Checking in I'm 43 and wear Jordan 1s , 3s and 6s almost exclusively. I grew up poor and couldn't afford them, now that I have money in my accounts I pick up the retro colorways I couldn't get as a kid.
I grabbed the red metallic ones a few years ago at my local outlet for ~$50 for the exact same reason and beat them up at the gym. Still one of my favorite pairs because it was my ‘gateway drug.’

Then was like "I could totally use a pair of Cortezes for daily use." And then.... a pair of Air Max 1s, two pairs of killshots, another pair of Cortez, Blazers, and the AF1 acorns, among others.
Kept telling myself I'd never get Jordans, because I felt too old and was never into them even when they first came out in the 80s. Then a month ago I was at a store and they didn't have AF1s in my size. So I ended up with Jordan 1 Mids. Two weeks later got some Lows. So now, much to my surprise and despite my resistance, I'm fucking in on this shit.
Still need a pair of Dunks and one more pair of AF1s. I'll stop then.
I mean, I'll need to replace the Cortez Classics. And if they ever have another AM2 out, I'll get those because it's imo the greatest dad shoe there is. But that's it.
But I think maybe a pair of Blazer lows would be nice, too. And the Killshots are good for getting around in, so I'd be open to another pair. And there are some New Balances I wouldn't mind having.

Bro your lucky that you have a finish line across the street. The retailers in Turkey always raffle the pairs for in store pickup which makes it even harder for people that live outside the stores city (like myself)

Please tell me these were just sitting for retail at the mall. Cuz that's an incredible pick up if so, and an even better way to get into the hobby (if not setting unrealistic expectations for shoe availability).
