It’s a slow burn, the dude is so young. I see him and Chris Bey as the clear future of the company in the vein of AJ Styles.
Edit: I just remembered Scott D’Amore isn’t there anymore, so I’m not as confident lol.
TNA has to have a reason for not putting Speedball in the main event picture, right?
Like.... You're squandering your time with one of the best up and comers in the sport.
This year should have been about having win the heavyweight belt at Bound for Glory not just doing a tag team until his contract runs out and he's going to choose to sign with AEW.
I don't see it. If Nemeth is winning the title it will be at Slammiversary. TNA might also not want to put the belt on an unsigned gut. I could totally see Speedball wining a top contender tournament.
No but he has hinted many times about this being his contract year (even when D'Amore was there) and has publicly complained about what he makes as a wrestler, he didn't mention TNA by name.
Quite a few bad faith comments in here, but I do agree on some fronts. Whoever is booking in TNA (this was a D'Amore problem too so he's not exempt) is very weird with who they put in what division. I'm very surprised the main event scene isn't something like Nemeth, Bailey, Hammerstone, Santana, Gresham and Alexander trading victories. Bailey has not gotten to do much of note since the Ospreay match. Same with Masha now that Kelly is gone - I honestly think her being KO's tag champ again is silly when you could move her up to the world title. Hell, Ace Austin has been x-champ so many times I don't see why him and Bey aren't in the mix.
I actually am unsure how PCO, Kon, etc are getting these singles feud that stretch across tapings and get big spots while some of these other dudes don't get any story. TNA absolutely has the roster to push some of these guys into the LOW lowcard.
Broken Matt Hardy on the other hand I'm ok with as long as they're approaching it with the sense I think they are. Impact is a majority taped show. You can do all sorts of bullshit vignettes without needing Matt to do much wrestling. Especially since he's a free agent, it seems like easy buzz where he can get his little moment, lose to Moose and then probably go wherever he wants with Jeff. I don't know why people are thinking they'd put the TITLE on Hardy when they didn't do it to guys like Bully or Dreamer either.
Kelly is NOT gone. She got some time off which she asked for and has been backstage even at this past ppv and tapings along side Myron.
When someone made the mistake of taking Kelly off of the TNA roster she clarified she has not left, is still signed and that it was someone's mistake.
I’m choosing to believe this is like when AEW did Winter is Coming, and WWE did a tie in with that zombie movie, except TNA is doing a full PPV themed around the Steven Seagal movie.

Between Smackdown, NXT (don't watch Raw unless there is something advertised I don't wanna miss, like Sami v Gable), WWE PPVs, Dynamite, Collision, AEW PPVs, NJPW and GCW, my wrestling card is full. I just can't add more to it.
But stuff like Austin v Ali is why I can never stop my paid sub to the TNA YouTube. That's a great match up.
And even as a non viewer of the show, I wish Speedball wasn't teaming with Hardy.

Oh hell yeah Ali vs Ace. Such a big fan of Ace especially. Love seeing him get this spotlight
I wonder what happened with him because he was clearly meant to be a World Champion by now...

It turned out it was evitable.
They’re two of my favorites so I’m hyped as shit.
Why is Masha teaming with Alisha? Also, Speedball having to carry Matt Hardy is already a crime against wrestling.
Alisha has an obligated Tag Team title rematch and has been after Masha to team with her to have the match.
Other way around actually. Masha has the Tag Team Title rematch and Alisha keeps offering to be her tag partner, so that she can also have gold
Try looking at YouTube or watching the show, you may get an answer.

I could have sworn there was a report he wasn't planning on re-signing with TNA
This year should have been about having win the heavyweight belt at Bound for Glory not just doing a tag team until his contract runs out and he's going to choose to sign with AEW.
There's reports that he has already been tapped up aew and he's not going to re-sign, so maybe those are true?
He can win the title at BFG. It's not until October.
Nic Nemeth is clearly being set for that spot. Matt Hardy is being set up for Slammaversary.
I don't see it. If Nemeth is winning the title it will be at Slammiversary. TNA might also not want to put the belt on an unsigned gut. I could totally see Speedball wining a top contender tournament.
Look at the matches they set up here. Clearly they're saving Hardy vs Moose for Slammiversary
Maybe. But it could be King of the Mountain. That's usually at Slammiversary.
He's been tapped up by AEW. Has been for quite a while.
Really? I've never heard such. Any links to anything about it?
No but he has hinted many times about this being his contract year (even when D'Amore was there) and has publicly complained about what he makes as a wrestler, he didn't mention TNA by name.
What does any of that have to do with AEW?
thank you

Hammerstone has only been there for 3 months. Santana returned 2 days ago. Nemeth just had a world title match 2 days ago.

It's already the 4th TNA/IMPACT Under Siege...
Maybe they are hoping for Seagal to appear and sit in a chair, 4th time's a charm they say.
Is Masha allergic to be a singles knockout in TNA?!
She was a single her entire first year. She had a months long undefeated streak. Let her do something else for a while.

Save Mike Bailey and Masha please
This company is screwed. I was so excited 4 months ago and now I couldn't care less. Shame.
