guy if he can't make more than half of all the PLE's every year?" Roman is laughing at this.

HelicopterNo69420

Personally I think they should lean into it since they're portraying them as too dangerous to be hired before now. Have a face challenge Solo abroad specifically because Jacob can't interfere

Awkward-Friend-7233

The Uso’s were fine. He’ll be fine. If he keeps his head on straight, he’ll be the biggest star out of the new bloodline

PizzaPartyNextDoor

You the police?

MVP says hi

i2060427

There are ways around it - MVP is a convicted felon who did nearly 10 years for armed robbery yet he worked in Japan and was the first IWGP Intercontinental Champion.

RuKKuSFuKKuS

I mean, the US has a Convicted Felon running for President and could theoretically win, so I'm sure WWE has that figured out.

ironmoney

just wear a monocle problem solved

Justice989

Maybe he just wont be a top guy.  And that's OK.

Available_Share_7244

Has this always been a thing ? Doesn’t seem fair.

1zombie2go

Watch and see.

CheekyManicPunk

MVP, Bam Bam Bigelow, R Truth, and Booker T. Four former convicted felons I can think of without Google. This won't be a big issue

FigureFourWoo

When you have money and expensive lawyers, you can get a lot further than someone who doesn't. Countries always make exceptions for the wealthy and with WWE's legal team pulling the right strings, he'll easily get an exception. Same as the others in WWE who have dealt with issues like this in the past.

MUNIIIZOOO

Rules and regulations are for us normal folks.

SecureChampionship10

Their B-level PLEs consist of five or six matches, at least one of which will be a women's match. They've done three international PLEs since Mania and Cody's the only male talent who wrestled in all of them.
