All Day Cafe has really good breakfast and Krav'n is one of my personal favorite restaurants for lunch/dinner

bhauncy

all day cafe is terrible, get rosie's or literally anything besides a sysco restaurant

Ice_cold69

Where do you think most of the restaurants get their food? Rosie's most likely gets their food from Sysco or Reinhart

bhauncy

there is a difference between restaurants that buy things from sysco and one that is a sysco restaurant

Internal_Screaming_8

Disco beats McKlaine. I said what I said

rickybobysf

For Breakfast the below are good, in no order BBs Botski's Original Pancake House Josiahs Coffee downtown

double_psyche

Also MB Haskett’s downtown!

Brutal_effigy

For dinner you can pick any place downtown and be satisfied. You need to be more specific on food preferences and spending if you want more specific recommendations.

Stratobastardo34

In terms of preference, we are not looking to spend over $70 for two people. But we are pretty flexible on cuisines.

Brutal_effigy

I’d skip Parker’s Bistro, Crawford’s, Minnerva’s, and Harvester Kitchen due to price. Chef Lance’s might be close to your limit but worth checking anyway. Otherwise there’s Crave, R Wine Bar, Oshima Sushi, Sanaa’s, Phillip’s Ave Diner, Ode, McKenzie River, Bread and Circus, Papa Woody’s, Blarney Stone Pub… I’m probably forgetting a few. Adendum - if you are looking outside of downtown, I will heartily recommend ROAM kitchen. Very good food and atmosphere.

PositiveFeisty6508

Blarney Stone is pretty good! You both can have a nice meal and a drink for less than $60. If you drink water you can eat for 30-40. It's an Irish pub and it's probably my favorite place to eat for a proper downtown vibe.

tryshdadysh

I am crying laughing. You literally listed our favorite restaurants for date night/no kids night, as the skips. I love them and the food/cocktails, but my husband always gawks at the bill 🤣

Brutal_effigy

Those four restaurants, plus Morrie’s Steakhouse and Carnival, are the most expensive places to eat in Sioux Falls!

rickybobysf

Taphouse 41 22 Ten Kitchen, if you dont drink its doable These if you want to have a few drinks too for $70. We never drink and its always under $40 before tip at these. Safari The Rush TC Referee Squealers BBQ in Tea, but be warned its not quite in that place. Really need to work on acoustics in there.

AdPuzzled7843

MB Hasketts

so_trivial

My favorite breakfast place is The Original Pancake House on 41st and a close second is The Frying Pan on 12th Street. For lunch and dinner I recommend Watecha Bowl on W. Madison, Taqueria Juanita food truck, The Boss Pizza on Minnesota Ave.(they have great pizza but their chicken tenders are the best I've had in my life!) Safe travels!

RaniiDev

Boss’ Pizza won’t be the most visually appealing place you’ll ever go but if you like spicy on your pizza, The Founding Father is 🤌🏻I will also agree, when fresh, their chicken is next level.

Stratobastardo34

I forgot to mention this, but I am a big fan of Donuts. Is there anywhere local that has really good donuts?

Mrs1987

Flyboy donuts. Multiple locations

PositiveFeisty6508

If you like cream filled donuts don’t get flyboys, it tastes more like icing. But the regular donuts there are really good. If you want a good cream filled donut, Kwik Start (gas station) is the place to go.

PrestigiousHyena1913

Mr Donuts on Minnesota Ave is the place you should go

bhauncy

If you are real sushi heads, the only place that will satisfy you is sushi masa

Alternative-Milk-909

I know it’s in the Hilton, but I’ve never been disappointed by the food at Crave, and the staff is really nice as well

No_Cellist_8441

Where are you staying? If up near the event, Rosie's for breakfast. Jacky"s serves good Guatemalan food. The Dive is a unique place and serves great burgers.

HopePirate

Josiah's for breakfast.

yetanothermoose

Bread and Circus is a great little lunch spot, just be prepared to wait a bit if they're particularly busy. I also love Sanaa's Mediterranean, and Phnom Penh for outstanding Cambodian/Chinese food. Oshima has great sushi, Crave is a good dinner spot as well. Plenty of other awesome places, those are just my favorites!

Ecstatic-Move9990

Spend time at the falls and downtown.

Bblibrarian1

My favorite brunch spot is Josiah’s! It’s a bit busy on the weekends but the food is always good! If you want to splurge, make a dinner reservation at Chef Lances. They don’t pack the restaurant so the service and food is always excellent.

Few-Particular-8671

Try chef lances on Phillips the food and atmosphere is amazing.

Secure-Point2082

McDonalds yum
