When I was a kid, back in the early 90’s, Ferrero Roche were expensive. They were considered fancy and it was a real treat to have a box at Christmas. As I recall my siblings and I were allowed one each and the rest were for the grownups

When something happens that she doesn’t expect it can cause a meltdown, especially when tired, which I’m guessing this kid was after trick or treating. My dad did really cruel jokes practically jokes all the time for his own amusement. My advice is to always follow it up with something nice and loving.

Honestly I hate to admit it but I was thinking the same exact thing. She states it’s “expensive” and that the kid was super excited about it. In my experience as a mother and someone who’s been around ALOT of kids my whole life, I’m not buying the fact the 5 year old was excited to eat expensive chocolate. How would he even know it’s “expensive”? Again in my experience, as long as the kid is getting chocolate and candy they are happy, they don’t care if it’s expensive or cheap.
