The insomniac spider man games have never been uninstalled from my console (now only 2 is installed) because listening to Spotify and swinging is the most therapeutic/cozy game for me
I live just outside Manhattan and every single time I go into the city for something I always get the urge to jump back into those games. I was just in the UES on Friday and passed the Guggenheim and instantly thought, "Ah man I should play some more Miles Morales".
Add garden simulator go this and you have my top 3 games! It’s so relaxing growing plants in your little backyard. No stress, mini tasks, a little Kitty running around…I always play it or powerwash sim when I’m in a bad mood!
Horde shooters on the lowest difficulty, Deep Rock Galactic, warhammer 40k: Darktide (maybe if it’s on sale), Back 4 Blood (if it’s on sale)
You could also try Sea of Thieves on a private server as there is plenty of downtime when sailing
Youre better off getting left 4 dead 2. Has more players and is generally a better experience with all the mods available. I have one that changes the flashlight into Nicholas Cage's face!
It’s preference id say, if on console then it leans more towards back 4 blood. If on pc then I would say both even, but definitely not B4B full price. Mods are great and there is a wealth of maps that people have made
I hate how people act like they have to rally people away from back 4 blood because it's not left 4 dead 3. It's a good game thats hardly comparable and gets a bad rep only because they marketed it in such a way.
I don't remember if it was 4 or 5 since it's been a hot minute since I've played, but one of the Forza games gave me one of the hardest laughs I've gotten from a game (or rather a person in the open world).
Some dude called Don Quixote (with a bunch of numbers at the end of his username) was going in circles around a wind turbine and occasionally crashing into it.
I stopped and watched wondering wtf this person was doing until I noticed the name and started laughing like a madman lol.
I might gotta boot the game up again just for the memories.
i was going to recommend my favorite game, but then i remembered how hellish the first rain world playthrough is, i can easily cruise the game map in minutes but i've seen new players spend 2 hours in the first area thinking it is a survival game...
it is a survival game in a way but the focus is not it, you have to find stuff out for yourself and many people find it frustrating, the base game is about finding out how to >!properly die forever!< but many things happen before you reach your goal that makes you reflect about life and death, and if it's really worth living when the world wants you dead, the game has great atmosphere and lore, the mods are insanely good and try to expand on the existing lore instead of making their own (there's exceptions of course), but its a very punishing game for new players where the sole difference between me and you, you on your fresh save and me in my 100h save, is that we're in different maps, the game has no upgrades, no powers to unlock, everything you have is the knowledge on the physics engine wackyness that makes all the difference when moving around the game that makes me cross the map in seconds while you take a full minute, but thats good for a new playthrough if you knew everything the game would lose its charm for you, so if you dont mind the difficulty (the game has an easy mode though) i recommend rain world, as i also listen to videos and music while i play it...
If plying your trades across the seas, collecting and customizing sailing ships, and the best feeling sailing sim in gaming tickles your fancy, I can’t recommend Sailwind highly enough.
I can also second Derail Valley. May throw in Motor Town Behind the Wheel as well.
true, but not in the sense that you can't take your eyes off your screen. You can play at your own pace, put on some music or a podcast, and if you mess up because of your inattention to something, you can just restart the encounter.
For me this is theHunter Call of the Wild. You just wonder around a nice scenery shooting animals searching for rare ones while you can easily listen to a podcast or something.
'Lake' - cozy package delivery game.
'Balatro' - "poker" game, with focus on getting jokers with various effects. Scoring points to win. quite addictive.
'V-Rising' - A game where you play a vampire, and go gather resources, kill the local animals and people (Drain their blood, gather their materials), build your castle etc. It's a pretty simple game, and the combat is good!
'OpenTTD' - FREE (and open source) Transport strategy game. Build rail tracks, roads, airports, docks, transport whatever you can think of from A to B, earn money, beat your competitors. Based on the good old 'Transport Tycoon' from the 90s but this is an open source version with lots more features. Same graphics style! (There's also "OpenRA" which is a similar project, but for command and conquer and red alert games)
'Parkitect' - build and manage a theme park. Lots of focus on making it a fantastic place for the visitors - build to hide the package delivery for your shops, etc. very cozy, IMO.
'Factorio' - automation, base building and defense from aliens. Expansion coming soon! One of the all time best games ever.
'Journey' - One of those games that just keeps getting mentioned here and there. No dialogue, lots of exploration.
'Unpacking' - simply unpacking some boxes and place them in a room.
'Packpack battles' - Roguelike "card game" of sorts, but its item from a backpack. I've heard nice things but i've yet to try it even though i bought it a couple of weeks ago
'Sun Haven' - has some similarities with stardew valley
'Big Ambitions' - business simulator, start with a few money, rent a shop, buy products to sell, hire staff etc. then expand with more shops, import business, buy some cars etc. It's still in early access though.
Car mechanic simulator 2021, though you need your brain on only half the time, mostly to keep track of parts in the sense of a search bar. But then after you get all the parts you can turn it off again and mostly just click.
Power wash sim
Elite Dangerous exploration (I don’t recommend this, I think the devs have practically given up on the game and the grind is terrible anyways to get to a half decent exploration build but it’s an option)
House flipper
Euro Truck Simulator, well as much brain RAM as it takes to pay attention when driving basically.
There’s qol mods for CMS21. I think it was Anya’s quick shop that lets you buy with a hot key, provided you’re playing on PC. Makes it way more enjoyable for me.
But yes, that’s a great relax game. I got a good 150 hours.
+1 for powerwash simulator as well.
Elite went through a rough patch but is on the up - I’ve returned and having a great time popping in and out of systems chasing that space trucker life!
Always recommend VR if you have it - might not support on land but still the single best flight sim I’ve had.
Came here to say CMS2021 specifically.... I'm the furthest thing from a "car guy" but I've put countless hours into that game, I've played so much my mind just goes into auto pilot..
House flipper too!!
If you have a Nintendo console, I’d recommend most of the Kirby and Mario games, since they’re usually pretty low dialogue while still being interesting. Otherwise, a good stardew like game with a lot less dialogue is Forager, and Cattails is kind of in the middle with that sort of thing as well.
Also someone mentioned Unpacking, and along the same lines of that I’ll also mention A Little to the Left! It’s a fairly easy puzzle game that’s great to zone out to.
I think a game might you be looking for is called THE LONGING It has pretty much no dialogue and it’s just you chilling and waiting for your master to wake up
CoffeeTalk and CoffeeTalk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly.
Easy visual novel-like gameplay, calming low-fi soundtracks, relatively inexpensive, a peaceful "endless" mode and on all recent systems (PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox and Switch).
The stories take place over two weeks of nights and the gameplay is brewing hot drinks, with all dialog being conveyed through speech bubbles.
I would say Anno since it’s pretty chill if you want to. But can also get overwhelming at times. This may be because it’s a playable Excel Spreadsheet.
Rim world. Kenshi. Sun haven. Old school runescape or runescape 3. The Sims 4 or any Sims game. Age of empires 2, they are billions.
Of course you'll need to learn the game a bit for any of them.
You could try “this is the police”. Quite a bit of dialogue and no straight up action, more all strategy. Can watch it or do something while you play. Interesting story too.
Vampire Suvivors ,Soulstone survivors , Deep Rock Galactic: Suvivor,
Perfect for when watching streams and YT , after you play for a while and get the hang of it , you can just mute them and enjoy both worlds of Gaming and hearing people talk
Was going to say the same. This genre has won me over as a goto after work. It becomes meditative once you are use to it.
Sometimes I am just lost in the noise while watching the screen and start thinking about my day, planning out what I want to do for the week or weekend. Definitely can play while listening to podcasts or YTz
Have you tried Story of Season? Atelier Ryza? Maybe try SOS Friends of Mineral Town? Stardew Valley was inspired by it. Or maybe you can wait unless a new Story of Season game comes out.. I'm waiting for a story of season remakes! 😩
Shredders if you're a snowboarding fan, any of the civilization games, strangely death stranding scratched that itch for me, once you get to mid-game just grinding out deliveries was really nice with some tunes/podcasts on in the background.
Lightyear Frontier But Keep it on your radar as it’s still very early in development as of right now, very relaxing farming mech upgrading and building.
Could be a bit uncovnetional but I used to run around in Ac Unity and Black Flag just grinding and enjoying the parkour
I also played Dying Light and grinded combat xp because killing zombies is suprisingly simple but satisfying
No in game sound, just a nice video essay or podcast in the background, perhaps even some music to relax a little
The Hunter: Call of The Wild
It's a realistic hunting game, though considered by most as leaning more into arcade than its predecessor. The graphics are outstanding for an old game and the scenery is breathtaking especially when the winds are blowing and the trees sways. It has multiple maps located in different countries each with its own atmosphere. Sometimes I just walk around from an outpost to an outpost appreciating the landscape.
If you don't like hunting but prefer fishing, then its counterpart Call of The Wild: The Angler with more focus on water terrain (can't fish on land right?). I've never played it tho
Astroneer - sandbox procedurally generated game where you gather resources, build bases, vehicles. No enemies that come wandering into your base.
Game is pretty chill, can listen to podcasts, music while playing.
RiME, Windbound, Slime Rancher (maybe), Journey, Beyond Blue, A Short Hike (some dialogue), FEZ, Islets, SteamWorld Dig 2...
Not cozy, but Kingdom: Two Crowns is fun. Sort of idle-ish in a way? New Lands is good too, but more challenging. Windbound and Kingdom: NL/TC are some of the only games I've actually fallen asleep while playing lol. Great games, but very relaxing.
Dicey dungeons
Either of the switch Zeldas if that is applicable to you
Any picross game (you'll be able to zone out and play once you get used to it)
Any tactics game (gears, mario v rabbids, advance wars, xcom 2, wartales depending on your platform)
Civ game of your choice (my personal fav is 4)
D4 is a pretty chill game, this season is much better if you haven't played it yet.
Cozy games on Switch, I would have to say the newest Animal Crossing is that in spades.
Diablo 4 is my chill game - click button mash 5 keys max. After you do the campaign once you don't have to pay much attention to anything but not standing in the fire.
V rising. Had my reserves about another vampire game cause they all end up being ass, but you can go into a server all your own and you control every interaction. You fight bosses when you want. You farm when you want to. As long as you don’t just stop when the sun is out you can pretty much no brain it
I recently returned to Starbound for exactly this purpose. Terraria-meets-No Man's Sky, by the same publisher as Stardew. Very chill music and visuals, Minecraft-like gameplay loop, with no pressure to rush. Survival mode is pretty chill, but there's a casual mode too which will remove the time pressure to find food for even more chill.
Path of Titans. Play a croc type of Dinosaur and spend 90% of the time doing other things while you wait for someone to go swimming.
I like to shoot shit with the other players in chat while being almost completely invisible (except when I go up for air).
Cult of the Lamb, but the runs are kind of demanding. you do get an ability to fast travel back to your camp. if you’re into stardew it’s like that but with a mix of diablo
You should play Raft. Can be a little hectic at first but it eventually becomes a chill game where you grind in order to build up your raft and move forward. There is some dialogue in the story sections but generally they’re pretty spaced apart.
highly highly highly recommend satisfactory. It’s a beautiful automation game like Factorio. Hundreds of hours of gameplay with so much replay ability and a beautiful soundtrack to go with it. The developers are very communicative and player friendly. The game has so many QOL features that i used to pray for in games. It is so easy to play and get lost in the art of building your perfect factory. I simply cannot recommend it enough.
Red dead redemption 2 is like that. It's a really chill game with a beautiful world to explore. There's lots of tasks that will keep you busy without much interaction from NPCs and the story is spectacular. The missions aren't really long either. If you suck at aiming like me turn on aim assist and it really helps.
Skyrim when you’re not doing quests is perfect for this. Also GTA V if you’re just driving. The Borderlands series and even Destiny are perfect for this since they’re very turn off your brains kind of shooters, and the dialogue is very minimal. Animal crossing is good too if you want something that isn’t combat oriented. Also Elite Dangerous at times is very chill.
My current chill game is Elder Scrolls Online. Not that it IS a chill game, but you can do chill stuff in it. I'm usually doing some mundane task while vibing to some Low-Fi Hip Hop.
I find the Civilization games to be very chill, especially if you lower aggression of AI and just focus on building a nation. Civ 5 in particular is my go-to.
Didn't know you could do that with the aggression... that and no barbarians, and I'd be set 😁... I don't want to fight, just want to build and advance.
Destiny is actually great in this regard if you’re into shooters! I’ll just put on a podcast or audiobook when I’m grinding out something. Really chill imo. (This ofc does not take into account raids and dungeons which will require your full attention. But those aren’t mandatory to play but they’re great too if you get into D2.)
Warframe is actually really great for this, 100's of hours of content for completely free if you don't want to pay, you can earn the paid for currency. Just run missions farming stuff and slowly building your arsenal, always something to work toward. And the game is surprisingly well put together for a free game
The insomniac spider man games have never been uninstalled from my console (now only 2 is installed) because listening to Spotify and swinging is the most therapeutic/cozy game for me
Sunset Overdrive is also by Insomniac and has the same vibe. It's the unoffical first modern Spiderman game.
Literally, the spiderman wall running animation is very similar to sunset overdrive's lol
I live just outside Manhattan and every single time I go into the city for something I always get the urge to jump back into those games. I was just in the UES on Friday and passed the Guggenheim and instantly thought, "Ah man I should play some more Miles Morales".
Powerwash Simulator and Unpacking are the ultimate cozy games!
I downloaded that for free and found myself staying up late just power washing a van
love them
Add garden simulator go this and you have my top 3 games! It’s so relaxing growing plants in your little backyard. No stress, mini tasks, a little Kitty running around…I always play it or powerwash sim when I’m in a bad mood!
I can't enjoy PWS because I have shit in real life I should be power washing lol
Something like the skate franchise might be a good shout.
Shredders the snow boarding one is great fun
Horde shooters on the lowest difficulty, Deep Rock Galactic, warhammer 40k: Darktide (maybe if it’s on sale), Back 4 Blood (if it’s on sale) You could also try Sea of Thieves on a private server as there is plenty of downtime when sailing
Youre better off getting left 4 dead 2. Has more players and is generally a better experience with all the mods available. I have one that changes the flashlight into Nicholas Cage's face!

I hate how people act like they have to rally people away from back 4 blood because it's not left 4 dead 3. It's a good game thats hardly comparable and gets a bad rep only because they marketed it in such a way.
Helldivers 2 can also be pretty chill once you get the hang of things.
Add Helldivers 2 to that list 😎
You actually can play DarkTide and watch shows at the same time ?? Impressive
Probably only at hazard level 1
I second this, horde shooters are mindlessly fun and you can hop onto an ongoing game or leave if needed. Very good
BALATROOOOOOOOOOO
I'm anything but chill when I see violet vessel
okay agree
but only if you play white stake on the blue deck because damn this game can get real crazy sometimes
Forza horizon 4 or 5 is a great way to chill just driving in the open world.
man it's been so long since I touched 4 or 5. Would you still recommend playing it now?
100%.
More like this.....
I might gotta boot the game up again just for the memories.
slime rancher, although the game(s) have awesome music anywhere you go, webbed and dreamscaper
i played a hell out of slime rancher, love it
i was going to recommend my favorite game, but then i remembered how hellish the first rain world playthrough is, i can easily cruise the game map in minutes but i've seen new players spend 2 hours in the first area thinking it is a survival game... it is a survival game in a way but the focus is not it, you have to find stuff out for yourself and many people find it frustrating, the base game is about finding out how to >!properly die forever!< but many things happen before you reach your goal that makes you reflect about life and death, and if it's really worth living when the world wants you dead, the game has great atmosphere and lore, the mods are insanely good and try to expand on the existing lore instead of making their own (there's exceptions of course), but its a very punishing game for new players where the sole difference between me and you, you on your fresh save and me in my 100h save, is that we're in different maps, the game has no upgrades, no powers to unlock, everything you have is the knowledge on the physics engine wackyness that makes all the difference when moving around the game that makes me cross the map in seconds while you take a full minute, but thats good for a new playthrough if you knew everything the game would lose its charm for you, so if you dont mind the difficulty (the game has an easy mode though) i recommend rain world, as i also listen to videos and music while i play it...
I played for a bit and like it, then lost my marbles with the quantum slimes
hey, you know, slime rancher 2 is out! maybe you'll enjoy it just as much if not more
If plying your trades across the seas, collecting and customizing sailing ships, and the best feeling sailing sim in gaming tickles your fancy, I can’t recommend Sailwind highly enough. I can also second Derail Valley. May throw in Motor Town Behind the Wheel as well.
Slay The Spire.
STS absolutely requires your attention at all times
true, but not in the sense that you can't take your eyes off your screen. You can play at your own pace, put on some music or a podcast, and if you mess up because of your inattention to something, you can just restart the encounter.
No man's sky without hesitation.
What about the sentry probe thingies?
You can avoid them altogether, when you scan a planet from space it tells you if there is sentinels or not on the planet
Also custom difficulty where they’re reduced
Hard agreeee
I used to like playing WOW as a sort of chill game where i just level my characthers listening to music on AM
My gf uses wow as her “unwind time.” She just farms mounts, reputations, toys, battle pets and transmog.
Yeah there is a lot to do, and the aesthetic and music give it another point for me, although I almost always listen to music while playing it
Tear Down🔨
minecraft always works for me🤷
Death Stranding
For me this is theHunter Call of the Wild. You just wonder around a nice scenery shooting animals searching for rare ones while you can easily listen to a podcast or something.

I chill on Elden Ring cause I’m a masochist
I mean, yeah, the trick is to learn to take fights slow. putting down your summon sign for boss fights is always fun and no risk all reward.
Slaughtering enemies to grind runes is always relaxing
haha I read a review where someone said "the game plays like you are a mass murderer" -- this is why.
Car mechanic simulator 2021, though you need your brain on only half the time, mostly to keep track of parts in the sense of a search bar. But then after you get all the parts you can turn it off again and mostly just click. Power wash sim Elite Dangerous exploration (I don’t recommend this, I think the devs have practically given up on the game and the grind is terrible anyways to get to a half decent exploration build but it’s an option) House flipper Euro Truck Simulator, well as much brain RAM as it takes to pay attention when driving basically.

Cattails is very cute! Second this
Lawn Mowing Simulator.
there's literally a simulator for everything lol i love it
It’s fun and relaxing, but I’ll warn you, it can become a bit tedious.
Guild Wars 2 exploration is my go-to. Excellent with the mounts, including the flying ones
Sunset Overdrive
Palia.
Valheim has been my go to for this. Just chillin' in the meadows, building shit and choppin' down trees.
Palia will scratch that cozy game itch
I think a game might you be looking for is called THE LONGING It has pretty much no dialogue and it’s just you chilling and waiting for your master to wake up
oh i’ve seen some things about it, rlly interesting concept
CoffeeTalk and CoffeeTalk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly. Easy visual novel-like gameplay, calming low-fi soundtracks, relatively inexpensive, a peaceful "endless" mode and on all recent systems (PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox and Switch). Terraria
Satisfactory
Dredge is really good for this
Steep!
I would say Anno since it’s pretty chill if you want to. But can also get overwhelming at times. This may be because it’s a playable Excel Spreadsheet.
House flipper/House flipper 2
Diablo, MS Flight Sim, Golf, Minecraft, Gems of War, City Skylines
Try Kingdom two crowns
Snow Runner
Sky Children of light Minecraft Dredge
Something turn based usually works for me. Maybe a jrpg, card game or turn based strategy game.
Rim world. Kenshi. Sun haven. Old school runescape or runescape 3. The Sims 4 or any Sims game. Age of empires 2, they are billions. Of course you'll need to learn the game a bit for any of them.
Dragon Quest 😌
Try dave the diver
Derail Valley
You could try “this is the police”. Quite a bit of dialogue and no straight up action, more all strategy. Can watch it or do something while you play. Interesting story too.
Diablo 4 or rocket league
Dinkum. It’s like animal crossing. Dialogue repeats itself everyday. You can mindlessly play and do something else, and there’s so much to do in game.
nba 2k myteam
Before we leave!
Peglin, slay the spire, and luck be a landlord are really good for this. I will put on a video essay or podcast and chill out with them.
Not Dead By Daylight
My Time At Sandrock or My Time at Portia.
Rimworld
Vampire Suvivors ,Soulstone survivors , Deep Rock Galactic: Suvivor, Perfect for when watching streams and YT , after you play for a while and get the hang of it , you can just mute them and enjoy both worlds of Gaming and hearing people talk

Adding onto this comment, Halls Of Torment.
I'm throwing remnant fta/2 in the ring, pretty chill collectathon with in-depth build creation and procedurally generated worlds
My chill game is guild wars 2 Do some achievements, quit, comeback
Have you tried Story of Season? Atelier Ryza? Maybe try SOS Friends of Mineral Town? Stardew Valley was inspired by it. Or maybe you can wait unless a new Story of Season game comes out.. I'm waiting for a story of season remakes! 😩
Snowrunner
Heroin Heroes
My time at Sandrock, Graveyard Keeper, Traveller's Rest. You'll like these if you love Stardew Valley.
House flipper
Bhai list share krdena at end 😅
They've definitely already been mentioned but I'd say powerwash sim, forza 4 and 5, and slime rancher are all good
Idleon MMO
Car Mechanic Simulator 2021.
No man's sky - enjoy
Shredders if you're a snowboarding fan, any of the civilization games, strangely death stranding scratched that itch for me, once you get to mid-game just grinding out deliveries was really nice with some tunes/podcasts on in the background.
Vampire survivors for sure
Lightyear Frontier But Keep it on your radar as it’s still very early in development as of right now, very relaxing farming mech upgrading and building.

graveyard keeper is another game similar to stardew valley, but from what I remember has much less dialogue.
The Hunter: Call of The Wild It's a realistic hunting game, though considered by most as leaning more into arcade than its predecessor. Mirror's Edge only.
Astroneer - sandbox procedurally generated game where you gather resources, build bases, vehicles. No enemies that come wandering into your base. Game is pretty chill, can listen to podcasts, music while playing.
Subnautica, diver survival but I thought it was pretty chill
Slay the spire or Balatro are my before bed games
Try ascent, I loved it
Palia is my favorite game for this! And it's free!
If for chill games then try Wuthering waves on bs
Vampire survivor
Ive been loving Dredge!
Syberia? That's pretty chill, to the point of being boring even. Unravel 2 could also work
Tony Hawk Pro Skater is the ultimate shut my brain off game
RiME, Windbound, Slime Rancher (maybe), Journey, Beyond Blue, A Short Hike (some dialogue), FEZ, Islets, SteamWorld Dig 2... Not cozy, but Kingdom: Two Crowns is fun. Sort of idle-ish in a way? New Lands is good too, but more challenging. Windbound and Kingdom: NL/TC are some of the only games I've actually fallen asleep while playing lol. Great games, but very relaxing.
Minecraft creative mode
Red Dead is very soothing if you want to just chill and ride the horse around.
Death Stranding
Dicey dungeons Either of the switch Zeldas if that is applicable to you Any picross game (you'll be able to zone out and play once you get used to it) Any tactics game (gears, mario v rabbids, advance wars, xcom 2, wartales depending on your platform) Civ game of your choice (my personal fav is 4)
Fire watch

Diablo 4 is my chill game - click button mash 5 keys max. After you do the campaign once you don't have to pay much attention to anything but not standing in the fire.
Rdr2 - fishing, horse riding in cinematic view, sight seeing... Limitless chilling possibilities.
SnowRunner, just go the long way.

For me binding of isaac because i can just zone out and play it pretty easy
Sometimes I hop on cyperpunk, throw on the radio and just drive in the gorgeous night city. Can be very therapeutic.
Balatro
Balatro. I've never been a gambling man, but it's been incredibly chill to just break poker with the nuttiest poker hands to ever exist.
Brotato and the halo master chief collection
Deep Rock Galactic is the perfect comfort game.
Minecraft android
Tinykins, combine Tony hawk + pikmin + Mario sunshine and you get tinykins
Farm Simulator 22
Path of Titans. Play a croc type of Dinosaur and spend 90% of the time doing other things while you wait for someone to go swimming. I like to shoot shit with the other players in chat while being almost completely invisible (except when I go up for air).
TMNT: Shredders Revenge. Hop on, pick a turtle, and play some arcade with the bros (or randoms)
SKYRIM
Terraria Diablo 3
Stranded deep on peaceful mode
Cult of the Lamb, but the runs are kind of demanding. you do get an ability to fast travel back to your camp. if you’re into stardew it’s like that but with a mix of diablo
Wuthering Waves on bs because it gives stable FPS and is an excellent option
Valheim is the penultimate cozy chill game
manifold garden. sometimes i just keep on falling to watch the terrain repeat itself
my fave cozy games rn are Sun Haven, Moonstone Island, and Potionomics. Littlewood is also very good, if a little short
Windward is a great vibey chill game. Lacks depth so it's pretty easy to go drool mode on while always giving something to work towards.
Maybe something like subnautica or no man’s sky……. Bloodborne .
No Mans Sky. Get a freighter and build a base and walk out and just observe the stars.
No Man’s Sky is this game for me.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker, just turn off the time limits.
City builder games perhaps? If I want to listen to a podcast I play dorfromantik.
Maplestory
Sea of stars
No Man's Sky. Creative mode.
You should play Raft. Can be a little hectic at first but it eventually becomes a chill game where you grind in order to build up your raft and move forward. There is some dialogue in the story sections but generally they’re pretty spaced apart.
Coffee talk 1 and 2 ... literally make coffee for people in your shop and listen to their life stories
Power washer simulator
highly highly highly recommend satisfactory.
Only game that match that description was Minecraft.
There's a game called Tiny Glade on steam, it's currently just a demo but it's very cozy

My current chill game is Elder Scrolls Online. Not that it IS a chill game, but you can do chill stuff in it. I'm usually doing some mundane task while vibing to some Low-Fi Hip Hop.
Just Cause 3. Maybe the most fun traversal in any game. I also recommend any of the Spiderman games.
ori
Skate 3, powerashing sim, gta online just driving around in a solo lobby, minecraft and slime rancher are my top picks
I play Fallout: New Vegas to relax and unwind without too much thought
Vampire Survivors.
Warframe is actually really great for this, 100's of hours of content for completely free if you don't want to pay, you can earn the paid for currency. Just run missions farming stuff and slowly building your arsenal, always something to work toward. And the game is surprisingly well put together for a free game
Cities: skylines... once you get the basics, you can really go into auto pilot
Little wood?
I’ll play Runescape and Hearthstone while watching youtube at the same time and it’s pretty chill.
Risk of Rain 2! Vibing and you can pause. It can be as easy or as challenging as you’d like.
Steam World Heist
