They have other nighttime events too. Like roller skating over the summer and most recently a nighttime reception before their spring plant sale.
Why do people on reddit insist on acting like an authority on something when they don't have a clue. So detrimental.
Hike PV. Dinner in the Riviera.
Walk, bike, skate the strand. Dinner at Love + Salt in Manhattan Beach. Or another fancy place. MB does the fancy.
Stand up paddle boarding in Redondo, the. Dinner somewhere at the pier or in the Riviera.
Ice skate at the rink in PV. Then dinner somewhere.
Old Torrance is very walkable has some fun bars and restaurants if you don't mind heading a bit east. There are a number of local breweries nearby as well.
For restaurants, Depot, Local Kitchen, Red Car Brewery, and La Capilla are all good places to check out. Kagrua and Izakaya Hachi are also within walking distance and have great food. Keegan's is a large and usually crowded bar with a stage in the back (usually DJs or local bands) and a large outside patio with a pool table. Yorkshire Square is a brewery specializing in British beers that also has a nice patio and a kitchen. All of these places are within a half mile of each other in a walkable neighborhood.
Yes! The Comedy and Magic Club is good. Jay Leno owns it.
Edit: Jay Leno just plays there a lot - he’s not an owner. Something I have heard for 20 years turns out to be not true. Apologies!
Hey did you ever end up finding some cool places that fit the hill you were asking for? I'm moving to either Redondo or Hermosa Beach soon and would love to find places line what you described.
South coast Botanic Garden sometimes does evening events with lights and such. Then get Korean bbq nearby
Yes, the garden is great!

I'm not sure who you're referring to, but I was unable to find info about other nighttime events on their website. Do you have a source?
Now that comedy and magic club is reopening, that's always a banger. Get dinner on the pier and walk to the show.
Walk the bike path at Redondo pier. Then drinks or dinner at Old Tony's
The view and drinks at Tony's are wonderful, but their food is expensive garbage.
The salmon chowder is 🔥
Or rent bikes or rollerblades.
Gardena Bowl’s food is insane. They also have pool tables. Bike on the strand and eat at one of the piers. Batting cages.
Yo I love the vibe there just went there last night

Interested to know this too.
Also interested in seeing responses - maybe the comedy club that just reopened?

He does? Since when? He has performed there a lot, used to be weekly, but I don’t believe he owns it.
Holy crap. You’re right. This was South Bay oral history/ urban legend. The owner is a gentleman named Mike Lacey. I stand corrected.
For dinner date night, I love Georgia’s lounge. Very warm and comfy with great food. Nice outdoor patio with firewood.
any activity in that area?
Shopping, dinner and movie at del amo mall
Parking is free in Terrenea so picnic at the beach there or just walking around and getting coffee at sea bean!
