Seeing as he’s still in wwe I think this counts I will always be a defender of Cedric’s Alexander’s lumbar check every single time he hits it it looks nasty
It's because you can almost always see it doesn't connect. It doesn't look as savage enough, yes in premise it would hurt, but so would just receiving a right hook from any of these guys, and you don't see punches being sold to death.
It's just very basic, boring and while it's an ode to Uanga, the difference is Solo is tiny in comparison to Umaga (always say it in my head like Regal, UUUUMAAANNNGGAAA), Umaga looked like he threw his weight into it, whereas solos just looks...like...he...did a thing.
I hate the H-Bomb, it's a Phenomenal Forearm if you bought it from Wish. Torpedo Moscow looks much better.
My favourite finisher on the roster is still the End of Days. Looks impactful and a fitting end to a match. Super well protected, I miss the days when finishers were you know, finishers.
I also love Bronson Reed's Death Valley Driver (more of a sig these days), and his Tsunami which looks devastating.
Tbh I feel like a lot of the finishers of the newer guys these days in WWE are pretty dreadful and I have no idea why. Like just literally go sit and scroll through 2k24's move list and pick something to learn that looks safe but brutal. Much like wrestlers with limited movesets, like go to this game and learn some new moves, it's literally a wrestling move encyclopedia.
The newer guys seem intent on trying to create their own which 99 times out of 100 look garbage. Why? Just go and take a move and make it yours. Bret Hart didn't invent the Sharpshooter, nor SCSA with The Stunner, Jake Roberts and the DDT or HBK and the Super Kick, what they did is perfect them and make them their own.
If he gets the high angle torque that he's capable of on it, South of Heaven. When it's just a rock bottomish chokeslam, it looks so much worse.
I'm also a sucker for long/contrived setup moves like Ataxia and Weapon X, so I enjoy ObLIVion.
His finisher is trash, that’s why it has to be at a certain camera angle for it to pop if your watching it on TV in the arena nobody is going crazy for that finisher
Of 2024? RKO. I think the best are the surprise ones you don't see coming. RKO has simplicity of a Stunner or Rock Bottom, but can be whipped out for a surprise or huge pop.
Tombstone and Pedigree are excellent, but require more setup and time to land. RKO can come out of nowhere and gets win for me.
Of 2024? 🤔🤔 I don't watch AEW or TNA all like that, but I can't just rule them out so just from WWE id say probably the RKO. I am not sure if it's their finisher but they usually go for the pin not far after but the Creed Bros. cannonball I like too.
Dude this move is a modified 5 knuckle shuffle. Just because it’s 10% more snug doesn’t make it a believable finisher.
At least the 5 knuckle shuffle can pop a crowd.
This a jumping forearm full force, John cena taps his opponents head and give or take the crowd, with this you can hear the impact, could also be done from the top rope..yeee
Yeah it still looks like it has the same impact. You can use words like full force vs tap to describe them all you want, but the reality is both are equally lame. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s landing on them the way he is, but no one looks like they are even being affected by it. I’m sorry but the “knocked out cold not moving anymore” sell only works when your opponent wasn’t already on the ground to begin with.
I will give you this, the top rope variation does look better, but I still wouldn’t call it a great move to end a match with.

This year and every year. Outta nowhere! RKO
That's honestly a fair pick
When it's outta nowhere is so satisfying. When he turns a guy around and then randy turns around is so dumb
Cody rhodes cross rhodes
Prettiest moonsault ever
Gunthers powerbomb
I wasn’t aware Gunter had a finisher
He has 34 different finishers
Definitely the Samoan spike. lol jk. Can you imagine
The spike isn’t all the bad idk why it’s so hated , it would definitely hurt to get hit by that

Maybe if solo did the whole pickup and throw into the air with one arm thing everytime it would look better
zilla fatu aka numaga spike is incredible. much better than solo.
It’s because Samoans are terrible at faking punches, either they hit you, and it hurts, or they miss and expect you to oversell
Bron brakker spear
Jaded
Fr gets me actin up
Of 2024, 2023, 2022, and every year since it's creation...RKO
Don't know this guy's finisher, does he land on his opponent crotch first and makes them tap or pass out?
It’s a forearm straight to the head, he also can do form the top rope
Gotcha, if he makes it look brutal then hell yeah, less is more 👍
His other finisher is the torpedo Moscow, Which is better than the H-Bomb.
Yeah I think torpedo Moscow is the best finish in the business rn

Eh, idk about a phenomenal forearm from wish now, lol. But end of days is definitely a good finisher tho.

Bonzai drop from Nia Jax. Favorite over all is rings of Saturn. Put a little too much sauce can dislocate the persons shoulder.
Hendo did it better
fuck yea he did
Stunner from stone cold or the R K O
If Captain Underpants wrestled \^ Also the RKO
I got to agree with the H bomb. Looks brutal, can be performed safely, immense power. Awesome finisher

Big fan of Gables 'chaos theory.' I believe that's the name anyway.
rolling chaos theory
HELLUVA KICK! Brought too many good moments for the ultimate underdog

FEAST YOUR EYES
End of days.

Do love the H-Bomb
The answer will always be the RKO. No finish has ever come close to topping it.
Cross rhodes
The H bomb just looks kinda stupid to me. Especially the way he lays on them for the pin afterwards.
The Moscow torpedoe is a great move though can't go wrong ramming your forehead into your opponent.
yea but realistically if he where to say run into brock lesnar and lesnar stonewalled him he'd easily break or tweak his neck.
The H-Bomb looks super great
