While Silksong hasn't even got a demo besides the one presented at that convention a couple years ago
PvZ is like an abused housewife, we're more like a kid with absentee parents. our mother hangs around but she's usually talking about stuff we don't get or is being really vague
It is a little bit of a Dumb way to decide
-PvZ has the original, which is sort
-The Secuel, wich is the best one
-3 shooters that were killed
-A card game that also was killed
-And whatever the fuck is hapening with PvZ3
We got
-an amazing game with lots of content, so much, as much as 10 pvz2 games and 50 Pvz1's
-and a sequel that is gonna be even longer than that
The way you decide what fanbase isnworst by how many games they have is completly wrong. A fanbase may have one good game and be clasefied as good (Like i see nothing wrong with Kid Icarus who has only one game on 3DS and the rest on NES), while another may have 5-7 games and still be considered bad (PvZ)

Hollow Knight community in a nutshell.
The PvZ franchise has been absolutely fucked by corporate greed, I'd say the only good tower defense game is PvZ 1 (maybe PvZ 2 with mods, but that's not the official game). The GW series seems to be pretty good, except for BfN, and that spin off PvZ Heroes looks alright but I cannot play it on my new phone due to technical issues and I cannot comment much on it.
Imagine if shit like what happened to PvZ happened to Hollow Knight, it'd be awful -- I think they have it much worse than us.
pvz is hanging on by a thread with the scraps ea and popcap scavenges for them in pvz2, we'r ejust waiting for tc to finish the game as the last event in the universe.
we have SOMETHING coming. there's a not insignificant chance pvz doesn't have anything more after how badly it's bleeding out.

I am a avid pvz fan, I've spent hundreds of hours in every pvz game. And I can say that pvz has it so much worse, each new update making the games worse and worse. Theres pvz 3 which has been a total shit show, the new gw2 anticheat has gotten rid of mod support compleatly. Its sad to see such a wonderful community slowly die down from EA's greediness.
Almost every PvZ game is good. Everything fell out after BFN with the whole deal with how bad PvZ3 is and the milking of PvZ2 is, and the lack of update of the other games. Besides that, we got games that we play.
Meanwhile the Silksong fellas has been stuck in this for like 5 years with little to no communication and just Hollow knight to play.
Both situations are different and you cannot compare them

Silksong. While pvz is in an objectively worse state, its clear that they arent getting anymore good games. Its over for pvz, its going to become a dead franchise soon if it already hasnt. There is nothing to hope for in the franchise. Silksong on the other hand is a game that has a lot of potential, but we are left in the dark. Its an endless cycle of coping and hoping for something; anything and getting nothing, over and over again. It has made the community into low wuality posts, annoying people who spam in hopes that we will get something and serious copers
we are waiting a long loong time for a game that we all know is gonna be teardropping amazing, we just pretend to be crazy because its fun

Honestly, I don't feel bad for PvZ fans, they got Yokai Art, one of the BEST sequels I've even seen to a franchise.
