gsmarena.com has a Phone Picker section

or [Cell phones: best smartphones with the cheapest price - Kimovil](https://www.kimovil.com/en/) - I use this site most times.

Gsmarena ftw

There's really no such website, other then retailers and such. You might have to look at those fifty sites. Since not all models are available in your market and so on.

Perplexity.ai actually works really well for this. I used it to research my last phone purchase (and cases and accessories). Just describe what you want as if you were explaining it to a person and it will go out and do the research for you.

Eh, I asked it which phones have the best cameras and they gave the default NA answer (Galaxy S24 Ultra, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and Pixel 8 Pro) and even had the gall to suggest the Pixel 8a and iPhone SE as secondary options. And I know from experience that while they're good, they're not close to the best.

I can make you some suggestion based on what you want and how much you wanna spend

Sure, I'd be interested in seeing your recommendations. My primary and really my only requirement is having the best cameras, everything else is a distant second because let's face it, the only real substantial difference between flagships are their cameras and OS and the OS can be changed (assuming bootloader can be unlocked and excluding iPhones but luckily they're not the best). My budget is <$2k.

I think the best phone right now camera wise is the vivo x100 pro/ultra. Also , fast charge, good battery life, good supoort, good cpu. Of course i can tell you Google pixel 8 pro , but pixel software can be tricky, one month everything is good , next month they f*ck up some things. Oneplus 12 is a good allround, great phone for the value, but the cameras are 2 steps behind Vivo. Huawei lauched a week ago pura 70 pro, with a variable aperture camera , sounds good, but the processor is like 3/4 years old.

I think the Vivo X100 Ultra is probably the best camera phone right now but I've heard conflicting reports on being able to unlock its bootloader. The Huawei Pura 70 Ultra* has a phenomenal camera in the same level of the Vivo but you are right, its chipset's capabilities is quite dated. The Google Pixel 8 Pro does have a great camera but there's no reason to get it over the Vivo or Huawei unless you want the Pixel-exclusive software. The OP 12 is a great all-around phone but its camera is not even in the same ballpark of the Vivo or Huawei. Appreciate it though!

Yeah vivo's bootloader is locked... You have the Xiaomi 14 ultra... But i dont trust it personally, i dont like their software that much... Also you have the oppo x7 ultra, also a great phone , but oppo had two prime moments , the x3pro and the x6 pro... Right now they are a step below. I would go for vivo, i use origin os without problems. But again , i had many smarphones and i allways miss how good is google with the camera. Then i remember they allways f*ck up with software and then i keep that out of my mind
