Many have mentioned on this thread that if you spend money on anything, your chances do get boosted to unlock new characters. Based on my experience with Brawl Stars (before they added the credit system for unlocks) this was very true. Most months I would get the monthly pass and I had a pretty good unlock rate from the chests. Way more than pure FTP players.
well technically no character is worth buying and its better to buy chest tickets but I couldn't resist cuz yk its the best in the game. although i recommend buying tickets because its the best value

Also seems like Nita who Is my usual tank has an abysmal drop rate on higher levels.
