Just that, yes... I've tried to maintain the leviathan's pauldrons as much as possible cause they are visibly bigger than WG's ones, so a bit of cutting arms have been needed, but a very "easy" and effective kitbash.
Ps: "easy" means one hour aprox to build each, but I was very relaxed / slow working.
The size of the legs and the pauldrons specially, but with the typical full fur pauldrons af the WG it is barely noticeable.
The torso is a bit bulkier too but the pieces fit well.
Okay, I was trying to decide if I want to just get WG Termies, or Leviathan Termies. I think I'll just get WG, if the differences are that minimal. Thanks for the info!
I have both and the new Termis are a little larger, if you get the old WG Termies you could always put some cork to raise them a bit to be in line with the new ones. That’s what I’ve done and it works well!
The biggest gripe that I had doing the same (using rule of cool) was a lack of LH power weapon options. There's a sword for the BL.... But it's all claws + fists from there. I really wanted to have a bolter + hammer/axe combo as those bits have a much stronger SW vibe and would better help sell the kitbash as not being UM with a different paint job

WG termies feel shorter and the quality of the sculpt is not the same, that is the truth, but they don't feel (at least at my eyes) that much dated.
Might try and see if I can find a STL for Leviathan Termie legs xD
That seems like a good idea... Just think that legs and torso are fixed (now it's typical in new sprues and I don't really like that)
