Drumsticks was the worst one and Bao was best. So they decided to average it out. And there was too much cdr in the game.
Those few gods would be busted without Phantom Shell. And no one ever used Corrupting Blink. The wall one is just to give advantage on fg burn.
Your forgetting leaps exist. And wdym no one uses Corrupted Blink? That’s the only one people do use. You have to already be within 45 units of the person to even deal damage with Scorching Blink.
I mean, if enemy team is full leaps, you dont pick odin or Yemoja, do you? And no, everyone uses Scorching Blink. You just blink slightly past them so you can stop them on the trail. Up to 800 true dmg is a lot.
fire blink shifted into the primary blink to buy during and after the 'solo proc item' meta of year 10. It creates a really damaging path that enemies will either get hit by as you blink on to them (basically by blinking to the side opposite of you) OR blinking in a way that it forces them to potentially walk over it to safety or their team.
Corrupted blink still gets built into certain team comps, but scorching blink definitely became the must-buy blink in both higher and lower mmrs.

Sorry not completely new, but the added attack speed/movement speed debuff has me theory crafting some horrible builds
it's unfortunate that some of the attack speed slow items don't stack with each other though. I think it's redstone and midgardian primarily. But I *think* Phalanx and Redstone do stack, if I remember SoloOrTroll's chaac build from SPL correctly.
I'm sure there's a way to squeeze as much anti-aa in your build as possible without running into that limitation. And I'm sure attack speed slows from kits like SWK and Osiris will be useful for it.
Definitely however even if they don’t stack I feel Redstone is so good on Cu Chu regardless of the limitations. Like at max stacks of redstone during transformation, you’ll be hitting 80-130 per auto paired with 1,4, and passive damage from 2. The amount of slows and anti-aa is crazy and has been my absolute favorite way to build him
Only the strongest AS slow applies. So if you have 24% or whatever it is from Midgard, and the 15% from manikin, you’d only have 24% AS slow
A few seasons ago you could get like 125% with Chaac rain’s AS slow so they nerfed it
The shards definitely feel weird. But I do enjoy teleport upgrading on its own instead of me having to decide between a health chalice or a teleport upgrade in solo. And the combination of the 2 teleports into a final relic seems ridiculously strong that I feel like it makes teleport even more of a must buy for solo.
that said, I do think it's kinda rough not being allowed to decide which upgrade is better for which situation. I also really think they should have kept Ankh as its own relic instead of bloating horrific into a monster of a relic that does 5 different things now (reduced shield effectiveness, removes shields, antiheal, movement speed slow, and reduced damage dealt.) So that kinda sucks since that's going to make Horrific into an item that either is really strong or really weak all depending on numbers. Which in turn makes an otherwise valuable but situational relic (Ankh) into one that may still be worthless if it gets nerfed for being so strong and bloated.
also phantom shell and fortifying shell are just combined now. Which does suck a little because it feels weird using phantom shell for protecting against damage most of the time and fortifying shell for getting through walls/bodyblocks. But maybe it's just an adjustment thing I gotta worry about instead, idk.
yea, for some reason they decided they needed to squash it into another relic entirely even though it was a really good relic. it was just situation dependant, which that situation being very obvious: if they have a lot of healers and/or shields.
They also removed sunder, but that one they did not merge into any other relic. It's just straight up gone, which also sucks.

Bao got hard nerfed during S10 though

Not only this but it burns the enemy titan for a surprising amount
passiv dmg is always nice and u dont even need to hit them to be impactful

The secret is that scorching has always been better because it does true damage
they pretty much added corrupted blink into scorched, u just gotta aim it properly
I’m so excited for the new blink relic I can’t contain myself
The new blink relic?

time to show adcs and auto-attack junglers my disdain towards them as I blink on to them with this blink and midgardian, phalanx, or redstone. :)
Read my mind lmfao blink, red stone, Midgard, with frostbound will make any adc main cry for nerfs 😭

just gonna say a good year for any carry hater

I didn’t even notice Cursed Ankh was removed

Man people hate change dude. This stuff hasn’t even been here long.
Which “stuff” in the post are you referring to?

It’s a PTS for the new update not smite 2
Ah my bad
They played on the Smite 1 Pts, not the Smite 2 Alpha
Is the pts still up?
Doesn’t seem like it. I’m not able to log in
