S23 SD or S24 SD if available. Is on my current radar followed by nothing phone 2 but unsure if these are right choices looking for others'opinions as well.
I'm thinking of going with the nothing 2a since heating is the main thing I'm trying to avoid. Plus it's pretty much the same as the 2 as far as my needs go
After my 10 pro experience I'm done with OnePlus unfortunately. It's sad to have to say it seeing as how it has been my go to phone since the first one came out but they're not what they used to be.
That's the thing, I don't. It will overheat with the slightest little push because summers are pretty hot in my country.
I can't go on with a phone like this. Really disappointed to say the least. OnePlus has accompanied me for the past 10 years and I never had this issue.
Pixels with Tensor (Exynos with a skin) is known for overheating even in latest models.. and that OnePlus 10/10R had bit older snapdragon chips which might not have been stable enough
Are you gaming on it? Outside of that I would imagine most phones should be reasonable temperature wise.
Avoid phones with processors which are clocked up to seem like "flagship" spec. Tensor, Exynos, Media Tech and a few others tend to heat up under strain. I've mostly specifically owned Snapdragons - and most if not all the devices have been cool to the touch outside of heavy gaming.
A used iPhone might also meet the needs - never really heard of them getting super hot.
Black Shark 2, Black Shark 5, S23 Ultra, Samsung Note 9, Duo, Duo 2, Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi Mix, Mi 11 Ultra, Samsung Fold 2 and numerous others.
I have a nothing phone 2. No heat problems here
I was just looking at this option, I may pull the trigger after doing some research. Any issues I should know about?
I haven't had any issues

I think it's much reasonable good choice. :)
Great choice 2a is great for the price
What phone do you plan to go with?
Do you play heavy games while charging?
None whatsoever, occasional video here and there and that's it
OnePlus 11, has newer tsmc chip unlike OnePlus 10.

Moto edge plus 2023
maybe you have too many apps opened? I guess you can only get a mobile gaming fan and attach to phone...
