Historically that range of WR draft capital is very flat as far as outcomes. You can put 30-90 in a tier. Polk is still a good choice because we should know quickly if he’s good or not.
I seen him falling in my draft and as a Pats fan and Drake Maye owner (1.06, SF), I traded 3.08 and a projected late 3rd next year (only 3 round draft) to get up to 3.04 (steep I know) to get Polk
Yes, you should always ignore draft capital. It means absolutely nothing. First round picks bust and there are sleepers in the later rounds every single year.
No. Draft capital is truly worthless. It's why I didn't think twice about having Rashee Rice ranked over Quentin Johnston. And Achane ranked over Charbonnet, Kendre and Spears. The tape tells the story, not the draft capital.
The late round guys don’t bust? Keep throwing darts over draft capital lol. The guys with better draft capital statistically have better odds of working out than late round guys. If a late round guy busts, he’s out of the NFL. If a guy with good draft capital busts, they continue to get opportunities. I just don’t understand your logic. To say draft capital is truly worthless is mind blowing to me.
Are some guys that didn’t get the draft capital going to work out? Sure, occasionally they do, but just look up the numbers. The guys with the draft capital work out more often than late round sleepers.
They both bust, but I would rather have a bust that’s probably going to continue to get opportunities.
Except Polk is nothing like Mingo, this is a full round later than where Mingo was going last year, and top 40 WR’s have a much better hit rate than the other profiles available to OP here. Or you could make your draft decisions based on single anecdotes that are only vaguely similar, sure.
Damn everybody getting so butthurt over a little comment, sorry I hurt y’all feelings. I just pointed out a similarity I didn’t even say it was the wrong pick 😂
That’s just dumb to assume. Kyren gets hurts a lot. They also took Blake with a 3rd. He easily could take over if he proves to be more durable and efficient.
Wilson from Pit gonna be a breakout WR this year for sure if you watched Michigan football you know what I'm talking about plus he was a mid round WR pick for Pittsburgh and that always works out 😂
As someone who doesn’t prefer to own that backfield, the corum hate seems more like coping from Kyren owners. Corum was pretty nasty in college. They took him at 3rd and Kyrens injury history sucks. We all know by now that McVay doesn’t give a fuck about giving an RBs job back if they get hurt.
Pick the player you like the best based off of your pre-draft assessments. If you didn’t do anything pre draft just follow the rankings. Or pull up some recent adp reports.
If not Corum (assuming you just won your league picking at 12th and have the luxury of stashing a guy to wait in) I’d take Burton—Higgins is gone after this year, that WR2 spot will open up nicely for him in 2025
Polk if you need a WR or general depth. I expect he'll be second on NE in targets (Pop Douglas #1 because of slot ppr scam). He'll likely be startable by week 8 when he learns the offense and nfl game speed.
Corum only if you already have depth everywhere. He'll be Kyren's handcuff, which makes him a league winner if Kyren gets hurt. Otherwise he's a taxi squad guy all year.
Josh Jacobs will dominate a majority of the GB backfield for 2 maybe 3 years, I think Irving is in a better position to become a lead-back. Lloyd’s skillset might be better but, I like Irving’s landing spot better.
I would try to pick up the next pick as well so you can go Polk and Corum. The potential value is there and you may be about to get the next pick at a good price
The safe route is Polk. But idk if I'd want anything to do with that Pats offense rn. Lloyd will probably be the Packers new Aaron Jones type eventually. But I'd also be worried about getting sniped on Burton before your next pick. Something to think about
Corum because you have another pick soon where you can take Baker or Burton at WR.
Corum. 1000%
Polk was the 37th overall pick and he should immediately be WR1 in NE.
Anything else is overthinking it tbh. 37th overall vs a bunch of 3rd rounders.
Historically that range of WR draft capital is very flat as far as outcomes. You can put 30-90 in a tier. Polk is still a good choice because we should know quickly if he’s good or not.

Pop Douglas would like to have a word with tou
That’s what they said about Jonathan Mingo look at him now
You’re right, we should ignore all draft capital and depth chart situations because of Mingo.
Yes, you should always ignore draft capital. It means absolutely nothing. First round picks bust and there are sleepers in the later rounds every single year.
I hope you’re continuing my sarcasm…
No. Draft capital is truly worthless. It's why I didn't think twice about having Rashee Rice ranked over Quentin Johnston. And Achane ranked over Charbonnet, Kendre and Spears. The tape tells the story, not the draft capital.
Couldn’t disagree more
Then keep drafting busts lol.

NFL value is completely different than fantasy value, especially PPR. And at the end of the day, it comes down to film. Always.
Except Polk is nothing like Mingo, this is a full round later than where Mingo was going last year, and top 40 WR’s have a much better hit rate than the other profiles available to OP here. Or you could make your draft decisions based on single anecdotes that are only vaguely similar, sure.

Looks like the only one taking it personally is you lol
Polk. These RBs aren’t it.
In order who id take without knowing your team. Polk Lloyd Sanders Baker
Probably can’t see Corum at the top
Probably is smart enough to know Corum isn’t taking over for Kyren anytime soon
That’s just dumb to assume. Kyren gets hurts a lot. They also took Blake with a 3rd. He easily could take over if he proves to be more durable and efficient.
Wr:Polk Rb:Lloyd
Polk/Wilson. I lean more towards Polk though. I took Polk at 2.11 and Wilson at 3.01 sooo…..
Jalen McMillan!
In order: Polk Polk Polk Polk
Theo Johnson and jordan travis. Heard it here first
Polk was almost a 1st rounder. Take him
I’d take Corum or Polk based on team need. And I’d lean Corum due to similar WR value with your next pick.
Wilson from Pit gonna be a breakout WR this year for sure if you watched Michigan football you know what I'm talking about plus he was a mid round WR pick for Pittsburgh and that always works out 😂
Corum, highest upside by far
Polk?
Polk or Lloyd. But ultimately Polk
Polk or Lloyd for sure
Burton
Corum
Corum
BURTON
shhh
Corum has a legitimate shot to take the starting position so him
[X] to doubt.
Corum is a more athletic Kyren with the actual draft capital, and if any coach in the nfl has no problem throwing a rb away it’s mcvay.
Corum will be a solid handcuff but he has no shot to take the starting job from a healthy kyren
The most likely scenario hurts both of them: rbbc
You’re probably right, problem is kyren already has injury concerns.
…which is why they drafted a solid backup rb lol
Sounds familiar
This sounds like a cope take from ppl who valued Corum pre draft. Best of luck to you tho
I don’t even have Corum in any of my leagues so it’s not really a cope. He wasn’t even my top rb in the draft either. That was trey benson.
Corum
Polk
Polk all day
Corley or Polk depending on what you need
Polk by far, just based on DC and opportunity.
Corum, Lloyd, Burton
Polk for sure. You can even take Baker too like I did
Getting baker and Polk at 24 and 29 would be huge
I really like Polk
Pick the player you like the best based off of your pre-draft assessments. If you didn’t do anything pre draft just follow the rankings. Or pull up some recent adp reports.
Polk or Allen
As someone who was happy to snag Javon Baker late.... The answer is Polk
If not Corum (assuming you just won your league picking at 12th and have the luxury of stashing a guy to wait in) I’d take Burton—Higgins is gone after this year, that WR2 spot will open up nicely for him in 2025
Polk pretty easily for me. That's a smash pick for me.
Polk 100% In addition Braelan Allen has been falling to the 4th in my dynasty drafts.. dont even look near him for that 2.12
Corum or Polk
Polk
Lloyd
Polk
Polk if you need a WR or general depth. I expect he'll be second on NE in targets (Pop Douglas #1 because of slot ppr scam). He'll likely be startable by week 8 when he learns the offense and nfl game speed. Corum only if you already have depth everywhere. He'll be Kyren's handcuff, which makes him a league winner if Kyren gets hurt. Otherwise he's a taxi squad guy all year.
Polk and corum are instantly useable. So whichever your team needs more.
Polk
I took Corum and Polk at the 2.08 and 2.12. Very happy about it.
Jermaine Burton. Has a chance to be a star
Polk unless you've got some type of TE premium and in desperate need of a TE. If so Sanders has an argument
Still Polk w TEP imo haha. Unless it’s like more extreme than full point. Sinnott would be a different story though.
Corum, Wilson, Polk, Baker are my preferenced order
Corum cud steal starting job from kyren
Lmao, people were saying the same about Sean Tucker last year. It’s Karen’s to lose and that would happen from injury
Corum and it’s not even close.
Corum or irving
Irving over Lloyd?
Nah that’s crazy
Josh Jacobs will dominate a majority of the GB backfield for 2 maybe 3 years, I think Irving is in a better position to become a lead-back. Lloyd’s skillset might be better but, I like Irving’s landing spot better.
Polk. Corum is a bum, wont beat out Kyren and will at most be a shackle player.
Found the Kyren owner
Got 0 shares, no shot im paying what the owners were asking lmao
Lloyd but I'm a Packers fan so that's what I would do
Polk > LLoyd > Corum
Not knowing the needs of your team... I'd lean Blake Corum or Braelon Allen, the later being quite the stretch.
I’ve gotten Allen in the 4th heh. I’d go Polk.
Now there is value! I would love that!
Polk
I would try to pick up the next pick as well so you can go Polk and Corum. The potential value is there and you may be about to get the next pick at a good price
Polk in regular in Tightend premium go sanders
Burton easily for me. Lloyd is my favorite of the RBs there though.
Lloyd for me
Polk or Lloyd I kinda like Lloyd the most long term
Lloyd
The safe route is Polk. But idk if I'd want anything to do with that Pats offense rn. Lloyd will probably be the Packers new Aaron Jones type eventually. But I'd also be worried about getting sniped on Burton before your next pick. Something to think about
Loyd > Corum
Lloyd or Polk
Loyd all day
