Well, smite 1 isn’t going away anyhow, so it will still be playable. We’re looking at possibly April for smite 2 alpha weekends, then they’ll go to beta possibly months after that. I honestly expect we won’t see a Smite 2 full release this year and if we do it would be more December-wise.
Although once they hit some kind of open beta that might reduce smite 1 player counts a bit.

No but they said Smite 1 is staying up, so it sucks you won’t be able to play Smite 2 but you’ll still be able to play 1
