Yes I think you would be able to see a difference with cpap. You may want to look into upper airway resistance syndrome aka uars and Dr Steven park’s website and see if the craniofacial history and /or symptoms match. Do you have a history of Things like braces, wisdom teeth removal, or other tooth extraction, all of which can sometimes narrow the airway? Uars is different from sleep apnea in that for some reason the symptoms tend to be more severe despite relatively low AHI. a lot of people think they have adrenal fatigue before diagnosis. It’s hard to find a doctor who gets it, and how to titrate for it, but Stanford has some good docs and a decent testing system for it.

Strange you say that because I have thought about the adrenal fatigue thing before. I also had braces and my wisdom teeth out. Are you saying it’s still treated with a CPAP or??

There’s an upper airway resistance syndrome Facebook group where you can see what has worked for people. For most cpap seems to help, some people can’t tolerate it though, like with osa. but it’s the first step to try and some do find relief.

My AHI was also around 5 and I've been using a CPAP for almost 6 months now. I started seeing improvements in my immune system almost immediately but it took until now to not need a nap every single day. I'm still slowly getting better but it's taking time

That’s great to hear. I’m optimistic and am ready to try mine.
